Ok, but as I understand it, takeaway pizzas are at the Oberon price limit, in the area where we live they cost less in the restaurant, but it's just not Burgdorf...

Advertising signs from the pizzeria were all beautifully displayed on the street in front, so I invited my husband to eat pizza! The entire parking lot was empty and there was a note on the door: Closed due to lack of staff! Thank you too then!

Good Italian restaurant with well-known Italian dishes

Finally a really good Italian restaurant in Burgdorf again, I can't stand all the paste pizzas from these takeaways anymore (My opinion) Great food, great staff, cozy atmosphere. I recommend it!

All in all very good, not in the class of Da Elio in Leissigen but good for this region. Of the three service specialists, 2 spoke Bärndütsch and the third spoke good German (Italian). The pizza was good and the service was good too, there is nothing to complain about. Price performance... ok at the upper limit will come back, I love testing bad reviews

DISAPPOINTED The positive thing about Salsa is the cozy terrace and the location. Actually ideal for being and enjoying a meal with family/friends or business partners... However, the price/performance shocked us. For 29.90 there was chicken breast, which was unseasoned and the meat was very dry, combined with very little salad, which was extremely carelessly prepared!!!! The pizza looked good and tasted good too. The waitress was inattentive and couldn't understand us. The lady spoke a few words of Swiss German, but we quickly realized that she understood almost nothing. She didn't understand the explanation that I wanted the starter (salad) beforehand. The salad as a starter came with the pizza 😒. In general we didn't really feel looked after as guests. A pity! Our conclusion: 4 points for the terrace, place settings, atmosphere 4 points for the pizza 2 points for the mixed salad as a starter: There was very little salad and it was carelessly prepared. 2 points for the chicken breast 2 points for price/performance 2 points for the Apérol, which was very economical...

Pizzas top rest goes like this. Roast beef costs a lot and with around 50g of meat on it and a few lettuce leaves it's really stingy.

Restaurant well located, with parking space, very well appointed, clean and with a large covered terrace for sunny days. The menu is varied, the quantities good and the dishes very tasty. The service is excellent and you feel good.

Food wasn't convincing (homemade pasta with seafood). Very good service. Dessert was tasty. The ambience could be a little more! The unique thing is missing! Were not enchanted, for wow... not enough.

Das Mittagessen war hervorragend. Die Teigwaren waren 'al Dente' und die 'Waldsause' war sehr köstlich. Die Bedienung war zuvorkommend und immer mit einem Lächeln. Auch die Pizza war sehr köstlich. Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur empfehlen!!!

Mit der Familie am Abend gegessen und es war gut. Die Vorspeisenauswahl eher mager und darum haben 3 Personen den Crevettencocktail gegessen. Zum Hauptgang dann von Kalbsschnitzel Limone über Pizza bis zu Gnocchi gab es alles bei uns. Das Essen war gut, die Betreuung ebenfalls. Preis ist eher hoch für einen einfachen Italiener.

Der Service war nett und sehr zuvorkommend. Jedoch war die Speise (wir hatten beide Scaloppine di Vitello al Limone o Marsala) für CHF 40.00 pro Portion masslos überteuert. Die Speise bestand zu 70% aus Gemüse und das Gewicht der Scaloppine war nicht höchstens als 70 - 80 gr.

A great restaurant with friendly staff! The prices are reasonable and the food is very tasty. It may be obvious for a pizzeria but I can highly recommend the pizzas. By the way, there are few parking spaces behind the pizzeria. There is also a bus stop just in front of the pizzeria. It's about 5 minutes on foot. from Burgdorf train station.
