Very delicious food for very reasonable price. The service went smoothly, no delays. Food was served within 15 minutes. So delicous, we ordered another plate😊

The best pho I have ever had in Zurich! I took a bun bo hue and the broth was very delicious. The dessert was sticky rice with Taro, homemade and tasty. For the service, it was very very warm service, I had a great lunch there. I really suggest all the pho lovers to try!

We had Pho Bo and dumplings - both simple yet super delicious. And the service was extremely kind and welcoming. Highly recommend!

I'm not too sure why they got such a high rating. This is below what I would expect from a vietnamese restaurant- and i have eaten great vietnamese food. Service was good, the lady was nice. Food was salty and or too sweet, no balance of flavours. We tried Pho Mai on previous days and that was far a better tasting menu. It's ashame how they have taken away the true traditional viet classics such as pork chops/chicken on rice and turned it into something that is not great. Their beef stew was salty and more curry like than a stew. The bun bo hue was below par, watery with no essence or taste. Coffee was..meh.

If you are a wheelchair user, be sure to call ahead and reserve a table at the Patere. Unfortunately there is no wheelchair parking space in front of the door (approx. 300m away, but two in a row). Unfortunately there is no wheelchair toilet (I didn't ask for one). But the staff is very friendly and the food is very tasty (the picture with the summer roll is confusing > there are two pieces shown but there is only one on the plate). I can highly recommend the rice noodle - shrimp - chicken soup. Super fine👍

Pho with Swiss beef 🍜 TAKE AWAY Soup and remaining ingredients were packaged separately. Warm up the soup at home, then put everything in and enjoy!

My favorite Vietnamese restaurant. The nicest and most attentive service in Zurich! Lukewarm pasta salad with tofu is a hit and lots of original stuff too!

An amazing Vietnamese restaurant with lovely people! We were greeted and seated very quickly and served very fast. This wonderful restaurant serves Vietnamese staples - right with the little pots of sauces. It took me right back to my time spent tracking through from the north to the south. I was delighted to find Banh Cuon and Morning Glory on the menu! All the food tastes fresh and made with love. The eiskaffee came with a glass of water, which I appreciate. All the dishes were wonderful and for a fair (Swiss) price. Although there is one thing: their Tom Kha mit pouletfleisch … oh my… You ABSOLUTELY need to try it. I have yet to find a better execution of this dish. It was a truly beautiful flavour bomb 💣! The atmosphere was also well set, because of the friendly service and wonderful Asian music in the background. If I was nitpicking, I’d only would love to see more of their plants surrounding tables, to really get that cosy feeling of Vietnam here. Nonetheless, Pho50 is a gem in Zurich.

The broth of pho bo was disgusting... it tasted like the chef was trying to cover the taste of instant pho powder by adding excessive amounts of fish sauce and sugar. 25.50 CHF for a bowl of instant pho, it was way over priced - I've had much better pho at lower prices in Zurich and definitely will not be returning. 2 stars instead of one as the meat, noodles and herbs were fine, just the broth was disgusting.

The food is always fresh and well cooked, the homemade drinks are made with love and the staff is very polite. I can really recommend it.

Have been travelling for 2 weeks so the family are looking for a place who can provide some kind of soup. Well, this Pho place is just right down the street. The host is very kind and the Pho is very good.

Healing food in the middle of Zurich. We got Bun Bo Hue, Fried Egg Noodles w Beef. Perfect broth, and nice portions. Noodles tasted like fire.

Sensational Vietnamese, fresh, cheap, friendly service!

This Vietnamese restaurant is ideally located if you are planning a visit/concert at the nearby Volkshaus. Solid and tasty Vietnamese dishes are offered here. From classics like Phở bò to Bún riêu, there is also beer Saigon. We had 2x Bún thịt xào (rice noodle salad with beef, pickled vegetables, peanuts, fish sauce, coriander, spearmint and lettuce) and 1x Banh Mi (Vietnamese sandwich). The taste was absolutely fine and the service was friendly and attentive. We will be back and can recommend Pho 50 without hesitation.

It's 22.5 pieces of beef, and the soup is thick and good. I also ordered fried shrimp to share, and I ended up eating all the shrimp, including the head and tail, and it was delicious! For dessert, I recommend sweet Vietnamese iced coffee!

The food was delicious and I really liked Pho here. We ate appetizer to dessert and all were fine. The staff was very friendly. One star less because the portion of Pho was quite small.

Food gets 3 points from me, chicken & spring rolls were unfortunately dry and the rice flour pancake was also very hard/brittle. The nice lady who served us was absolutely world class! Friendly, competent, helpful and always smiling. Therefore +2 stars!!!

Great place to eat lunch at. The pork in the bahn mi melts in your mouth and the baguette is crispy. The staff is also very polite and attentive. Bathroom is clean. Will gladly come again!

Not bad. But I expected more after all the praising (google reviews). I had a Vietnamese omelette (rice flour base), the omelette itself was deep-fried crispy - texturewise a strong contrast to the filling, (stirfried or steamed?) chicken and prawns on a bed of mung bean sprouts. All this generously added up with crispy salad leaves, carrots and the classic herbs (mint and coriander). The sauce to dip was okay. I was a bit disappointed of the seasoning all together. The chicken was very straightforward, almost bland. The shrimps had more flavour, just because their original taste is a bit more prominent. It was not bad, but did not level up to the rich or complex flavours I experienced in other Vietnamese kitchens. Next time I will try another menu, perhaps a pho. They looked very promising, and the people made happy faces while digging into the bowls.. The portions were generous. Very friendly and attentive service. Nice familiar and relaxed atmosphere.

This is the best banh mi in Zurich. Trust me I am a banh mi connoisseur. They make their own bread and put a lot of herbs in it. Get the pork! It is very juicy. You just have to ask for it to be spicy if you like it spicier than Swiss people. The pho is amazing too, along with everything else.

What a pleasant surprise. I was a bit reluctant to eat here, because the plain green neon sign outside doesn't necessarily scream high quality. Luckily that's the only thing wrong with this restaurant. The food is amazing and the staff is so friendly, they even gave us free cookies while we waited for our take-away. Pho 50, please change that ugly green sign at the front, but keep everything else as it is!

We ate here today and it was delicious! Not overpriced for Zurich and very friendly service. What more do you want? 😊 We will be back.

Why travel far when there is one of the delicious Asian restaurants here in Switzerland. With specialties from Southeast Asia such as Vietnam, you will find a large selection of delicious dishes and specialties here. In a clean atmosphere, the food tastes even more delicious and is also inexpensive. My favorite is Pho Bo (flat rice noodles with beef fillet in a tasty, spicy soup, with fresh vegetables such as bean sprouts and mint leaves)
