Very good pizzas ! And service !!

Very friendly service, we were served straight away to break the fast and didn't have to wait.

Yesterday we were at the Pizzeria Molino. The drink selection could be larger. The friendliness of the employees is also not optimal. This can be done better! The food is delicious and the ambience is also appropriate. Prices are a bit high.

Always a nice place to enjoy. Pizza, salad and the like are very good. The service is great, even if there are a lot of guests. Thanks!!

We were 15 people for Iftar in this pizzeria and we all received the pizzas at the same time and warm. The food was fine, the service was top, and so was the organization.

Delicious food, great service and vibe!!! I’ve became very picky about what i eat in the past 10 years (mostly plant based fresh food with some additional meat and/or fish). Finding a place to eat and enjoy my food during my frequent travels is a real challenge so from my perspective Molino was a really rare find!!! I’ve been eating at Molino for three days in the row already having a super tender grilled chicken breast and massive amounts of fresh and tasty mixed salad. Exactly the food i need, superb according to my standards. Service is great, my host Jtandra was very polite, attentive and helpfull. He swifty took care of all details while managing many other tables. Altough the dishes i ordered can be regarded as ‘simple’ my expectations/requirements make them much more complex. The restaurant has a really good vibe, pleasant overall atmosphere. I definitely plan to visit Molino again very soon.

The vegan pizza was tasty and delicious for CHF23 (small but big enough portion). But what I miss are more vegan pizzas on the menu. According to the new "Build your own pizza" concept, pizzas have become more expensive.

The pizza was very good, but exorbitantly expensive. We had a voucher, two for one... My Frutti di Mare cost 35, my friend had asked for raw ham in addition to her pizza - an additional 7 on top of the pizza price So in the end we had to pay 42 just for the pizza, in my opinion too much for 1 pizza, even in the center of Winterthur

Very experienced and friendly staff, original Italian cuisine, fresh pizzas, good wines. We often visit with our 2.5 year old son and have never had any problems. Our son really likes the atmosphere and the food.

Food was OK, but the ambience wasn't convincing. It was very loud and warm. The staff was friendly but asked me four times for a drink even though I didn't want one. I found that a bit intrusive. Prices tend to be in the upper segment

The pizza is perfect! But the Ragu Bolognese was unfortunately very bland. I had to add a lot of salt and pepper until it tasted good.

Station hall, eat ok, if the potatoes hadn't been delivered until after the menu was finished. Maybe an exception, but a no go!

I haven't been to Molino Winterthur in a while. But it was worth going there again. The service was very good, attentive and very nice waiter, always with a smile on his face. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. I will come back.

Monday lunchtime: There is enough space in the well-kept restaurant for four of us. All dishes were OK, but tasted quite modest.

Menu a nightmare so confusing to order. Had a seat by the window and almost froze over. First pizza the dough was still raw. Got a completely new one after the complaint 🍕. That was very nice. The food isn't exactly cheap there. I liked the restaurant better before the renovation.

Ordered: Calzone with tomato sauce, basil, tuffel oil, garlic and buratta for 30 francs. Received: Folded empty bread with the top burnt. Excellent. Now no more delivery vans so no food for the evening, thank you very much Molino! well done Hats off to the pizza jolo who didn't realize that the calzone was empty

MOLINO a typical good Italian restaurant. Good cocktails even without alcohol. Service very friendly & accommodating. Food fantastic. As I have read in a few comments here that the employees hardly speak any German, I have to emphasize: "You are not in Germany, but in Switzerland". This restaurant is highly recommended. Gladly again next vacation. Ciao.

Oh dear. Unfortunately very bad. We were often at Molino. But after today's experience, we won't be able to come back any time soon. Every pizza was cold and with a whiny taste. Waiter doesn't understand the order. Wrong ingredients on the pizza. Then our table was at the restaurant's cutlery table. We constantly had to avoid the buttocks of the respective waiters. It's a shame actually. It used to be very good.

We have been to Molino many times, and I can confidently say that their pizza is the best in the city. In addition to the great food, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the service is always really attentive and friendly. Though prices are slightly higher, it's definitely worth it. Highly recommended!

Despite the full restaurant, we were offered a place to wait at the bar and later a nice place at a table. Super tasty pizza, especially the one on the daily/monthly menu. Absolutely fresh and exceptional in taste! Despite the many guests, it's not that loud in the whole room. Conclusion: Very good food, nice service & ambience. Happy to come back!

Modern setting for this chain Italian restaurant. Good welcome at the entrance to be placed at the table. On the other hand then, twice our main courses arrive while our starter is not finished. They had to be sent back twice. The dishes are certainly well presented but the portions are small compared to the price. Note that the 5 dl carafe of water is charged 4 francs even with the price of wine. Speaking of which, glasses of wine are expensive. In summary, a mixed experience, we will not return to this chain.

