Pier 34 in St. Moritz

The food is very good, the staff treatment is spectacular. They have Spanish-speaking staff, especially a very nice Colombian girl who explained everything to us and was very very nice.

Warm environment. Top service and super friendly staff. Come back for dinner on another occasion.

I came here with some friends for a day adventure... slightly high prices but considering the place it's okay... very good food, very short waiting times and very kind staff. If I ever come back to these parts I will come back 💪

I was with 4 friends in this restaurant The truth is that our expectations were not very good since we spent several days in St. Moritz and every time we entered a restaurant it was an odyssey since our German is very limited, not to mention insistent. We entered by chance since it is in an idyllic place with unbeatable views We entered, they greeted us and asked us to wait a few minutes while they put our table in order, our waiter brought us the menu and I think he sensed that we did not understand at all why you were translating the menu with your cell phone, he approached us timidly and asked us where we were from and I told her Spanish, to our surprise Anne brought us a girl who spoke Spanish perfectly which was a very pleasant surprise for us since apart from speaking Spanish perfectly she was very kind and helpful The food recommendations were excellent since we had been eating things for several days that, because we didn't know the language, were not what we wanted. I have nothing more to say than excellent things about this restaurant and the service provided by the staff, highlighting that of Miss Anne. Without a doubt we will return Very good for having at least one person who speaks Spanish 10 out of 10

1 star and that is being incredibly generous. Entered the establishment to a member of staff that seemed immediately aggravated we had even walked through the door. I have never been received anywhere the way I was last night. He asked for our reservation name, interrupted and attempted to guess and then waved his hand in a gesture to hurry us…it was 19:30, there were 2 tables being used at the time, with 8 guests in total…the waiting staff were not rushed off their feet in any excuse to be so rude and agitated the moment we walked in. There was one more table used after us by another 2 gents, that were clearly treated the same way judging by the raised eyebrows and facial expressions each time their table was approached. There was a strange atmosphere in the restaurant all night, almost like the waiting staff and kitchen had had an argument moments before we walked in?? I am an annual, regular visitor to St Moritz and I have been go this restaurant many times previously and will usually go 2/4 times during my 2 week visit. It has been welcoming, busy and a fun dining experience; in no way will I be returning and nothing will convince me otherwise. And while I may only be a single patron that may spend on average 150-200chf each visit, this will be money that will now go elsewhere. If this continues, and other diners have this experience, this restaurant won’t be open much longer. I’m sure the other 10 patrons that evening might agree if they had the same experience. As I say, 1 star is generous and I will never return.

The restaurant is nice by the lake. The food is top notch and delicious. The best way to order is via QR code. The personal service brought the wrong or too little out of three orders, twice. The bar staff can't serve you because they don't speak German, but they just don't give an answer and look confused and turn away. A little strange but okay.

It wasn't that bubbly and the barley soup was more of a slush than a soup.

Nice restaurant right on Lake St. Moritz. The burgers were very good and the service was good too. Small talk was possible with the staff as well as good service when it came to food and drinks. The mulled wine was very good and requests were responded to well and we were asked again and again about what we had. All in all a good experience in the mid-price segment

Roesti was burned. Invoice contained 2 dishes from other table. Better to check the Invoice before you pay.

Alex our server was excellent. He was the only waiter on duty on the evening 31st January and was amazing at serving a busy restaurant without any delays to food or drinks orders thank you Alex

Ordered many times from Pier 34. Was very confused tonight while eating my French fries and realizing that it was sweat. I couldn’t quite understand what was happening but than i looked closely and liked one of the fried and indeed it was sugar. I couldn’t believe when i tasted the sugar. Burger was very good as always but pizza was a bit to burned on the bottom. And of course still shocked about the sweet sugar fries

