I ordered a Magherita pizza and it also tasted very good. However, I think the price (9.90) is overpriced for its size.

Would you like a small snack between two customer appointments in the St. Gallen, Herisau and Gossau triangle? é Voila: Panetarium! In the past (I don't go there so often) you had to laboriously go to the old town to get a lunch. Now you can park comfortably in front of the door and even have space at the table to do some office work. Great, even the noise level is okay! Leberkäs (meat cheese) was fine. Staff very friendly. Unfortunately no sweet mustard ;-)

The service is very bad, no competent employees and also unfriendly. I got a roll and paid via Twint, the employee told me that the payment didn't work and that I should try again. I made the payment again and the amount was deducted twice. When I complained about this, the employee just said that she couldn't do anything now. An impudence!!!!!!!!

Today there were no croissants ready at 9:15 a.m., for the umpteenth time. 4 or 5 employees on duty who repeatedly fail to have the goods ready at peak times. It can't be that difficult to set up a stick early in the morning and then bake it continuously. Luckily there is still the Beck Knopfel, I will do the rest of the route every Sunday in the future. I've tried again several times now, but they can't do it.

I just bought a horse beef sandwich and can hardly bite it because it's not fresh, it must have been a few days ago. You expect more from a pastry shop

Had it on Sunday morning July 30th. had an accident on the train station square in Herisau and was well looked after by the attentive and helpful staff. I would like to thank her again for that! This is no longer a given these days. Unfortunately, in my shock, I didn't remember the friendly woman's name.

Hello, now I have found the time to concretize the review. In general, the range of breads and snacks is good. I also think that many people are quite satisfied with the taste. However (my opinion doesn't have to be true for everyone.) For example, I find the small pretzel egg rolls to be a bit overcrowded with salad. But I miss taste in the egg mixture. I find these to be very lightly seasoned, and I personally miss some fresh chives or something similar. What I really like is the Schnützelbrot. For me, despite the price, the design of the product and the taste are okay. I also find the pricing of coffee drinks to be relatively high. Because water prices are not that high, I find the cold moccafinos (which contain a lot of water) particularly expensive. Depending on the location, I have now noticed that it occasionally tastes more or less like water after frothing/crushing. Last time I had (in my opinion) almost no taste of coffee in the drink, which I found a bit of a shame.

Good products in and of themselves, but very strange philosophy that the products are not written on. As a customer, I would like to know how much a product costs without having to ask questions. All other bakeries can do it too... they make it too easy for themselves. After a long search, I saw a "miniature stand" poster on the counter (perhaps a large magnifying glass would be good) where at least the large breads are listed. Of course it's great, you can ask for whatever you want, but it's not customer-oriented at all. A pity.

The best cappuccino in Herisau! We often go there just to have a coffee/cappuccino. Also very nice staff. Highly recommended for a visit if you have to change trains in Herisau or are looking for a place to have a quick, relaxed coffee.

Super great and delicious products. Whether it's a roll, bread, sandwich, salad, ... everything is very tasty. Most of the employees (with a few exceptions) (especially an employee at the branch under review, rather tall and with light brown curls. She would have earned an “employee award”! :-)) are also very friendly. The three, or deduction of two stars, is only due to the price. Sandwiches and salads in particular are incredibly expensive. Also compared to other bakeries in the area. Sure, the locations at the train stations probably charge a lot of rent. The increased food prices are clearly not a problem, as are electricity, social benefits for employees and wages, etc. But still, for me personally, it is very much at the upper limit that I unfortunately only get something from the Panetarium “in an extreme emergency”.

Another price increase! Self-service espresso costs just CHF 4.80. Reason enough to avoid the restaurant in the future. What a pity…

Whenever I drive through Appenzell I can't resist the best almond peak here.

I find the prices for coffee (drinks) extremely high for self-service. You could do this better.

I drank a wonderful chocolate melange there and ate one of the best almond croissants. I've never had such a delicious almond croissant! There are other delicious pastries here. However, if you like salty foods you will certainly enjoy various sandwiches and salads - veggies are also welcome. Coffee, latte macchiato, choccochino, teas, minerals and much more make your heart beat faster. Of course everything to go too. The prices are not cheap, but justified. Have fun on your next visit there.

Best coffee and sandwiches in the whole of Herisau! I really like being there and enjoy it at any time. But because of exorbitant prices, I unfortunately can't afford to always be there as I would like. Prices have risen dramatically in recent years, which I find really unfortunate. It ruins your reputation.

Very nice, table service is not a priority

The branch looks good, but unfortunately the outside is great, the inside is bad... On the one hand, one of the worst coffees I've ever had, surprising since they have a real barista coffee machine. I've tried a lot of things, from Café Creme to espresso to cappuccino, everything tastes terrible. Baked goods are okay but very expensive (small pretzel with cream cheese almost 5 CHF??), the bakeries in and from SG are much better AND cheaper. I'm surprised that people here in Herisau expect prices like those in Zurich. Overall not recommended.

In the afternoon at 2.09 quark pretzel is out... you just have to take salmon and it's really extremely fatty never again...

I see room for improvement in the operation, as the order is rather random. If you repeatedly get the impression that you are being overlooked, it can be a bit unpleasant.

Mixed feelings about this place. Visited in the afternoon and the selection of pastries was very limited. Coffee comes at prices you would expect maybe downtown Zurich. We were three people with coffee amd pastries and didn't receive a tray, so I had to carry cup per cup to the table.

Unfortunately, the saleswomen are always very stressed, even if there are few people in the store. I don't think it's great that I don't automatically receive a tray when I order cakes, coffee and water... it does have trays, but you have to know where they are and organize them yourself. It's a shame because the bread is really great.

Super tasty and fresh baked goods - the employees can also warm up the baguettes etc. upon request or prepare them fresh if they are no longer available. Highly recommended, despite the busy traffic at the train station, fast and friendly service

I think the drinks and food are too expensive because it's self-service, and the things across the street should also be cheaper. Plus in summer it's too hot inside (no air conditioning or ventilation), there are no umbrellas outside and the tables are often very dirty. And if there are a lot of guests, you would have to assign staff to prepare the warm products. But I can only speak highly of the products.

In the bistro bakery it not only smells like freshly baked goods, the various offerings also taste delicious. The coffee is served hot, is strong and wakes up travelers even in sleep mode. Due to the quality and freshness of the products on offer, the price-performance ratio is also good. The only “problem” actually seems to be the oven, which is basically in the sales area. This means it gets quite warm, which is particularly pleasant in winter, on windy or cold, wet days.

Coffee's are great. Unfortunately, it is overheated here all year round. There are various flies near the sales counter. Not particularly helpful if you as a customer want to buy bread or something sweet with your coffee.