We are regular customers there. There is no shopping weekend in Winterthur without a visit to Molino. The service is always friendly and the food is very good.

Restaurant is very welcoming. Really nice and cozy. It's quieter at the back but also a lot louder. food was good... service top. We had very friendly, attentive service. She always smiled so beautifully and gave competent information. I think it's expensive but sometimes it's great. It was a pleasant evening. (Forgot photos because of all the chatting. Next time 😀)

We waited so long for the food and the waitress kept getting our orders wrong, I think they didn’t speak German well… Its a bit annoying to wait for the food for so long and get the wrong orders👎🏻 anyway i wouldn’t recommend this place.

We were in Molino yesterday with 4 people. The service employee could hardly speak German and was kind of annoyed (decency ☹) So it took quite a long time to receive our order. The drinks we ordered were quickly on the table, but the wrong ones. The table next to us was occupied 5 minutes after us by the guests next to us When we were finished eating, my colleague asked another service employee (In standard German) We've been waiting for a while...would you like the wine list? At some point the meal would be reserved. Not quite what we ordered either. I also got the dessert ☹ I ordered Mouse a Chocolat any chocolate cream. It seemed to me like leftover chocolate sauce for summer ice cream. . And at the end the bill ☹ Price performance is not right at all.

The normal portion of tortelloni with porcini mushrooms was tasty, but very small. The nice waiter then brought me a second portion without asking, which was then not charged for. Very generous. Thank you very much!

It was once again a very nice evening that I enjoyed. This was my second time here and it was very harmonious and stylish. The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. One point is deducted for the arrangement and size of the tables, some of which are very close to each other, so that you can't always talk undisturbed and unfortunately you can also hear the conversations from the neighboring table.

This restaurant really surprised us in a positive way. Enjoyed very tasty pizzas. The Molino Winterthur proves that you can bake excellent pizzas even without a wood oven.

Was at Molino today, the service was very good and the food was A1 :) I recommend it to everyone!!

We've been going to Molino Zermatt very often for years and that's why we wanted to try other locations too. Although my son lives in Winterthur, we only made it to Molino Winti today (after Molino Bern and Affoltern). We weren't disappointed here either - we ate the same thing we always eat in Zermatt and it was very good! The large portion of Vitello tonato was huge and the meat was excellent. Only the grilled vegetables could have been grilled longer, the eggplants were not completely cooked. The interior design is very successful and the service was also very nice and efficient. Update 9/17/23: Today we probably had the best Vitello Tonato in Switzerland! The Focaccia al Rosmarino was also incredibly good. So far the best Molino restaurant...

My wife went out to dinner with her friends this evening, they were approached by the pizza makers and wow, beautiful eyes etc... What kind of group is supposed to work there? What a disgrace, women can't even go out to eat without being harassed by the staff?! The quality or taste of the food actually becomes a minor issue when such vultures work there

The food was okay to good. The restaurant is modern and the staff was friendly. But I didn't feel warmly welcomed and the whole atmosphere was somehow not right for me. I would have expected more given the prices.

I was working at this place for a month and I left because of how bad they work. Chef Sasha and Chitu very rude and bad bosses. They spoke badly to me and didn't teach me anything, they make the staff feel bad and create a very bad work environment. Sasha drinking alcohol every day and failing to do so: he told me that in Spain we don't want to work. Unnecessary racist comment. Having just arrived in Switzerland, I had to voluntarily leave my job because I didn't want to break that pig's bones.

We have celebrated birthdays there and it has been great for lovers of Italian cuisine

I finally managed to find and taste the WORST pizza in Winterthur. I RECOMMEND

Simply the best pizza. We were greeted with delicious pizza bread as an aperitif. Even though the Tortelloni Fatti in Casa at 20 CHF and the small Quattro Stagioni Pizza at 25 CHF are not cheap, the price is absolutely worth it. The use of Buffalo Mozzarella DOP and the other fresh and high-quality ingredients are absolutely worth it. What should be highlighted is the great and child-friendly service. Right at the beginning there was a coloring template and colored pencils. Also a free scoop of ice cream with a cookie and Smarties for dessert for all three children. We can absolutely recommend the Molino in Winterthur. Conclusion: Best pizza

Overpriced, good location and good service. Food mediocre apart from pizzas.

