I ordered Korean BBQ beef through Just Eat and paid CHF 40. What I got is 50g of sliced ​​beef with a bunch of salad and water that I never ordered. If the GM doesn't react. NEVER AGAIN plus bad advertising. I'm so damn angry

I really like their food truck near HB and decided to go here. The food is really delicious, especially Bao, but the portions are so small :( what you can see in my pictures worth 39 CHF + there was 1 mochi as desert. You can go to any place with this money and leave full.

Food was so-so, but service was good. Got the Peking Duck but they just fried the duck - so not the authentic way of making the duck.

It tastes really good. I personally recommend the pork belly with plums. The fried chicken steak is Japanese-style and I think it is good. The fried buns are also quite good. Although the price is not too cheap, the taste is really good. I would like to bring foreign friends to eat. Restaurants to watch 👍

Their Char Siew Rice and Fried Rice were one of the best we have eaten! The Char Siew was so well marinated and roasted. And the Fried Rice was so tasty and fragrant. Although the price of their food was on higher side, it’s totally worth the try!

Very good but they have taken all but 2 types of dumplings from their menu, so unfortunately I won't be coming again as I only ever came for these.

The food and service were excellent. The momos were the best I've ever eaten. Very friendly and competent service. We'll definitely come back.

Fabulous handmade ravioli. Otherwise excellent quality with prices in line for Zurich and Switzerland (high). Strangely they don't make rice.

Best shanghei bao's in the world

A small oasis in the middle of Zurich. And in the inner courtyard of the Klingenpark you can also enjoy a cozy and fine meal in the “garden seating area”.

The restaurant is not far from the HB and is very simple. Here the focus is definitely on the food and not on the interior. I've already been to Shanghai and Hong Kong and I can say that the food at Wesley's is just as good as there and therefore very authentic 🙏🙏 thank you for that! The Xiao Long Bao in particular were very, very good! Price-performance is more than fair for Zurich. Keep it up 👏 We would have liked to eat the Peking duck, but you can't expect that at lunch. Maybe next time it will work in the evening 😊

I often ate there and chicken katsu always comes with rice. I ordered uber eats and it came without rice. Only noticed when we arrived and they wanted 4.50 so that it came with rice!!! So I paid 21.50 for chicken katsu so that it came without rice. And on the phone they were very disrespectful and simply put the phone down. Imagine I order the same burger at home as in McDonalds and it comes without bread and you are told you have to pay an extra 4.50 for it. impudence. Never eat there again. I've also told friends who eat there and they won't eat there anymore either.

Way too expensive : the bbq pork with shrimps is actually a very tiny bowl of fried rice where you look for the pork. The butter chicken is served without rice and if you want some, you have to add 4CHF for it. The food is really good anyway but should be served in much bigger quantities.

Dumplings completely burnt on the bottom. Not possible to eat them. You can not sell food in this conditions dangerous for health of people.

If you want to eat udon noodles🍜 I’d recommend there restaurant it’s fantastic. And their chicken butter is also one thing I’d recommend it. There service is good as well. I had a pleasant dinner…. Thx u

It is a fusion restaurant rather than an authentic Chinese restaurant. (A combination of xiao long bao and sushi rolls) Chili shrimp stir-fried chicken cutlet, rice and iced tea were 57.5 francs, and although the portion was not large, it was delicious~

No rice is served with 25CHF dishes, even upon request? The eggplant smelled like sewage and the rice bun we specially ordered with it was dry as a stone! The dumplings taste like kötbullar and the cucumber salad for 9CHF was half a cucumber with a little vinegar and water :/ I could go into more detail about the other dishes but I don't feel like wasting my time on that! Don't go there under any circumstances unless you want to waste money on inedible food!

The food was good, but you can get it elsewhere for a better price, portions are much too small and extremely overpriced, a side dish is a must. Can be ordered separately, for a small Asian piece of bread 3.50.- We have now been to Weslays exactly three times, the first, only and last time.

Asian cuisine from different regions. The boss, who spoke German very well, explained to us that the Chinese dishes from our take-away in China are not eaten in the restaurant. Everything was very tasty, every dish had its own taste. Not everything smells like nut oil.

There is only a very, very small selection of drinks there. The homemade iced tea I ordered smelled like BBQ sauce and didn't taste particularly good, which is why I strongly advise against it. The employees speak little or no German, but that's not particularly bad. However, in terms of price/performance it looks terrible here, even for Zurich. I would rather recommend one of the surrounding restaurants. Overall therefore 1-2 stars.

