The tastiest pastries in Lucerne! Wow! Whether quince doughnuts, Berliners, chocolate rolls. You can't go wrong. Unfortunately, the service is striking and friendly. Already noticed several times.

I have never had a cream slice (!) packed in a paper bag in any other pastry shop.

I recently went shopping at the Macchi Bakery and would like to thank all the employees for their kindness. I was served by the branch manager Emila Kazic and was very positively satisfied. She was able to fulfill all my wishes. Great range and very tasty products. I was very fascinated by your positive charisma and friendliness. Bravo keep it up👍👍

Unfortunately I'm disappointed. When I asked about the rest times and the different types of flour in the bread range, they couldn't give me any correct information. Articles that have been written down do not appear to be clearly marked. When I purchased a panini that was located very close to the “50% sign,” I was not given a discount. Another item that was clearly marked as discounted was not correctly collected by the waitress, which is why I had to complain about this. Something like this should happen automatically via the cash register system and not be the responsibility of the customer. I've avoided Macchi for years and given it a few chances again in the last few months. Unfortunately, I won't be shopping there again in the foreseeable future.

Great pastries, great price. Also have discounted food if it was prepared 2+ days ago - still fresh though. Loved this spot.

Products are probably ok, but more mass production. The friendliness of the employees seems fake. Unfortunately I spilled half of my soup. It was cleaned up, but I didn't even say "It could happen" to my x-time apologies. Nobody cared about the fact that I scalded my hand - and there's certainly cold water... Not really accommodating, but the obligatory smile and “Thank you, have a nice day” just as a phrase. A pity!

Bought a chocolate mousse today, wonderfully airy. And the vermicelles were also excellent. Miam....

The staff is very friendly, courteous & helpful. They greet every single customer with a smile. The products are always freshly prepared.

Fresh food made daily. Their foccaia was amazing, tomatoes, zucchini and artichoke hearts. Dessert selections were very good too.

I can see directly into the bakery from my balcony. You won't believe what I saw there the morning before the store opened, starting with bread that was on the floor, touching bread without gloves, touching your hair with gloves and then the bread, Touch rolls, and other baking things and pull the gloves out of your butt pocket and touch the pastries. It's a mess what certain saleswomen allow themselves to do. For my part, I wouldn't even buy one, that's why I give it 1 star

I bought two Ziger donuts and a chocolate S there today. She packed two donuts and a chocolate roll...... 😳. It's just annoying when you don't pack what you want. And it wasn't the first time, so only two stars. (Once I wanted a bread without linseed and what did the bread contain - linseed. 😳)

We bought sandwiches during the break. When my aunt bit into one of the rolls, there was an approx. 5 cm long piece of hard plastic inside (!)... My aunt had to cover all the costs for her injury herself (!) The only answer we received from the “Macchi Bakery”. reads: "I'm sorry, I'm sorry"...

So the prices are great in the evening with the 50% But in the morning it's delicious fresh And the daily specials in a tray are a treat... The salespeople are all superb except one who is a real killjoy because she tells customers especially not to offer me a meal or coffee because I ask passers-by for an offering.... Otherwise the smoothies are full of vitamins and it's a real treat, this fresh one which makes a change from the industrial drinks which torment your intestine...Congratulations to this shop which deserves great success except the pimbèche which asks customers not to pay me..

Excellent choice of sandwiches, bread, salads, juices and desserts. Friendly staff. Takeaway or lunch on site even if there are very few tables.

We came in 18:20 and bought chicken paninis & tuna salad. Both are delicious and reasonably priced. Staffs had great attitude and customer service, even though they were about to close in 10 minutes.

My absolute favorite bakery! Bread, salads, sandwiches and desserts - everything is highly recommended! In addition, the staff is always very friendly. Unfortunately, I no longer live in the city of Lucerne - but when I'm there, I try to make a trip to Macchi!

Macchi-Bäckerei Dessert and sandwich shop The shop has quite a lot of branches. I stopped by to eat before walking to Chapel Bridge. It's a Grab and go type of restaurant, with people coming in and out all the time. Buying and eating together is normal. 1. A sandwich costs about 6.2 CHF (212 baht). There are many fillings, including fish, chicken, and meat. The average price is about 5-8 CHF. 2. Focaccia 3 CHF (109 baht) Bread dough similar to pizza with a nice soft dough filling. I chose vegetable stuffing, including Artichoke Zucchini and tomatoes. Eat hot and delicious. 3. Quinoa Salat CHF 4 (137 baht) Quinoa salad is delicious. It's becoming easier to find it in Thailand. Many shops import them. Chewy, crunchy, delicious.

Best bakery ever. Regular customer for more than 20 years. Butter plait is the best far and wide. Sandwiches are made with love and with lots of sauce and ingredients. Various breads are great. Toblerone lace is just awesome! Friendly staff. Macchi definitely stands out from other large Lucerne bakeries!

Visiting from Canada but familiar with Swiss bakeries. After searching Lucerne's old town I gave up and headed a few blocks away and found Macchi. What a delight! The best Nuss stengle I've every had. Fresh clean taste. Coffee was great too and the staff were patient and friendly. Highly recommended.

Great bakery with delicious baked goods. Personally, I am particularly enthusiastic about St. Gallerbrot. It tastes really great, which is not surprising considering that the company was founded by a St. Gallen native. But maybe that's just a coincidence.
