Peperoncini 1313 in Udligenswil

There were three of us there in the evening. Location is a mixture of lounge, bar and... restaurant is saying too much. The concept is not clear, it's a shame. Unfortunately it was not possible to change the dishes. When we ordered we were first forgotten and then skillfully ignored. Unfortunately the pizzas didn't taste good at all :( It's a shame - we've been driving past the restaurant for years and were looking forward to a pleasant evening.

Starting with the drinks. Extremely mediocre and heavily overpriced. Pizza was plain, boring and made without love. Having realized this after not even 3 bites, I could not wait to just finish and get it over with. Dining at a restaurant should definitely not bring out these feelings. Will definitely not come back.

I don't know what exactly is going on but the boss (manager?) was publicly yelling at the girls working and throwing plates around the kitchen. They're all visibly distressed and in constant fear of something going wrong. I'd avoid going to this restaurant just because whoever is in charge has microphallus energy and ruining the whole atmosphere.

Very good pizza, tasty. Better call to reserve a table with a view

A very nice, modern and cozy restaurant in Udligenswil with a view of the mountains. We had pizza which was excellent. It was very crispy, well topped and came on a preheated plate. So far so good. Even though it wasn't full and there were two waitresses on duty, it took 20 minutes before anyone came to our table. We asked ourselves why the girls were so unfocused. We witnessed the manager (black hair, early/mid 30s, short, in a business shirt) shouting at the waitresses so that the whole restaurant could hear it. He behaved so badly that I wanted to send him as a laborer to the nearest construction site. No further comment....

The food was good but the service was a disaster! The staff Danny and Caroline seemed very upset and also confused us. First the lady Caroline came to serve us. Since we hadn't decided yet, we ordered the drinks from her. She reacted annoyed and said: 'Haven't you decided yet? I come again later!' and with a very cheeky tone. Afterwards Danny came and we had to re-order everything we had already ordered. We understand that you have to ask something, but the fact that Caroline came again so that we had to repeat our order AGAIN is very rude. Instead of the employees writing down the order, we had to tell them multiple times what we ordered. They didn't bring us extra plates so we wouldn't dirty the tables so much. Additionally, the chairs were dirty with leftover food from other guests! We just wanted to leave! I understand that service work is strenuous - I also work in the catering industry - but I'm always friendly and do a good job! In the end the staff even added something to the bill even though we didn't receive it! We gave Danny our opinion at the end and he laughed very provocatively and gave us a disrespectful look! We used to come here often, but then we stopped coming because we moved away. I'm very glad I didn't go there anymore!

Take Away was a huge disappointment. We spontaneously drove by at 6:00 p.m. to get two pizzas and they sent us away again because they were apparently busy or there were too many guests in the restaurant. But the restaurant was anything but full. Lack of understanding how to advertise it on the website and then not actually being offered. They didn't even ask us if we were willing to wait there for a certain amount of time. They simply said…. Not possible. The ambience seems nice but the service and hospitality was a disaster and absolutely not decent when we asked whether it was actually possible to get two pizzas.

Enjoyed pizza very tasty, great in taste and texture (dough), perfect thickness. Moderate prices (what I saw - was invited). Fast and friendly service. Noise level is absolutely reasonable, so conversation at the table is very possible. All in all, I would love to come back (it was my first visit)!

Very nice Italian restaurant with a great ambience (including music). The pizzas from the stone oven were really very good and the dough of the pizzas was very airy, light and soft.🏆 Parking spaces are also plentiful. We will definitely come by again to have lunch here. Mille grazie 🇮🇹 😉👍

We had a lovely evening at Peperoncini 1313. Our waitress Serge did a great job, very friendly and accommodating. The food (salad, pizza della nonna, tiramisù) was very tasty and our dogs were also welcome. We'd love to come back :-)

The food and cocktails are really good and tasty! I still see a lot of potential in the service team. We would have liked more attention, we drank quickly and were not asked if we wanted anything else. Also very unfortunate when I have to point out three times that I want to pay, the restaurant was not busy at that time.