To get straight to the point: yesterday's visit was a big disappointment, even if the burger was great. We reserved a table online. A quiet table in the corner of the restaurant was planned, but unfortunately it was still occupied when we arrived. Then a back and forth started, ultimately a place at the bar with constant running to the kitchen. The placement was a bit incomprehensible to us because about 10 minutes later the restaurant was almost empty and we could have chosen a nice place at the window. Oh well ... But back to the table at the bar: Since we had to wait a little long to order, we ordered online, which would actually be a great thing, but we got everything almost at the same time, first drinks, then the Aperol Spritz (Apero ( !!)) and actually intended as a cozy introduction) and at the same time also the salad. We then pointed out that we didn't want the burger at the same time! On top of that, the service was rather unfriendly (with one exception: a blonde, smaller woman) Unfortunately the good burger couldn't save the evening!! It's a shame, it was the last visit for us!

The atmosphere is very nice and with the big windows it’s very bright and welcoming. Besides that, that was more or less the only positive thing. Food was only average, sadly the burgers were almost cold and my chicken was not cooked trough. I had to send it back to the kitchen. Someone ordered salad as a starter and burger, but they served both at the same time. (?) The waitress did only speak italian, a standard ordering procedure in german was not possible. I know it’s difficult to get good staff, but that’s the least one can expect. There wasn’t even an apology for the uncooked chicken… We left without desert and unfortunately won’t visit again.

(There weren't many people and those who were there already had food on the table) before that we didn't ask for drinks.. My sister-in-law had ordered a mixed salad.. but received a leaf salad.. and a leaf salad was also charged on the bill.. staff not attentive.. the wrong one was taken I ordered a Büntner barley soup.. the soup had too much cream in it.. (my personal opinion) it was a bit bland in taste Halfway through the soup I had a curly black hair in the soup A NO-GO!!! by the way the cook had black curly hair The staff started clearing up before everyone had finished eating For the main course I ordered beef fillet with fries and pepper sauce The main courses came relatively quickly However, I ordered my meat medium rear or English The meat was seared on the outside and really ICE COLD on the inside I sent the plate back to have the meat warmed up or “improved”. After sending the plate back three times because the meat was still cold, I gave up and ate the meat cold The pepper sauce was way too hot and way too thick... I really like pepper.. but this was way too much.. not edible After we made the staff aware of what we were missing and wasn't ok.. unfortunately nothing was offered or the price was accommodated.. the employee's statement was "I can't do anything, I'm not the boss" As we were leaving... the staff came back and started taking glasses etc. in the middle of it. to clear away... a bit disrespectful In addition, two people from the staff had a loud discussion in front of the guests in the restaurant.. inappropriate.. such a shame Conclusion: The restaurant does not meet the standards of St. Moritz... considering that it is located on the lake... it is really disappointing...

Pier 34 is a must, and simply never fails to impress! My boyfriend and I have always enjoyed a delicious dinner over our past 4 visits to St. Moritz. I can recommend their appetizer broth/soup, their fantastic burgers with coleslaw, or a fun dessert like a coup dänemark and apple rings. Alex did a very good job in serving us. Hope you all have an amazing time!

Fantastic service. This place does get busy and there is a long wait, so best reserve. I did and had no issues. I even put in a request for a table with a lake side view. And they delivered, despite it being busy and I’m a solo traveler. It was cozy and welcoming. The waitress even said happy birthday to me as I’d mentioned it on the booking. I ordered the classic burger with bacon. And it was lovely. Just what I needed after a long train ride and cold frozen lake walk. Absolutely do put this on your places to eat.

Though the food was above average and deco and ambience were good, we were disappointed when we requested but were not allowed to sit next to the window with the lakeview or nearer the window when there was really no one else dining and tables were available. It was also not anywhere near dinner time so why the rejection? We were made to sit next to a pillar in the middle of the restaurant. When we left, there was still no new diners. Hope the restaurant can be more flexible in assigning table to give customers a much better experience.

Expensive food, and it left something to be desired if you paid more for the view of the Lake.

I ordered clear soup and roast chicken and it was delicious. There is also Austrian Grüner Feltliner, which is difficult to eat in Italy. Just don't eat rice, eat chips. There seems to be a lack of understanding about rice.

