Osteria Da Roberto in Altendorf

The food is fantastic. Ligurian, very authentic food. Excellent fish in the Ligurian style. The pizzas are crispy with a thin base, like in Napoli. The best tiramisu ever. Perfect. There are also good wines and the atmosphere is cozy with lots of wood and white fabric tablecloths. We come here regularly. The negative reviews come from people who otherwise only rate themselves or restaurants like KWC in Bulgaria or restaurants in other countries in the Foreign East.

Roberto runs the place alone, you have to wait a little longer, but it usually happens pretty quickly for him to do everything alone 😊

Fantastic! From the carpaccio, to the pasta with the homemade pesto and the spaghetti with seafood: everything was delicious and tasted fresh and homemade. The tiramisu at the end was the icing on the already wonderful cake 🥳 The selection of wines is also fantastic, small but nice, like the whole menu and at super fair prices. We are looking forward to the next time!

We are not satisfied with the service and the food. The boss was overwhelmed and worked alone. At the end when we got up he shouted that we had to throw away our chewing gum box. They lack respect.

Roberto and his tiramisu simply 😇. As in Siebnen, perfect hosts with excellent cuisine. Whether pizza or Ligurian specialties, everything is right. We will be back

This is a very special place. It's run by one person only - Roberto. The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable. Limited vin list, but only good ones. I would recommend the pasta and Tiramisu. Will be back.

Today we were very spontaneous and had something to eat there. From the starter, burrata, to the main course, a pizza, to the tiramisu, everything was excellent. Unfortunately I only took one photo. We will be very happy to come back.

We went to Osteria Da Roberto for lunch today and we really enjoyed it. The penne all'amatriciana was super tasty, great sauce and the pasta was cooked great al dente. We also really enjoyed the pizza. Be sure to try the tiramisu, it's a revelation! We were welcomed and served very friendly. Very child-friendly, also the menu. We will definitely come back and are already looking forward to our next visit.

We had dinner with 6 people, very nice and welcoming environment. Roberto is a very hospitable, kind and nice host (even with the children, who appreciated them very much). I have never eaten such good pizza in a restaurant in Switzerland before. The tiramisu is also very hard to beat. Super friendly host who does everything herself and then so great - RESPECT! We'd love to come back. :-)

We stumbled upon Osteria Da Roberto on our trip to St Moritz. The reviews we read said this place was amazing, and those reviews were indeed true. As we arrived, we were greeted very warmly by Roberto. The menu wasn’t in english, but he helped us understand and recommended several dishes for us. First, the mushroom pappardelle. It was amazing. The cream sauce wasn’t too creamy, it was just right. The hints of olive oil made it perfect. The prosciutto e funghi pizza was probably the best pizza I’ve had in awhile. The tomato sauce was rich, and acidic. The mushroom blended well with the sauce and prosciutto, so did the cheese. The Amateiciana Penne was probably my favorite. Again, the tomato sauce was on point. The parmesan he sprinkled on top was a wonderful touch to this already wonderful dish. The seafood pasta, nothing short of perfection. It was really really really good… Lastly, Roberto’s Tiramisu. The best in the world, he said. It was great, and really soft. The chocolate was just right for me, so was the cream. Overall, I think I’d say this is somewhat underrated, in some way. At the time, we were the only ones eating there. The owner, chef, Roberto was amazing. We couldn’t have asked for any better. I highly highly recommend this place for Italian food lovers. The value for money is also on point. Besides food, the service from Roberto himself was a solid 13/10. We even got a lesson on Osteria and Trattoria 😁. Osteria Da Roberto located right by the Altendorf station. Thank you for the great experience, Roberto!

Excellent value for money. The owner Roberto's dishes are excellent, cooked with skill and served at the table by him. Friendliness and friendliness distinguish this tavern, which will be an obligatory stop in the next visits to Altendorf

The three of us were guests at Roberto's on Saturday evening and it was exceptionally good and he is a warm host. The meat was fried to perfection, the pizza was super crispy and the pappardelle with porcini mushrooms was also a poem. There is “only” one dessert, a classic tiramisu, but he makes it fresh every day and it is the best I have ever had. Sometimes you just have to wait a bit because Roberto does everything himself (kitchen and service), but the wait is even more worth it. We'd love to come back!

After a visit to the Vogele Culture Center in Pfäffikon, we happened to end up at the “Osteria Da Roberto” in Altendorf. Even though it was just before lunchtime (2:00 p.m.), we were allowed to sit at a white-covered table. There were two menus to choose from: the meat-heavy one for 23.50 (today meatballs with peas), the other - various pastas with sauces/side dishes to choose from for 21.50. This included a beautifully presented mixed salad, followed by a small dessert and a soft drink. The tiramisu was not small at all and was super delicate. The "Osteria Da Roberto" is a pleasant discovery. I'm not used to such prices of this quality in Zurich! Thanks Roberto.

Very fine food, very nice welcome and attentive support throughout the evening. Roberto's cuisine is excellent and his soon-to-be legendary tiramisu is second to none! Mailin, our young dog, was also warmly welcomed. A real enrichment for Altendorf.

Today (Sunday lunchtime) the five of us were at Roberto's Osteria. Everything from A to Z was delicious. For dinner we had a glass of his recommended red 🍷😃 and for dessert I think a unique tiramisu...you have to try it...☺️...world class...gladly again!

The Osteria Da Roberto offers delicious fresh italian food in a cozy atmosphere. Roberto is super friendly and helpful. The Tiramisu is exceptional just like the pizzas. Plenty of parking spaces are available but the trainstation is right next to this place.

Simply good. Small, clear map. A few good ones, spec. Wine, the Tirami su is so airy, a dream. Warm service. You just feel comfortable. Price / offer: Very good.

Roberto works with the same concept as before in Ligure in Siebnen, i.e. cooking and serving mostly alone. The food is fresh and a poem. The tiramisu is the best I know. For us, a visit to Roberto is always like a little vacation.

A culinary oasis in Altendorf has opened at Bahnhofstrasse 21. Roberto had run the trattoria in Siebnen for a few years, where we were regular customers. Since the building there was being torn down, he had to leave and so our favorite Italian restaurant was no longer in the village. Our joy is even greater that Roberto has now opened a new restaurant. We were there last week and, as always, he absolutely spoiled us. The beef was cooked to perfection. The porcini mushroom sauce is a dream. There was a delicious Aperol Spritz for the aperitif on the beautiful terrace and the fine wine “Rocca Rubia” for dinner. (His pizzas are also to die for; the vegetarian pizza is also so tasty.) It's wonderful outside in the new restaurant in the summer. Inside, the ambience is warm and inviting, perfect for a cozy evening by candlelight. As a special tip, we recommend Roberto's Tiramisu. It is the best we have ever had!!!!!...and we have tried many - neither in Ticino nor in Italy have we ever had such a wonderful, airy and light tiramisu again. We are so happy that Roberto is pampering us with culinary delights again and can recommend him without any ifs and buts!

Roberto is a very warm host. In summer, the terrace invites you to linger outside. The indoor room is also very cozy. Roberto was previously in Siebnen and had a 5.0 star rating - quite rightly so.
