Pret A Manger Gate D in Kloten

Look, don’t get me wrong, I love a Pret. In fact it’s one of the things I miss about the uk, I’d probably fly back just for a decent Pret sesh, but the Zurich airport version is a far cry from what I know and love about it’s uk counterpart. First off, there are no vegan sandwiches… or vegetarian sandwiches that weren’t bulked up with cheese; a slight problem for this lactose intolerant vegetarian!! Anyway I got a salmon sandwich (holiday rules to go lax on the vegetarianism sort of allows me) then I mentioned to the lady at the desk that there were no vegan sandwich options, she mentioned it was company policy… erm … look, we all know it isn’t, Pret is all about vegans and veggies back home, so no need to make something up for my sake. Just tell me the truth, I’m in the downgraded Swiss version of what could be hailed as a uk institution. Let’s not beat around the bush, and just call a spade a spade. Ps 10chf for a salmon sarnie is hilarious (I’m now considering setting up a sandwich shop in Zurich)

Absolutely the best breakfast, polite and charming service and organic coffee! Ideal for the stopover in Zurich on Saturday morning between 6:30 and 8 a.m. Thanks for the relaxed atmosphere!

Pret-A-Manger used to be one of my daily routines when I lived in London, but it feels like this one is different - or it lost its touch. For example, we bought a Mango juice - turns out its an apple juice with a bit of Mango flavor. The coffee was very soft and really not very good. As a note, the service is awesome and so were the croissants - but the drinks were not aligned with my expectations.

I think it's a good cafeteria for the airport, to take a breath, rest and have something to eat or drink. It's in section D. I cannot criticize the prices here because we are both at the airport and in Switzerland, only water should not be 5+ francs. Also, they are very slow at the checkout.

It's good food but too expensive, €6 for a bottle of water! This is at the airport in Zürich! At Zurich airport for lunch or a snack but extremely expensive.

i got the cold avacodo and herb wrap and the granola with honey and also the brownie bar. the wrap was much better than i expected but i did encounter that gross hard bit at the top of the avocado which is very unpleasant to bite. the honey granola was NOT crunchy enough but the yoghurt was a perfect texture and the honey was not too sweet or thin. the brownie was delicious and fudgy but my associate said it wasn’t crispy enough for her liking. my other associate highly rated the hummus in the falafel mezze bowl and thought the salad was reasonably fresh. regardless of the quality of food available at “pret”, it was the only food option open in gate d. this lived up to my exact expectations.

Unfortunately, not only expensive, but also crappy in terms of quantity. According to the price table, Cafe Creme should be 340 ml. Unfortunately only a small cup came out. Answer: That's just the way it is, we only have one button on the machine and we don't know what the sign says. You have no idea who did it. :-( Therefore, unfortunately only 1 star today.

Cashier tiped more drinks than ordered, we only noticed after checking the receipt as we felt 18 chf for two Americanos are extreme even for Swiss standards. Turns out the cashier also charged us 6.90 for a water we did not buy or consume. When asking for a refund, she told us this is not possible. The shift manager appeared eventually and suggested she, the cashier, either pays us back out of her own pocket or we go over the customer service for a refund. That the even the supervisor cannot void a order is completely unprofessional processing. I am currently still waiting to hear back for the refund and apology and will update this review depending on the reaction. Would not recommend.

Super nice store, i love Pret... The staff was super friendly and i got a big smile from the girl behind the counter. I will come again. Txs

Best coffee and price to spend time waiting for your flight. Comfortable lounge

Unfriendly, three people stand there, two of them do blah blah, the other falls asleep while serving. But there are many other coffees here.

Traditional breakfast cappuccino croissant Orange juice

One of the worst of its kind! Very rude staff,unfortunately,it is the only store open to buy a sandwich at this airport! Very high price with terrible quality!

If your waiting for a connecting flight, this is one of the few places to grab a coffee and croissant. If you feel like popping champagne because you are happy you made it, they have that too. They accept USA dollars and will convert it for you and all major credit cards. Hot and cold sandwich’s are available depending on when you get it. Seating is limited and people just sit around even when they’re done eating.

Good espresso close to gate 39. Also drinks, snacks and sandwiches.

Best coffee in Dock D! Very friendly staff who make sure you have a great service experience. Will come back!

Limited COVID offer, all far from usual quality....Come on Pret you know you can do better don't cut corners on the produce you sell for the same price as before....
