Pacifico in Luzern

When you say Mexican food, you immediately think of fresh, tasty, picante, lime, cilandro... Me and my husband wanted to go out for Spanish or Mexican food today and I told my husband that Pacifico was better than all the others. Unfortunately the food wasn't as expected! starter Nachos, tasteless, cold plates, cheese not melted properly, pico de gallo can be seen in the pictures, which is canned tomatoes without onions, herbs, etc. Main course Burrito, that's not a burrito, 🌯 you can't eat it. Tasteless without salt, dry, potatoes were probably prepared a few days ago, etc. I have given the feedback to the manager and I hope he will do something about it. Mariano provided great service!!! Very friendly, nice and attentive!!! Fits perfectly with the concept.

Went there for a little birthday lunch. It was not very busy at all, which we loved, food was good, interior was very nice indeed. Staff were attentive and friendly. We enjoyed our lunch there and the relative solitude. Short walk from/to Luzern station too.

The staff were extremely friendly and could speak English, which was great for me as a tourist. The food is really good and is served in a timely manner. The atmosphere and music were really good and I was able to have conversations with the people I went with.

We had reserved for 12 people but we got 2 tables and not next to each other. When we asked Mr. Boog about it, he didn't even look for a solution or anything. The food came within 5 minutes and the meat was cold. After about 1 hour, Mr. Elia Boog came and wanted to take away the table for two, but we said that there would be two more. On this statement, he said that we would give him 150 francs, which he could fill for more people because you can only reserve the table for 2 hours! Mr. Boog was very unfriendly and uncommunicative and said that she had the same discussion with guests every weekend. We will never eat there again. Pacifico used to be much, much better!

The food was basically okay, I ate the vegetarian burger, it tasted a bit bland. What I find inappropriate these days is that there is no vegetarian lunch menu. I specifically asked if there was a vegetarian option and the waitress's answer was simply "No"... So at lunchtime I had to order a vegetarian burger for 36.-, even though the chicken burger from the menu cost 21.50. In the normal menu the price of both burgers is 36.-... To be honest, I find that cheeky and as a vegetarian I feel treated quite inconsiderately. At least I wouldn't think it was too much to ask for a vegetarian menu option...

Since neither of us was very hungry, we ordered 1x PouletKnusperli without French fries and 1x Crispy Chicken Burger without country cuts. We still paid the full price, which I don't consider to be customer-friendly at all, and I even find it cheeky. I even pointed this out and would have expected that they would accommodate us with the price, even if it had only been a few francs. After this disappointment I will not visit this restaurant again. Too overpriced. Price/performance not justified.

Food was ok... I remember Caesar's chicken salad much better, garlic bread was dry and cold... drinks were good.

2x stomach upset because of sauces, music at dinner too loud (you have to shout at each other), waiting time for drinks too long (you are also ignored)

Good atmosphere with relatives. Large bar, tables but rather a small dance floor. Mostly DJ with Latino pop. Audience well-groomed and decent. Service staff friendly and competent. Bouncer decent. Tex-Mex cuisine. Caesar salad and prawns were very good.

Don't go there anymore! I used to go there often, but since the service staff and kitchen changed. The food and service have become terrible. We had to wave all night for someone to come and give us the menu, same goes for food ordering. The quality of the food has deteriorated. Nobody came to our table to ask if we had any special requests. We also had to get up and look for a waiter to pay our bills... Please train the new employees so that they can at least provide better service...

Food is super delicious. The portion is also very generous, it was a bit too much for me. Service could be friendlier.

Before you pay the bill, you should first check what you are paying for. I realized I paid for three drinks that I didn't consume at all. Unfortunately, I only noticed this when I got home and I have to admit that it was my mistake not to mention it on site. I would also like to note that the serving of the food was not as motivated as before. I think it's a shame that the food is just put on the table instead of being served with motivation. Especially with the prices you pay, you would like a more attentive and friendly service culture, as was the case in the past and the chef or service chef who showed you where and to the table was not motivated at all and didn't even give a friendly welcome.

Good Mexican food. We were hungry late, and they were open. The Carne asada and filet were tasty.