Nice atmosphere, very good pizza!. The boss, however, would probably not be missing. Loudly complains about absent staff and treats employees condescendingly. The young man in service did a very good job, as did the young man at the bar. Friendly, competent. In contrast to the boss, who didn't even allow someone picking up the bag for the salad that had already been prepared, she simply threw it down and then said that they could take it with them without the bag, that they had to save costs. She leaves behind little competence or passion for the restaurant industry.

For a Swiss restaurant I would say it’s a great place. Not for an Italian restaurant though (it is not surprising since they offer Hawaiian pizza as well). The mozzarella on the pizza is more like cheese and not actual mozzarella and it obviously doesn’t taste as good as the real one. Service was quite slow for a pizza and a drink, no coffee nor dessert and we spent 2,5 hours. Convenient location but too noisy as there are lots of cars passing by.

Delicious pizza on Sunday afternoon. The space on the terrace was nice and sunny with a beautiful view of the mountains.

The blonde boss was extremely unfriendly and is by no means customer-oriented. At that time she was also the boss of the Old Wild West (Mall of Switzerland). The store went under there too when she took over. The Google reviews of Old Wild West alone say enough about this person. The food and ambience is very good at Peperoncini. But as long as this waitress is working there I will definitely not come back.

Pizza is always great. Price is right and be sure to use whole grain dough!

Stopped by, after seeing the place on the road. Decent pizzas and amazing view to nearby mountains. I think that prices can be little bit cheaper, but again its an avrege. For sure pizzas way better than in UK.

Great service but everything happened much too quickly. I ordered an aperitif and wanted to enjoy it together first, but the pizza was already on the table and the red wine was brought along with everything. According to the waiter, the boss wanted it that way! Never with me again

Very nice location with a view of the Rigi and Mount Pilatus. Very friendly attentive service. Very fine wood-fired pizzas with different doughs such as wholemeal etc. Recommended 🙂

Pizzas are great, large selection, but unfortunately there isn't much else on the menu apart from generous salads. But we're always happy to come back!

The recommended wine was also top notch. ++ When we made the reservation we wanted to sit outside and if the weather was bad we wanted to sit inside --> a table was reserved for us on the terrace and in the restaurant + First order went quite quickly -- very long waiting time for food and if you wanted to order something else -- the smallest (11 year old) was served his meal and also his dessert at a considerable distance from the rest of the company - Staff felt very stressed, no smiles or anything like that, a shame

Unfortunately, because of my egg intolerance, this is far too rare and I can usually only eat the same foods. I can recommend this great restaurant to all people with intolerances, intolerances and allergies. You will be taken seriously there and will also receive competent information about the individual dishes. I would very, very much like to come back.

Ordered 4 pizzas at 6:40 p.m. Goods arrived at 7 p.m. and still have to wait 25 minutes. Then finally got pizza, 2 was wrong! We took 3 with us and these were also margaritas but they smelled like meat. This was probably a mistake and the meat was quickly taken away. It's too bad that such a nice restaurant can't make decent pizza. Dough tomato sauce and cheese, well that's very difficult 🤣 Even if the food is free, I won't come here again.

I come here often, very nice location, pizza is good too. Unfortunately the service is getting worse, too few staff for the amount of people in the restaurant. The staff tends to get annoyed... The boss should rethink his personnel ratio here!

Have eaten here a few times. The pizzas and the ambience were always great. Service was always very bad - several items ordered were forgotten, dishes were not cleared away, there was a long wait until you could pay... what a shame!

We always enjoy going there for pizza. Unfortunately, the new staff is no longer what it used to be. A young woman is always so listless when serving and in service. Which I find very unfortunate. An older gentleman, on the other hand, serves people very courteously. But the food is great as always.

Unfortunately, I now have to massively revise my rating from 2 years ago (5 stars). Food and location still great. Unfortunately, the quality of service has been declining more and more recently. Wait for someone to ask for drinks, wait for drinks to come, wait for food to be taken, wait for food to come. A good hour passed before the pizza. It's no longer fun. Staff is friendly, but seems completely disorganized. We like to give several chances but won't be coming back in the near future. What a pity. I hope management recognizes the need for action

Never again!!! Reserved for 8 p.m. and had a drink at the bar first. After 25 minutes we got our table and were left sitting for another 20 minutes without eating or drinking. Sometimes there were up to 5 people behind the counter. We left the restaurant at 8:45 p.m. and no one responded in particular. If I could I would give minus stars so often I have given this restaurant a chance. First it was black pizzas, then rotten tuna and now this... I was there for the last time today.

