Pizzeria Molino in Dietikon

the parking situation is limited. There are a few parking spaces behind the house, but they are all full before peak times. If a car is parked poorly, the already small parking spaces quickly become unusable. There are a few public parking spaces in front of the restaurant - that's about it. The service is really friendly but we feel pretty ripped off. At first they could only offer us a beef fillet on Easter Sunday, we ordered 2 pieces, then the bill wasn't correct. We were charged for both the re-ordered menu and the beef fillet that was not served. That was not all. The waiter came to the table with a tray full of desserts in his hands and told us it was his pleasure to offer the house desserts. We took two pieces and then discovered that we were also being charged exorbitant prices for the “offered” desserts. It wasn't so stressful that you could say it was due to the stress. Very disappointing, the food was mediocre, not worth another visit for me. For me it's an absolute attempt to rip people off in a systematic way

Living in Switzerland for almost a year I was looking for a good pizzeria. In the context I didn't find it bad, on the contrary the kind and impeccable service was good value for money. I gave 4 stars because my expectation on the pizza was much higher than reality. I ate a four seasons with buffalo mozzarella. Not bad dough, I digested it very well and for Switzerland it's already a nice plus, the so-so ham, peppers I didn't like, tomato and mozzarella of excellent quality. Very good dessert, a chocolate mousse that is difficult to eat in other restaurants. All in all I recommend it!

The restaurant is very nicely decorated and the service was good. The pizza and tagliatelle were OK, but not what you would have expected for the price. They weren't bad, but they weren't particularly impressive either. It lacked the “wow” factor you might have expected.

Service was very poor and rude. For food, I had lasagna for lunch yesterday and have had diarrhea and vomiting since yesterday, vomiting only yesterday.

The pizza was of very poor quality, especially the low-end cheese and the dough was much too thin for my taste. The pizza dough was also burnt and the price was way too high. My friend had overcooked pasta with a basic sauce. Bad value for money. However, the staff is very pleasant.

The Molino in Dietikon almost brings back childhood memories to me. I used to go there a lot and it was always good. It still is today. The quality is right. The pizza was good, the tiramisu was delicious. However, when it comes to prices, they are already at the upper limit. I know that the staff has to be paid, the rents are high, food costs more and electricity prices are rising immeasurably. Nevertheless: if I have to pay Fr. 18.50 for a pizza Margherita plus ham Fr. 6.00 plus mushrooms Fr. 3.00, I end up with Fr. 27.50. I find that borderline in Zurich, but clearly too expensive in Dietikon. The pricing on the card is opaque. I think choosing the side dishes is a very good idea. But you have to calculate the final price yourself each time. If I had taken additional vegetables for Fr. 5.00, my pizza would have cost a whopping Fr. 32.50. I actually only saw the Pizza Margherita for Fr. 18.50. With prices like these, I only go to the restaurant once a quarter instead of at least once a month as I used to.

Spontaneously went to Molino for dinner today. We called beforehand and were able to remember straight away. In general the service was top. The employees are super friendly, everything runs smoothly and you just feel comfortable. The food was also great. We added a little salt here and there. But that's not tragic. Salt, pepper shakers and oil are available as standard. We were also pleasantly surprised by the price. We each had a starter and a total of three main courses and water. Fresh pizza rolls with chili and garlic oil are available on the house. That for under 100 francs. So we'd love to come back.

Is there any reason why you don't cut a pizza that you deliver? Incomprehensible…. Should I roll them up and eat them whole?

Fine Italian cuisine Delicious and crunchy pizza and panacota

Today we had lunch at Molino again after a long time. Tagliatelle Carbonara were completely overcooked. Slightly over al dente can sometimes happen, but this was more in the direction of soup noodles. My pasta also came about 5 minutes after the three other guests' dishes. It must have been forgotten in the pot... I didn't complain because we were in a hurry and, as mentioned, the pasta arrived too late. The salad was very fresh and crunchy, but it's better to skip the house sauce and treat yourself to olive oil and balsamic vinegar. A pity.

I have to say there are few catering establishments that offer what they promise at this level. I was there with a colleague 10 years ago and didn't know this restaurant. After a strenuous day, we took an extra 2-hour detour because he really wanted to invite me to this restaurant and at the time he raved about it being the best pizza I've ever eaten. And he was right. Well, unfortunately I didn't remember the name and I no longer have contact with this colleague. A few weeks ago I thought about it for a moment, but I thought I would never find out where this restaurant was or what it was called. But as luck would have it, I ordered a pizza to pick up in the Dietikon area with a colleague. I said mockingly that it was definitely this pizzeria. And actually at least 10 years later I was there again and it looked like it did back then and my memory shouldn't disappoint me: it is and remains the best pizza I have eaten in my life. No matter whether in Italy or elsewhere. I can warmly recommend the truffle oil. Would give 6 stars.