I ordered the lunch menu chicken strips in flour tortillas. There were a total of 1.5 tortillas cut, i.e. 3 half tortillas. They weren't chicken strips but pieces of chicken like sliced ​​meat. I counted 8 small pieces, an absolute disgrace in my opinion. The food was ok, nothing special but of good quality. As I was eating, I saw what the portion from the same menu looked like at the table next door (a little bigger). When I approached the boss and gave her my feedback (not a complaint), she said: "They should have said that from the beginning, not just when she had eaten everything" which was just disappointing. I was then offered a free coffee, which is nice, but still doesn't stop me from visiting this restaurant again, which I have enjoyed visiting in the past. I would also like to mention that the service was just bad when I had finished eating for over 15 minutes and the server, after walking past me what felt like 5 times, still didn't clear my empty plate and I even had to tell him Can you please clear my plate, that says a lot about the service, I could give 2.3 more examples. I visited the restaurant very often in 2023 and the service was always good, something must have changed because it has no longer been recommended since the new year.

Makes you wonder if there are trained chefs in the kitchen???? Professional pride nil. I would be ashamed to send such food!!!

There is no club sandwich anymore. I've been away from Lucerne for 7 years now, I come back and the bestseller is no longer on the menu. Really sad...I won't be coming back!!!

We were a group of women and we really enjoyed it!! The only thing I have to complain about! It has become very expensive...a Prosseco 10.- is definitely too much...and it wasn't that tasty either...unfortunately I won't be eating there anymore...I have to earn my money too.....

Very tasty food. Spare ribs super tasty. Big portion. Nicely decorated. Tables are somewhat cramped, reservations are recommended. Unfortunately a bit loud, but if you know it, it's ok. Nice staff, fast service. Price performance ok for Lucerne.

Had an excellent meal at Pacifico while we were in Luzern. Great food. Great staff. Loved the imported Mexican beer as well.

Hands down my favorite restaurant in Luzern. Tried 3 of their cocktails and 3 different dishes on different occasions. By far, the pork ribs were the best!!! Juicy and tender 😋 yum! The salads are good too if you're looking to eat light, but if you are adventurous, definitely try out the pork ribs! Atmosphere is lovely and lively there. Service is fine, I never had a problem with any of the staff.

Unfortunately far too expensive! A burger costs CHF 37.00!!

We were looking for something close to our accommodation and found it here. Large restaurant where you can get a seat even without a reservation. Unfortunately there was a very large group there at the same time as us, which is why everything took a while. The food was okay, there was a sufficient amount of tortillas with our fajitas and the amount of meat/vegetables in the pan was also good. Overall, I would have liked a little more flavor. After rolling I almost only tasted tortilla. The drinks were good, we were lucky and were there for happy hour. I can highly recommend the homemade lemonade.

I used to be a weekly regular customer but it's not what it used to be. 🙏🏼 Certainly good for a unique experience, but not recommended for anything beyond that (birthday, romantic dinner, colleague's evening, etc.). Can relate to the mass clearance recessions. Quantity over quality. You're just a number and you feel it. I prefer a restaurant where I'm served politely and don't have to be under pressure to give up the table after 2 hours. They are not dependent on anyone because they have made a name for themselves with their previous great achievements. And you can feel that...

I have never had such a good Caesar salad. It has been an extraordinary experience. I give a 10 to the Chef and the lady who served me. On my next trip I will visit them and I will be able to taste their dishes.

The employees are very friendly...the bouncers are sometimes a bit difficult :) You could explain to them who pays them the wages (the customer).

It is very hot inside the restaurant, the food lacks flavor although the dishes are very large in portion. To close, they rush you to pay for the service

The service was nice, but difficult to understand, as standard German was only mediocre. The gentleman at the entrance only spoke English. In terms of food, this was the last time I was there. The nachos are made of cardboard, absolutely tasteless, the cheese in the burger is simply not allowed to be called cheese in a cheese country like Switzerland. It was whs. a slice of cheddar, which you can get cut in a bulk package from a major distributor for 2.50 (a slice costs extra, a whopping 3.00). Fries soggy and over salted. Location would be great. A pity!

