An excellent restaurant from A to Z. The staff is very friendly, very accommodating and very attentive. The food is fantastic. You can feel the passion. Unfortunately there are no grilled dishes like Bistecca alla fiorentina here. 😅 I would love to come back. The wood fired pizzas are fantastic. The homemade desserts are also recommended.

The food here is very good, the service is friendly and the ambience is very convincing. The mill in the restaurant and the stone oven definitely contribute to the good atmosphere and food. I liked it a lot. I just wish I had a little more meat on the plate ;)

Once and never again, 2 people order, 1 hour waiting time, and waitress delivers 1 plate, PLEASE WHAT? OK, wait another 15 minutes, no second order comes, then I said to the waitress that restaurants don't have guests... What does this mean? Like I said, never again...

We were served very friendly. The food came quickly and was very tasty. There was also a portion for the little ones which was better value for money. Keep it up, we'll be happy to come back

We always receive a warm welcome at the Pizzeria zur Mühle. We feel warmly welcome at any time. Of course, sometimes there are waiting times. . But if the restaurant is busy, it can be like that too. Gladly again and again.

Wanted something small to eat on a beautiful, warm Monday evening at 9:45 p.m. The employee sent us away again on the grounds that there was only hot food available until 9 p.m. However, the website says until 10:30 p.m. A pity.

The four of us were in the old town Pizzeria zur Mühle on a Saturday lunchtime at the beginning of August 2023. The weather was good and the terrace, shaded with parasols, was well occupied. We chose a table for four inside the beautiful restaurant. The restaurant filled up quickly and the pizzaiolo had his hands full. The mill theme is really perfectly and authentically implemented. A truly very inviting restaurant, which is probably unique in its style. The service was very prompt, professional and friendly. This is what gets the highest grade. There is still some room for improvement when it comes to pizzas with whole wheat dough, especially when it comes to the dough. The pizzas alla Romana were comparatively small and the dough was too thin. In addition, the wholemeal dough tasted too sour, which is not bad per se but in our opinion is not compatible with pizza. In addition, three of the four pizzas were underbaked and could have tolerated a little more heat from the wood oven - albeit a little more evenly. A single pizzaiolo with a full house is at least one pizzaiolo too few. The quality suffers. The affogato that was sent from the kitchen was excellent. It rounded off our stay in the beautiful pizzeria perfectly.

The Old Town Pizzeria zur Mühle is a real culinary delight! I had one of the best pizzas of my life there. The restaurant is located in a charming old town setting and has a cozy atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive. The selection of pizzas was varied and I decided on an individual combination. The dough was perfectly thin and crispy, topped with fresh and high quality ingredients. It was a real treat! I will definitely come back and recommend the Altstadt Pizzeria zur Mühle to my friends.

Very nicely located pizzeria with a nice terrace. We were a group of 8 people, the food tasted very good, from pizza to lasagne and pasta. Unfortunately, the pasta came a little later than the pizzas and we also had to wait quite a long time for dessert. The restaurant was filled to capacity, which probably led to these difficulties. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Reservations recommended. We will be back.

After a wonderful Neapolitan concert, we ended the evening with lovely people over a very fine Italian meal. Franco and his team were our hosts with heart and passion and absolutely pampered us. After years of abstinence, I went to see Franco again at the Pizzeria zur Mühle. I reserved 1 day in advance. Mr. Franco immediately recognized me by my voice. 😊😃 The food was great as always. Well, the prices are maybe a little higher than other pizzerias. But the great ambience, the friendly service, the old water wheel in the pizzeria and, above all, Mr. Franco, all of that makes it worth eating there. 😃 Go there and have your own experiences. I will definitely go there again.

It's been a long time since I ate at the mill again. I was able to make a reservation without any problems. However, the pizza took more than an hour and looked like it came from the freezer. At the first bite I noticed that it wasn't fresh. When I no longer had any appetite for such a disgusting pizza after two pieces of pizza, I politely asked if the pizza was fresh. The staff then replied cheekily that I should go somewhere else to eat if I didn't like it! This store is absolutely disgusting, with exorbitantly high prices and rude staff. Save yourself the trouble and pain and go eat better somewhere else. Not recommended at all.

Fine pizza and friendly staff. We were inside, ambience is ok, could be more comfortable. Unfortunately, my pizza was very wet and soggy, but that was probably due to the buffalo mozzarella. All other pizzas were super delicious. Will go again and try another one. Update: was to try another pizza - super tasty and not soggy at all. So it was really down to the buffalo mozzarella and I can now recommend the pizzeria with a clear conscience. You should make a reservation in summer if you want to sit outside.

We were wonderfully welcomed. We were able to dine there very late with 15 people. Contact was made through the Hotel Sursee and they prepared everything. Just perfect! Antipasti, pizza, vino, grappa (or in my case cherry liqueur ;) Great atmosphere, wonderful food!!! And the hosts are fantastic. Thanks! Always my pleasure! See you next time in Sursee 🙋🏽‍♀️

Very special and characteristic place. Really excellent Italian appetizer. The waitress was friendly and very kind. The pizza not exceptional but good. Really good Sardinian beer and ingredients. I felt like I was in Italy. Very high prices but in line with Switzerland.
