Pepito in Zürich

As a Zurich resident, I have known the Pepito Original for years, first in Niederdorf and now for a long time at Sächsilüteplatz. I got another Pepito today and that was the last time... Bread is pure mush, you have the feeling of biting into a soft block of flour or the bread is such mush that you don't even need teeth to eat it. In addition, the bread is still completely tasteless...It used to be crispy fresh baguette bread. 13 francs is a disgrace for this miserable quality

The smallest and most expensive Pepito in the world. 4 stars deducted in all categories because you are just so stingy and overpriced. For that price I get a whole menu at an Asian takeaway on Langstrasse. Rip-off and typical for Zurich, where every fourth person is a millionaire and you can afford the most outrageous prices because of the tourists and location.

Disappointed, last time ate a few months ago and was impressed with the roast beef at Pepito. That time the bread was half the size and hardly any meat in it and the saleswoman claimed it had always been like that and for 14.-

Needed a quick take away as it was our last night in Zurich. We had 2 incredible hot dogs with the works and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly.

My guilty pleasure! This is my favourite take away food: beef pepito, I order it really spicy and they never disappoint me. The bread is toasted, the meat perfect, I get loads of spice and always end up very happy. By the way, this is the ORIGINAL Pepito that used to be in Niederdorf.

Terrible mulled wine. It was brownish and no longer reddish. It tasted awful. The mulled wine had probably been in the pot for weeks and had been heated several times.

Great pommes! Very good food in general for a takeaway place. I'm sad that I'd never tried it for years. Highly recommended. They also have really good gelato. 🎉
