Very good food with a friendly waiter and rustic, down-to-earth facilities - absolutely recommended, top pizza and pasta

I don't think I would order pizza from this place again. Diavola pizza was very greasy, both pizzas were too salty, plus the price... just does not add up.

I'm writing this review directly from the restaurant, after an extremely entertaining evening at Pizzeria Cristallina. Today we experienced an unforeseen situation as the pizzaiolo was out for health reasons and a replacement had to step in on site. The boss politely informed us that the replacement was less experienced and therefore the order might take a little longer. We were also given a piece of a “failed” pizza to try, which tasted perfect! We could see the new employee struggling with the equipment and appearing a bit stressed. Nevertheless, the boss impressed us with his exemplary leadership skills when he brought the substitute a beer, toasted him and gave him words of encouragement. For me, this shows excellent leadership behavior and deserves the highest respect. The restaurant was busy and the pressure was correspondingly high. The substitute therefore deserves special praise for his efforts. The pizzas were still very tasty, as were the vegetable lasagna and the tiramisu. At the end the boss even gave us a free shot! A big thank you to the entire team for the excellent performance.

The food was very creative, I found the atmosphere very nice and you felt very welcome. There was something for the children to paint and a very great and creative menu. The staff was very nice and welcoming. We would be happy to come back. :)

What a great food and dining experience we had at the Cristallina. There's a whole new team since this season and you can tell straightaway that they love what they do. Fantastic food, great Italian Pizza, good selection of wine and lovely staff. I can recommend everything we ate and will come again for sure. On top the Laguna club in the same building is a perfect setting. Perfect and well done! 👌

The restaurant is right next to the valley station, about a 3-minute walk away. The whole team seems very friendly and open-minded. We were 100% impressed by the food and the pizzas fresh from the oven are worth a visit. The service, which left nothing to be desired, rounded off the evening completely. The possibility of parking directly in front of the entrance and the adjacent bus stop for the way home also make it very easy. We will definitely come back. Thanks to the whole team for a successful evening.

Absolutely recommended! Very friendly and attentive staff. The food is very good and served unbeatably quickly. 👍👍👍 Unfortunately the play area for the little ones was removed, but a coloring book and pencils helped us out. Reservation is an advantage, it is pretty well staffed in winter (I don't know about summer). No rating for the room because I wasn't a hotel guest😏 We'd love to come back.

The service is very rude. The waiter came to our table and spent a few minutes reproaching us for not responding to him when he said "good morning". It is worth adding that after entering the restaurant, we did not meet anyone from the staff and we had to look for someone to serve us ourselves. Then, the waiter asked us if we wanted the menu in English, and then gave us the German version xD When ordering, he asked us if we needed some time to understand German. Later he tried to sell us tagiatele for half price. After asking which beer was radler, we heard the comment, "it's obvious by the color." I highly do not recommend it. Pizza was ok

This review is based solely on the pizza restaurant. First of all, please ignore other reviews! The owners have just opened (or taken over, maybe) this place weeks ago. It's clean, they were super helpful answering our questions and even went so far as to show us ingredients when google translate didn't work too well. We were staying a few meters away at Peaks Place and wanted to bring home some pizzas. They were really good-and we say that having just come from Italy. I wish we had tried more things but we're totally satisfied with our order.

We went on the recommendation of friends who came for pizza despite the not-so-good reviews, the service was very nice - the lady was very helpful, the pizza was made in a wood-fired oven by an Italian - we highly recommend it, due to a small misunderstanding we got one pizza at the company's expense, for which we are very grateful :)

The Pizzeria Cristallina is really a highlight! We were impressed by the rustic atmosphere, the extremely courteous staff and the unbeatable prices. And not to forget, the best pizzas we've had in a long time. The service deserves full marks and the location is simply perfect. A breath of fresh air has been noticeable since the new owners took over the helm. You've really done a great job here! We're looking forward to coming back!

First we wanted to make a reservation online on Sunday for Tuesday. Since it said something about “must be confirmed,” I wasn’t sure, so I called. I was told there that Tuesday would be a rest day. Okay, no problem, we'll make a reservation for Wednesday. On Wednesday we stood in front of a closed door. Advertisements were still outside. My wife walked around the building and probably met the owner. He must have spontaneously decided to move and referred to a lack of appointment confirmation?! Huh? I made a reservation by phone! What still needs to be confirmed? He directed us to a pizza place nearby... but of course it was fully booked!

