Ox in Engelberg

Fr. 11.20 for a small portion of fries, mayo and ketchup. Is something like that normal?

This restaurant is an downright cash grab. The quality of their food is absolutely awful, not to mention the high prices. Not only do they use the cheapest frozen products, but they also serve them poorly prepared. Before me, 3 other customers returned an uncooked chicken dish, which was served for little children. Absolutely shameful!

We went to Burger Night on Friday because the OX is open until 9 p.m. The burgers were excellent and the price/performance ratio was also great. The service was also perfect and we were well advised. It's a shame that the OX is otherwise only open until 6 p.m. Otherwise we would probably eat here more often during the holidays. Opening hours until 7 p.m. would be enough for us. But keep it up! We'll definitely come back.

Food can be picked up self-service. Not so many seats, but plenty of playground for the little ones.

Very nice play area for children of all ages. Good change in bad weather. Food selection is sufficient, but could be a little more comprehensive.

Nice atmosphere, great view, lots of games for the children, so mom and dad can sit down for a short while. The portion size was mega, so the food was a very good price/quantity ratio. The staff was super friendly and there's nothing more I can add. We'd love to come back. See you soon

Fine Ox Burger. Unfortunately delivered in mild instead of hot as ordered. A pity!!!

Ideal for going there with children during your lunch break or for a coffee. Prices are okay. Freshly made sandwiches are great!

Great indoor playground that we only discovered by chance. We actually wanted to take the Brunni cable car to the Globi adventure playground, but the weather was too bad. So we spent a few lovely hours here and our son had a lot of fun. Your physical well-being is also taken care of and we had delicious coffee and cake here. Ideal for families with small children!

Very nice little bistro in Engelberg, right at the Brunni valley station. Ideal for families with an activity box for the older little ones and a separate room with Big Lego foam bricks, crawling tubes, children's tables with painting utensils and lots more. This means the little ones can let off steam while the adults can chat, eat and drink. Just perfect! The title of family restaurant has truly been earned here.

Good for a bad weather program. Ideal for children aged 1-6 years.

A nice restaurant right on the Engelberg and Brunnibahn (in the valley below). It is a self-service restaurant with a family atmosphere and of course for skiers, snowboarders and... Geared towards winter sports enthusiasts. This can be seen in the size of the aisles and also the floor made of anti-slip material etc. It has some large tables for sitting and feasting, a beautiful outdoor area and several play areas for children. The toddlers' corner as well as the "discovery and play maze" are really fantastic for children. Our daughter had a lot of fun in both rooms. The food is more in the fast food area, i.e. snacks. The cakes are delicious and the price is good. We spent around CHF 45 for a portion of fries with nuggets, cake, ice cream and drinks. It is a good address for people or families who need to eat after sport.

Fine and beautiful restaurant for a tea or bunch while skiing

Actually a good restaurant, but for those who drive until the end there is nothing to eat after 4.30 p.m. - the kitchen is closed - although the opening time on Sunday was until 6 p.m. We would have liked to have strengthened ourselves before we set off. A pity...

Cozy and warm atmosphere due to the lots of wood and the large windows. Unfortunately, the dishes are prepared a bit carelessly; but still delicious.

Was at the BurgerNight, fine food and great value for money. Location perfect - at the valley station of the gondola.

Food was ok, good fries, the meat on the burger was way too small and the sauce wasn't good. Chicken nuggets ok.

We stopped for lunch today (3 adults and 2 kids). The food variety was good and typical for a restaurant where skiers frequent. It was also quite pricey. Good location and and friendly service.

Good cheeseburger, affordable. The staff and especially the cook was friendly. There's a huge window facing the slope, so there's actually some entertainment watching the kids and beginners skiing.

I love this restaurant in engelberg, very close to mount titlis parking. The food is Indian and absolutely delicious. They serve awesome idli, medu vadas, chutney, suji halva, puris, and aambar, to top it all masala chai. A brilliant Indian dining experience in Switzerland.

Too expensive for a self-service family restaurant. Service is friendly, selection of food and drinks is good.

Nice atmosphere, but very simple food at high price (burger with tomato and pickles has exactly one of each -at 19 Francs, chicken nuggets for kids might not contain any meat, ...). Give your guests a little more creativity and quality in the kitchen!

Cozy, good atmosphere but a bit expensive

Excellent for taking a break after skiing, you can have breakfast and lunch, they have a children's area, a children's menu, adapted for wheelchairs and they offer family menu packages.

Small self-service restaurant. Typical ski resort dishes, plus burgers. Clean toilets with nice diaper changing room (wheelchair accessible toilet). Unfortunately very little seating space indoor, so gets extremely crowded during the ski reason.

Family friendly, wheelchair accessible. Thursday and Friday in Winter Burger Night.

Good serving size. Very nice surrounding views