Actually a great restaurant with a great ambience. Recently the staff has been overwhelmed. Tamara is a nice ray of hope in the restaurant. She does it great 💛🤗.

Food quality was good. View and furnishings were attractive and beautiful. Unfortunately, the service was not competent... reacted incompetently when paying when we wanted to split the bill and not everyone gave a tip. After we paid, the waitress just said goodbye to us with a “bye”.

We went for an aperitif and made a reservation for 4 p.m. When ordering wine we were able to order 2 different wines. The first one had a cork taste and another one was not available. After we ordered a second wine, we were informed that the boss with the wine cellar key was unfortunately not there and that unfortunately a second bottle could not be ordered. This is unacceptable for a restaurant/bar. The service also left a lot to be desired. It's a shame for this lovely restaurant.

Eating with friends The 1st and last time. First we ordered drinks. I whiskey sour, well the glass half full and the rest filled with egg whites. Not drinkable and not a whiskey sour.! So I asked for a spoon and a glass to remove the ice white. It was received and delivered in an unfriendly manner. Then the starter... I ordered Panini Curdo Rucola, I got a rocket salad. When I pointed this out to the waitress, she said "I didn't understand" in broken German. She then rolled her eyes and always looked at us very annoyed. After that we got a new service lady. I told him that I didn't want to upset the other service lady. She said yes she is here now. So an admission that the other person was angry. The pizza was very tasty, really great. But unfortunately that doesn't make the rest any better. It's a shame because the restaurant would actually be nice But I still say thank you

Once and never again. The food was great, but if we hadn't ordered everything ourselves, we would have been sitting at the table 2 hours later without drinks or forgot something to eat. You have to constantly point out to the staff that you want to order something and once you do, you wait forever.

I go to this place purely for their tea. Served in Japanese cast iron kettles, timed perfectly. This place offers a really nice selection of unusual loose leaf tea. The whole tea experiance is truly above and beyond. Highly recommended. Yes they do food too and the pizza is great but for me this place is all about the tea.

We've known Peperoncini since it opened, but we've never had such bad service. When we reserved the table on a weekday afternoon, no one picked up the phone. Nothing worked online either. I had to go there to make a reservation, the restsurant was empty and the staff was there. You wouldn't have heard the phone. On the evening of our visit to the restaurant, we waited 35 minutes until a gentleman from the service came to our table, not a friendly word! The bottle of wine with a cork is poured without us being able to taste it. The pizza comes before the salad, is taken back and warmed up three quarters of an hour later and served again in a sticky state. Just sad and unfortunate!

Nice place and decent food but horrendous service. They were understaffed and even though they don’t offer much more than pizzas it took forever to get served. Once we did, the plates were literally thrown on the table in a very rude manner. Part of our order was never delivered and we ended up cancelling it. Not recommended.

Miserable! Over 70 (seventy) minutes waiting time for a pizza!!! The waitress tried to be friendly, but made cheap excuses - like the pizzaiolo had to eat something himself first... (?!) Never again!

I had dinner there with my wife last week. We ordered an aperitif platter as a starter and then two pizzas. The service was very friendly, but it took a relatively long time for the aperitif platter to arrive. They also forgot cheese on the plate. I kindly pointed this out to the service staff during the meal. They said they would bring it immediately. However, it never reached us. When they brought the pizzas, she apologized and said the appetizer was on the house. The pizza was ok and we went home satisfied.

When we called (the time of the call was around 7:10 p.m.) they said “we are full but you can come over.” 30 minutes later we found ourselves in front of an empty interior. Funny... We made ourselves comfortable, ordered two Aperols and then two pizzas. 40 minutes later a pizza and a tomato and mozzarella salad arrived. In my opinion, a pizza takes about 2 minutes in a wood-fired oven, after which it is burned. Conclusion: never go there again, service is unprofessional and you don't understand them well.