Unfortunately, I would never eat there again. Very bad price-performance ratio. I wanted to choose the healthiest thing on the menu, so I chose shrimps, rice and vegetables (CHF 42!). Afterwards I had a huge lump in my stomach and sweated all night and hardly slept. The whole day after that I had a stomach ache and everything was swollen and I felt terrible. Far too much oil, which was probably bad, was probably used. It's a shame and way too expensive for this quality.

We didn’t know what type of food we fancied last night so thought we would try Pacifico & weren’t disappointed. My ribs were so flavourful & fell off the bone. These themed perfectly with Bügel beer. The restaurant was busy & the ambiance very upbeat. We made the right choice 😋

The meat burger is better than the chicken and the size is excellent, and the potatoes are an excellent quantity. They also have shrimp with rice, steak, pizza and other items, and the atmosphere is wonderful and large.

Unfortunately, I was really disappointed today as someone who often comes to eat with you 😞 this morning the manager wasn't easy to talk to and a very direct and unsympathetic service employee came along...Unfortunately today I lost all my language how you deal with customers. Last week I had a really good experience with a service employee. It felt like no one was there today :(

The cleanliness is bad, the cups are dirty, and the employees are not welcoming, as if they have a favor over you. Their psychology is in their hearts, and they cannot stand anyone.

I visit Pacifico Restaurant from time to time because I like certain dishes there. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed by the service staff at dinner with my wife this evening. The lady didn't even greet us when we arrived and the first thing she said to us was, you have exactly 10 minutes left to order because the kitchen is closing if you can't do it in 10 minutes there will be nothing to eat. Hello where are we here no decency no respect it was 8:45 p.m. so where are we here. When we got the food, various people were still sitting in the kitchen after 9 p.m. and still received food because the other employees were simply accommodating. Unfortunately I don't have a name for this lady otherwise I would like to publish this because something like that is bottom drawer and she was very cheeky and had absolutely no desire to do this job. Dear Pacifico team, you won't win any guests with employees like this. And I will definitely not visit this restaurant again.

The food is way overpriced, low quality, the rice had a weird taste. No atmospere at all. The quesadillas have a weird sweet taste and the beans as well. Don't recommend at all. We spend 124chf there just to be disaponted.

Water as a mojito and empty plates... As a group of 20 people made a reservation to eat fajitas, we were disappointed by the absent service staff shortly after arriving. Food was pre-ordered, the first thing that came was meat...fifteen minutes later still no tortillas or sauces. We almost never order drinks. The meat is now cold too... Any questions to the staff as well as the chef or chef de service were unsuccessful. Huge disappointment... too bad.

Ambience none existent, service appalling, staff have no idea how to treat guests. Restaurant manager would rather side eye you out instead of coming to the table and taking 5 minutes to find out if we are okay. -Food was really below average(they are not shy with their prices either) Prices high, quality low -When paying. The staff slam the credit card machine down in front of you and still expect a tip. If no tip is given, they will not even give you 5 seconds longer of their time after you tap your card. -No thank you or any questions of our experience even though we left more than 60% of our food and we went straight to the desk to pay. Definitely would not recommend!!!

Pacifico has a very nice atmosphere and here you will find good service. As it seems is always the case, when a restaurant is located inside of a hotel it becomes more expensive than it otherwise would be. This is the case with Pacifico, located in a Renaissance Hotel. Unfortunately I found the food to be lacking in flavor and especially not commensurate with the price. I should say that others' in my party enjoyed their food more than I, so maybe give it a try?

Rude service, they brought the bill to us before we were finished and didn't let us pay separately, the waiter told us he would charge everything to one person and that we should Twint each other...

Unfortunately, once a long time ago I ordered prawns, but it was taken incorrectly and beef was brought... the lady didn't want to take it back... so I had to eat it... The places close to the entrance have a draft and not necessarily comfortable to sit on Otherwise, I'm always happy to come

The service is no longer as attentive... you are treated like "tourists". Food was not good.....raw meat.....Unfortunately we couldn't give any feedback because our waitress never came to our table. We used to stay at Pacifico a lot and felt comfortable.

Chips and dips were very tasty. My Berger was almost raw inside and my companion's Crispy Chicken was sizzled to death. Yes, we could have complained but the place was so full that no one had time. It's a shame, we've had better evenings at Pacifico.
