Traditional Japanese food born from local products from our region, I love it! It’s the only restaurant I know that does this and it was simply delicious, everything is homemade. We went there on the last Friday of the month in the evening for the famous ramen evening, it was a treat. Be careful, you have to register, places are limited but it’s definitely worth the detour! I highly recommend this restaurant 😋😋

A very appreciable Japanese cuisine which revives this district of Renens. Fresh ingredients, well prepared and a pleasant visual presentation. For lunch and dinner, the menu is adapted and the prices are correct for the quantity. The drinks menu is wide and original, you can discover new, refreshing drinks. In short, Perilla is a new address that is worth the detour. Renens needed this! Small downside would possibly be the hours which could be a little more flexible to consider a later closure.

I've been going there every day for some time and here is my objective opinion: The products are always fresh, and the quality is always there. The Bento is well stocked and enough for dinner and there is always a vegetarian option. The price is well worth it. I highly recommend.

This was a great place for a healthy lunch in the middle of the week. The bentos are carefully prepared, with several locally-sourced ingredients, the staff was great and very patient. Some may find it lacks a little variety, but it keeps things efficient, and with a new bento every week, there's always a good reason to come back. It's not very easy to spot this place from the outside: if you're going by car, you won't be able to tell it's a japanese-cuisine café. I really hope this place becomes more popular! The only regrettable thing I would point out is the schedule of this place. Usually it's only open on weekdays, from 9am to 5pm. So unless you work nearby, it will be tough to visit this place often. I almost wish it opened a little later and remained open until 6pm, or that it skipped one of the weekdays to be open on a Saturday or Sunday instead. But there's probably a good reason for the current schedule.

Perilla Café is a great discovery! It's great to find restaurants with other types of cuisines right next to Renens train station. I was delighted with the dining experience: the bentos were delicious and carefully prepared, showcasing the authentic flavors of Japanese cuisine and local produce. I warmly recommend!