Very pleasant and aesthetically designed dining room, extremely friendly, attentive and personal service, fantastic pizza, fresh and attractive salads and really great homemade (you can taste it!) dessert. Totally recommended! We would love to come back.

Competent and friendly service. The service staff does a great job. Unfortunately, the quality of the food cannot keep up with the high prices. For the prices, the food has to be top, but unfortunately it's not even close. A pity. Still a solid 3 out of 5 stars for the Molino in Dietikon.

I had dinner with my family (4 people) at Pizzeria Molino last Friday. It is very cold in the restaurant and the food was not particularly tasty but very expensive. We paid a total of just under CHF 240.00 with an additional 2 small starters. This pizzeria is too expensive and the value for money is simply not right. You can eat pizza but not the rest plus the portions are very small - you could call them a children's plate.

We had a great time! Delicious pizza! Pleasant Italian music. Lovely cozy atmosphere. We recommend to visit.

The new menu takes a lot of getting used to. In my opinion, the new pizza policy is not necessarily customer-friendly. E.g. You can quickly get to 30.00 CHF for a pizza

Friendly and attentive staff, fine and tasty food, good and fine wines. The ambience is open across three levels, the drawback is that as soon as there are more guests present, it quickly becomes restless, almost noisy. The tables correspond to a bistro, which is very small and a shame, which is to the detriment of the customer, consumer and the ambience. I think with larger and wider tables you create a welcoming, more comfortable atmosphere that invites you to linger and consume more. I ordered a salami pizza without any extra. On my check, I saw that extra money was added for salami. That was very unpleasant and left a negative impression on me. The problem was solved, but if I hadn't looked and trusted it, it would have gone unnoticed.

Food was a bit too expensive and my waitress was too hectic when serving and clearing away the food as it was very loud when putting the food down and clearing it away again

I had lunch at Molino for a family occasion. The welcome by Mr. Leonard was very friendly, he had prepared a nice table for us, which was very helpful and offered us first class service! Cheers! Service employees like this make a big difference. The food was well received and the guests felt comfortable. Gladly next time.

We have to wait 15-20 minutes for a COFFEE! Servis has no interest in serving.

We are very disappointed. Years ago this was once the best place for a fine pizza. Unfortunately today's pizza was very "doughy" and not crispy. Then, quite carelessly, an ice-cold scoop of Buffalo Mozzarello was slapped on top. At the end you had lukewarm dough in your mouth - with watery toppings. Furthermore, the service was very, very slow today even though the restaurant was half empty. We won't be coming back...

For me, Molino is one of the best "system restaurateurs" Food and wine are top :) Definitely try Tiramsu.

Maybe next time I can pre-order the pizza for a few days so that it arrives on time.

My first time here. After we were seated we had to wait about twenty minutes for the menu. Unfortunately, the food was only average but expensive. The service, although friendly, never asked us if we would like to order more drinks, the empty bottles were never cleared away and the plates were taken away one by one. This all happened while the restaurant was rather empty rather than full. Unfortunately disappointing.

Our family has been a regular customer here for years. The staff is super friendly. The restaurant is always clean, the atmosphere is great and we always feel very comfortable there. The food is delicious, especially the pizzas and pasta, but I can also recommend the rest of the menu. In terms of price, the restaurant is in line with its competitors in this class and is therefore quite fair. The parking spaces behind the restaurant are very narrow and few. Since the main street was rebuilt, there is usually a free space in front of the restaurant. I really like it there and always come back there. For more than 10 years.

We waited over 1 hour for our main courses and it wasn't that delicious. The waitress was rude and made us feel like we weren't welcome. Of course it didn't help when I saw that the cutlery that was handed out at the beginning wasn't clean...

We first had to wait until someone noticed us and we were assigned our reserved table. Apparently only the boss is allowed to assign the roach. Unfortunately he was in the basement when we arrived. The pizzas taste good, but are way overpriced. A little less buffalo mozzarella and expensive ham on it would make it taste even better and be cheaper. The service is not particularly friendly. It's a shame, it used to be a nice place a while ago. It is also extremely loud and therefore uncomfortable. In any case, we won't be coming anymore.

We came for lunch and the food was delicious as always Very welcoming staff as always, especially Mrs. Rosà who was very kind to me I asked her for a rubber band and she gave me one of hers, a very nice and unexpected gesture! Service very polite. Lots of PP. Ambience and furnishings rather old-fashioned and "used". Pizza was good, but the starter salad was not good at all, for 5 leaves of lettuce, 4 pieces of fennel and 1 cherry tomato 11.50 No thanks.

Waited 20 minutes and no staff took care of us. Even the owner offered us the card and we didn't receive it! By the way, the store wasn't full either. No matter when I went to Dieci further down the street, they probably didn't notice that we left without ordering.
