Very friendly staff and good food. We tried a few sandwiches and they were all really good and I can recommend it both for adults and kids. Really great place!

Nice bar in the Kempinskihotel. Good cocktails and also burgers, there is live music in the evenings. Relaxed atmosphere, comfortable seating, nice service.

We came here on day three of our five day stay in Engelberg, hoping for some nice “light” cuisine. The atmosphere was very nice, it is a clean and stylish restaurant and the view over Engelberg is fantastic. The service was very friendly and in most parts very good, except when two new tables arrived at the same time and we had to wait over empty glasses and empty plates for quite some time, while the food and drinks orders of the other tables were taken and brought out… I suppose that is understandable, but maybe it would make sense to get some more staff to cover busier evenings. The food unfortunately was only “ok”. It was perfectly fine but nothing exceptional. We had Pad Thai, the ginger beef and the duck in lychee sauce and all were certainly edible but far from the best Thai food we ever had. The desserts, especially the pancake, were disappointing. The portion was tiny and it tasted like it had been made way in advance and had been reheated, so ended up being very dry. All in all I wouldn’t come here again.

Very nice atmosphere with the most delicious schnitzel with rösti I have ever had. The staff is very nice and friendly and it was definitely worth the hike up to the restaurant on a day when the slopes were closed for skiing.

Good as always, the Hotel staff are very friendly and kind....And also some photos of our day in the snow with a spectacular dinner that was really good....

Very nice location.Small, very cozy and very clean hotel.Price-performance very good.Kitchen very good. Service very good, except for one very unfriendly German person. Boss not capable of criticism! For this reason there is no reason for me to visit anymore.
