On the orecchiette asks for some olio piccante. It perfectly round the taste of “cime di rapa”. The orata is really delicate, salted at perfection and with a tasty lemon salse just right for this fish. I have asked to accompany the fish with spinach instead of potatoes and they have accommodated my request. The spinach were just perfectly cooked well green and crispy, and with a well balanced amount of olive oil. The panna cotta is simply superb (home made) soft, tasty and it has nothing to share with industrial manufacturing. Wines: I have tried their pecorino which wasn’t great but their vermentino di sardegna is absolutely “over the top”: dry, fruity with apricot background and wonderfully pairing to their pastas and the orata-fish. Their octopus (starter) is also well cooked, tender, with few spices and rounded with some olive oil and accompanied by a few tasty black olives. Personally i would enjoyed better olives of type “olive taggiasche”. The coffee (espresso) has been served in a hot cup, and with a fantastic aroma to close both my dinners. The atmosphere is casual- elegant, charming and cozy at the same time. The staff is Italian, kind and polite. Definitely a restaurant to recommend if you want to experience a real traditional kitchen from south-italy.