Pleasant by the lake Restaurant on the lakeside of Saint Moritz. The place is nice and the service is adequate for the type of place. The salient aspect is that it is on the lakeside, which overshadows the quality of the dishes which is only normal. Adequate price for Switzerland

A great place to dine and chill as it’s near the train station and view is out of this world. The baked apples with vanilla sauce was yummy! Really made my day. Not forgetting the nice music they played. 👍🏼

Very nice and prestigious place with unfriendly staff. We took 3 vodka lemons which looked like lemon soda and had no vodka, for the modest sum of 15 francs each. Being in Switzerland you expect to be served with quality and friendliness. I strongly advise against taking drinks

Horrendously assisted by the waitress: half of the tables outside don't have anything against the sun so if you want to eat something you don't have a choice. There was a table with a shade but I was told it was a table for 4 clients so I had to eat my burger eaten by the sun without a shade. If you ever go to Saint Moritz bring a sandwich with you!

Coffee is a bit expensive. Electronic ordering works, but there is always a total interruption when paying, probably always if you don't add a tip 😉

We have eaten at Pier 34 many times. But unfortunately the food has been slowing down a bit lately. But the service has become really bad, and the location on the lake doesn't make up for it anymore. The employees can learn a lesson from their colleagues at the Capricorn in Chur when it comes to service. It's hard to believe that both restaurants belong to the same restaurant group.

Unfortunately the staff cannot speak German. Unfortunately the pasta was served cold. The quality of the food and the taste is questionable.

Ate there for the first time yesterday and were very satisfied. Ambience good, service good and food tasty, prices reasonable. If we are in this area again and have the opportunity to dine, we will come back.

The place is nice and has a nice view of the lake. The food is good and there is the possibility of eating out. Unfortunately the service leaves something to be desired. We waited over 30 minutes to order and another 30 minutes to be able to receive the drinks. Furthermore, when we pointed out to the waitress that we had been waiting a long time, she also responded badly.

Basically, the only restaurant on this side of lake. They do advertise burgers, but frankly it's the only meal you should avoid. They are not terribe. Just not really great for the money and compared to the other meals on the list. Very busy in lunchtime, still worth a visit on a stroll by the lake.

Beautifully located place on the coast of the lake, with a view to the lake from patio. Food was ok - we tried only one of the simplest option (the burgers for take away). We were in rush - arrived with Bernina Express from Tirano and stopped in St Moritz only for 1hr. This could be a good experience… quick food with a lake view. BUT… it wasn’t. The staff was extremely not nice. I understand we spent -only- 15CHF per burger - 45CHF in total, so we were not the key client. But the lady who served the order was really toxic. She barely allowed us to sit on the side of the restaurant - there are tables next to the take away order point. When she brought the food she started with “sorry… “ instead of “enjoy you meal…” you cannot read this different than “you should immediately go”. To be clear we haven’t been there in a busy time - the restaurant was 90% empty, we have been quite and polite. Which is not the case of the Stuff. After all kids asked Me - dad - is this like people in Switzerland behave? (Sorry to those nice Swiss people).

Ordered hamburger and grilled chicken: I had the worst hamburger I've ever eaten, he had raw chicken in the center and bleeding near the bone, no place settings on the table. As soon as the waitress put down the serving plates, she took the napkins away. Allergens placed RANDOMLY on the menu. Eating here is like playing Russian roulette, you can choose between death from allergies or from undercooked chicken. All for the modest sum of €58, so one would at least expect a lunch without the risk of high mortality.... Congratulations.

We went on the recommendation of a friend and didn't regret it at all. Very hardworking staff and very friendly. We really enjoyed it, it was fresh and the food came quickly despite the restaurant being full. This shows great organization in all areas. Fries with chicken nuggets were very good and the portion size was great. Beef tartare was okay, rather large for an appetizer but absolutely fair in terms of price. Salmon tartare was okay, but the portion size was a disgrace (far too small for a main course and completely overpriced). The electronic ordering option is well done! Location right on the lake is very nice!
