In my opinion, one of the best burgers in Geneva at the moment. Just one question: the cheese, perhaps it would be even more balanced and harmonious with a softer cheese with a less pronounced taste?

I think I'm very lucky, when I come there are often few people, the music is not loud, everything is in place to enjoy the moment to come. I was reluctant to go through the door for a long time, the concept and the price were questionable. But then… I understand better, the quality of the products can be felt in every bite. This might be the best burger I've ever eaten. If after having finished you want to eat it again it will not be because of the quantity which is certainly perfect, but certainly to prolong the astonishment and pleasure caused by this fondant bun filled with everything that one could expect more simple and best in a smashed. After trying, a number of smash burgers outside Switzerland as well as some in Geneva more precisely. I was very pleasantly surprised by both the place, the rather raw decoration and the ultra minimalist menu. We know what we're eating there and the product doesn't deceive. Everything is homemade, from the bread to the sauces, the products are local, an appreciable thing for a restaurant of this type. The service was very pleasant, we were served relatively quickly despite the fact that the restaurant was full. The wine list, atypical for this type of place, also appealed to us. Great references, some of which are difficult to find elsewhere. 5 stars for this burger restaurant that I would definitely visit again.

For the moment best smash burger in Geneva. The products are fresh and homemade, the balance of the burger is simply perfect and we really liked the selection of natural wines that we were recommended. Small bonus again for wonderful fries!

Papabou is a fairly modern restaurant with a fairly limited menu but which certainly allows it to remain more concise. The burger was actually fabulous, but I found that the price was questionable given that the burger alone without the fries still costs 14 CHF….. Papabou is still a restaurant that I recommend for gourmets and for those who have the budget

A really nice address in the middle of Plainpalais: friendly atmosphere, high quality products (excellent smashed burgers and fries and homemade sauces) and a nice selection of beers and natural wines. I went there with family and children were welcome. There was even a veggie option for my wife. First in a long series of visits. Recommended and well done!

solid 3, smash burgers are good but missing that classic ketchup mustard. not mentionning the exorbitant pricing that in my opinion is highly influenced by the fact that they sell natural wine. Nice selection of wine a part that the closing when sold out doesnt really work when you still wanna enjoy the wine…

If you want to eat healthy and balanced I advise you to go to toasted because despite the fact that it is toast with various foods on it, these toasts fill our stomachs well!

I highly recommend this restaurant!! We came to toasted one evening with a group of friends to taste the famous toasts. The result is hearty toast with sought-after flavors and a polished presentation (I highly recommend the avocado lacustre). All around a little natural Geneva wine that made everyone agree. The service is relaxed and warm and we even ended the evening sipping delicious cocktails in a very pleasant festive atmosphere! I will have great pleasure coming back to share a good time at toasted!