Pizza was delicious but unfortunately a bit expensive as we paid 70 francs for 3 pizzas and a calzone. The pizzas and calzones were very large and heavily topped. Gladly again 👍

After entering the restaurant we were left standing for 5 minutes. As soon as we were seated, we were given the menu straight away, but we weren't asked if we would like something to drink. The waitress stood next to the table like a hungry duck and after about 30 seconds came to ask if we had found anything to eat. We didn't really trust the whole thing and only ordered 2 pizzas. One pizza was just barely distorted, the other was still raw, after a complaint the pizza was baked again, but no improvement, the pizza was still exactly the same... The prices are an absolute rip-off, the staff unfriendly and the place not really pleasant. Never again……

We were a party of around 8 people visiting late in February. Adults and adolescents. In short: Dont recommend this place. Food: Is "OK". However, the waitering and waiter(s) is sub-standard: Slow, dont speak that well any other language than Swiss German. Worst part was still the rudeness of one of the male waiters. His words, tone of voice and body language all tells you he should not have this job at all, He took all of the fun and good mood out of the visit.

It is difficult for me to grasp that someone can add rotten ingredients on a pizza. It is by far the worst pizza I’ve ever had in my life. Rotten rotten rotten. Stay away. Save yourself from food poisoning. The people that work in this place need to find something else to do with their lives. Cooking with the lowest standards, with ingredients that even animals don’t eat is simply offensive and dangerous. The local authorities should shut down this place immediately. It is bad for the town’s reputation.

Really bad pizza. We got take away but it was very disappointing. The dough was good but the rest of the ingredients were really cheap and bad. I do not recommend it.

Tried to call 7 times during opening hours. Of course at different times if there is a lot going on. Always let it ring through completely. How are you supposed to make a reservation??!! I was even pushed away 2 or 3 times. Well, if you didn't want it, you had it. Does the recessions here quite justice.

Very good restaurant! We were able to order 3 pizzas almost half an hour before closing time. The whole staff just before the end of the day did a great job and conjured up 3 hot, very tasty pizzas in a very classy manner. Super friendly host tried very hard to make us happy! Simply great at such a late hour!

Pizza was quite ok. Staff...today the boss personally was very strenuous and almost cheeky. We were seated at an uncovered table, even though the restaurant was still empty at 8:30 p.m. We didn't feel welcome.

Ate this evening as a couple at Cristallina. The pizzas were absolutely excellent! We have rarely eaten such good pizzas in a restaurant in Switzerland. We would have had a second one out of pure greed. The Bruschetta as a starter was also perfect and enough 1 for two. Very nice terrace. The wait and the price were okay. The server was friendly and funny. If you are passing through Laax, I highly recommend this restaurant for a good pizza. We are even thinking of returning there before the end of our stay.

Never again! Wanted to reserve by phone. Unfortunately, no one picked up the phone after several attempts at different times (between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.). So we went there. Restaurant was half empty and yet we were told that there were no tables left??? Some of the staff would have already finished work - this was on a Saturday at 8:00 p.m. even though the internet says it is open until 11:00 p.m. What do you say to that!!! They must be doing too well. ——- POOR SERVICE ——- In any case, for us this restaurant has “died”. There are plenty of other and friendlier restaurants in Laax and the surrounding area.

We ordered four pizzas for a takeaway. When we brought the pizzas home and opened them, there where really and I mean REALLY ugly looking. I could do a better one. Some corners where white like paper some where BLACK. The pizza was extremely oily like someone would put 3l oil on it, and the pizza was ripping like paper. The vegetables where looking like thrown on the pizza and not even baked. The pizza was not even similar to a round pizza. I felt sick after eating that pizza. That is the worst Pizza I ever ordered. I wasn’t inside the restaurant, but the ordering not in the restaurant is horrible. Cheap made, really expensive (76 Franks for 4 really small pizzas!!!) oily, ripping like paper and not good tasting. I would not order pizzas there. Worst pizza I ever ate.

On October 15th The E-C juniors from FC Bischofszell were allowed to have lunch at the Pizzeria Cristallina. After spending the week in Laax and hiking to the Rock Resort in Laax via the treetop path on Friday, we wanted to fill our hungry bellies in the pizzeria. We arrived at 12:30 p.m. and left at 1:30 p.m. after 33 pizzas in a good mood and full. It was a great occasion, very uncomplicated and friendly. The pizzas were served quickly and were very tasty. Service was poor because I forgot my order twice...had to follow up. Unfortunately, there are slices of bacon on the pizza instead of bacon, cut ultra-thick...not edible. Dough was good but quite burnt.