I love this place! Whenever we have visitors from the US, this is one of the places we love bringing them for high quality food. Shout out to this guy for always rocking it, plus the rest of the crew! (PS, thanks for finding us a table that one night in Feb! <3)

So 33 francs for a pizza is no longer normal, sorry!! My colleague had the salmon and it cost 36 francs. The bruschettes weren't good. Tomatoes half green and the bread really hard. Prices are too exorbitant and the quality has deteriorated. I won't be visiting you again for a while. I'm extremely disappointed.

The cleanliness in the guest room leaves a lot to be desired. That used to be much better. The many flies are also unsavory.

Pizzeria with garden seating in the pedestrian zone. Unfortunately, I had already eaten before, but was thrilled by the very large and beautifully presented dishes at the neighboring tables, which polished off everything with great enjoyment. The interior is also very nicely decorated...will come back, but hungry.

Unfortunately I was a bit disappointed, I've eaten much better pizzas. The pizza (Margherita plus spicy salami) was a bit bland and didn't have much flavor.

The food (pizzas) are good, but rather expensive (Proscuttio & Funghi 27 Fr.). There are sometimes a lot of flies outside while eating.

Actually, I just wanted to have a quick glass (1dl) of rose in the afternoon. The wine took ages to arrive. For CHF 9 I get a whole bottle of good wine. The lady from the service offered to try it, but then only poured 1/2 dl more. No, I won't come to this restaurant anymore! Not even to eat!!

Molino always tastes good. A typical Italian restaurant. Good cocktails even without alcohol. Service is very friendly and also accepts special requests. There are vegetarian and vegan options.

I've eaten at Molino several times. You eat well, but it's nothing special. Prices are ok. Service is friendly, but quickly overwhelmed.

A tried and tested choice if you want to eat Italian in Winterthur. The Molino is located just a few minutes from the train station in the old town, and there are plenty of seats both outside and inside. The service is very courteous, there is a pleasant atmosphere and the food is tasty anyway! However, it may make sense to make a reservation as the restaurant is usually busy.

The food is delicious there, but the service is poor. Considering you have to pay so much for your pizza, I expect better staff. After the main course was served, we sat there for another 20 minutes without a waiter coming by to ask if we would like anything. We hadn't seen any waiters during this time. At the beginning we sat on the left with other guests who were also no longer served and wanted to pay. Finally I had to get up and went to the waitress to ask for the bill.

We had not booked and were still able to be placed on a Saturday evening. The service was top notch and the waitress was very smiling, just perfect! The meal was very good and the staff cared about whether everything was going well despite the crowds. The service at the end of the evening was a little longer, you had to be patient to get the bill.

Service very friendly. Menu very confusing. Food far from Italian cuisine, all comfort food. An indefinable, almost inedible sauce on the salad. Usually in an Italian restaurant there is vinegar and olive oil on the table. Gnocchi and spaghetti Bolognese were simply forgettable, not at all like they used to be. With espresso there used to be a Cantucci or something else small, but now nothing. There aren't even any paper mats on the table as a base, but instead there is a cloth napkin. For these prices I expect at least a paper set for hygiene reasons and not necessarily a cloth napkin! The table is wiped down with a cloth after each guest. But I don't know how many tables are wiped with this cloth. Where is the hygiene? Molino was a good Italian restaurant before the renovation, but now it no longer deserves that term. It's a shame, I definitely won't frequent this so-called Italian restaurant again.

Very loud in the restaurant, people talking on the phone through loudspeaker. The food wasn't bad but the galzone had eggshells on it.

Good selection, slightly higher prices. Pizza looks good, but unfortunately I wasn't impressed with the taste. The dough is “fluffy” but somehow bland, the middle of the pizza is quite soggy, unfortunately not my thing. Had to wait 15 minutes before we could pay.

Since it was a nice, warm summer evening, I was able to sit outside in the market alley. This is a nice atmosphere and invites you to linger. The staff was very friendly and attentive. If you are looking for traditional pizzas, you have to put them together yourself. My pizza from the menu was good, but nothing special. Prices rather too high.

I ordered the Christa Rigozzi pizza because I love truffle oil and what happens? Served without 🤪 I ask the waiter if I can have it. He drips exactly a few drops on it 😖 and disappears in a flash before I can even say anything. For dessert I order Capuccetto rosso, I'm Italian and speak the language perfectly 😁 and what does he understand? Cappuccino!!! Unfortunately, it becomes more and more difficult to use. There are always new waiters here and unfortunately you can't find the good ones anymore. It's a shame, at these prices not only the food but also the service should be good. We will consider another restaurant next time. Oh yes, and you can save yourself the standard answer. How boring and unprofessional!

One of my favorite restaurants in Winti. A small O Mare Mio, not for those with shellfish allergies, otherwise definitely try it.