Went there for the first time, usually I drop by the pop-up store at HB. There weren‘t that many choices on the menu, and also the menu differs from lunch to dinner. Overall it was a quiet and comfy atmosphere, decent food. I prefer the pop-up store :)

I tried their pork dim sum at the street food in Lausanne. They were excellent, I gave 4 stars because I found the price a little high, but otherwise it was very good

Small restaurant with limited selections and kind of expensive.

I don't understand all the good reviews that brought us here. It started with the lack of communication. The ice tea tasted like barbecue sauce. The food was bland and had a strange, powdery consistency. When we asked for soy sauce to try to save it a little, we actually received vinegar. The dilemma was perfect. Never again. Prices are outrageous too!!

I had heard so many great things about this place before.. The baos where really good but for the rest I would say average. Especially the Beijing duck was bellow standards. Prices are high for the portions, there are definitely better choices even in the expensive city of Zurich..

Overall decent 👍 Not many places are open on a Sunday or even for brunch/lunch time so this satisfied enough! I ordered: Wesley Plum Iced Tea $6.50 CH = it was okay, not bad but not my favorite / wouldn’t order again…but glad I tried it! 1 pork dumpling / Shanghai bao $2.40 CH = good! Crispy bottom and fluffy dough… pork was good, wish it was bigger. 1 shrimp dumpling / Shanghai bao $2.80 CH = okay. Wish there was more shrimp inside, not much flavor… I prefer the pork for sure! 1 Peking duck $28 CH = also decent. The duck was a bit dry but duck is hard to cook and keep juicy so it was expected. The portion was enough for me but I am small so it may not be enough for someone else…. I finished everything! The wrap/pancake were more like a tortilla texture than what I’ve experienced from the States, Beijing, and the UK. But the taste was similar. A bit tough though :/ Service was adequate. I was the only customer bc I visited within the hour of opening. But when I arrived, the indoors smelled of cigarettes. The ambiance is cozy. I’m not sure what the other photos from other reviews are about that it made me confused if I was at the right place upon arriving. Pricing is as expected. You’re not getting a deal by any means but given that Zurich is one of the most expensive cities in the world, the pricing seemed fair. Overall, I’d give this place a 3.5 star ⭐️ I’m not sure if there are any authentic Cantonese or Chinese cuisine in this area but this place will do 👌🏼

Price performance is really bad… In addition, the dishes such as butter chicken were below average in terms of taste. If you order anything the bao's of everything else you will be disappointed. There were also complications with ordering because the service only spoke limited German and didn't understand us well, which meant that we didn't get exactly what we ordered. I will no longer visit Wesley's Kitchen nor recommend it to others.

A fantastic place to have authentic Chinese food! We loved the dumplings!!! To die for!!! We tried the shrimp and pork fried rice and the beef noodles as well, they were really good! The service is so personal and warm, we enjoyed the cozy atmosphere as well.

Very good for take-away. Not exactly cheap... but you know that beforehand. Language barrier at the checkout about to break through...

I’ve been here years ago and had very good time, unfortunately now everything has changed.. starting from the atmosphere which is quite cold and awkward to finish with the food which is very average (but rather on the low side..). I’m sorry to write a bad review but the experience was disappointing.

Purchased some chicken noodles at the food stand in front of Letzipark. I had to look for the chicken. Awful taste. Burned. Too expensive. Stomach problems. Never again!!!

I went to a stall at the Christmas market. It seemed like the owner was very rude. I got yelled at for no reason. There was really no need to go spend any more money. Update: Sorry, I can't reply to your message directly, so I will reply to you here. I went to Wienachtsdorf beim Bellevue, a stall facing the street. I have never experienced such a rude restaurant owner in Europe for more than ten years. I am glad to see your reply. It is good that someone cares and wants to make improvements.

I can only review the food truck at HB. Unfortunately, the dim sums were cold and stuffed with a lot of sticky rice. Almost no meat or vegetables. I don't recommend it at all.

Attention everyone! This store still has the original sign, but after changing its owner, you can no longer eat authentic Xiao Long Bao! The store owners are not Chinese anymore, and they are fooling people with Yachao’s frozen Xiao Long Bao. The food was terrible. Reminder: Ask questions in Chinese after entering the door. If you don’t understand, you can leave.

Very disappointing experience. This used to be one of my favorite restaurants. Unfortunately the ownership has changed and the quality of the food has massively declined—soup dumplings with no soup, reheated BBQ pork. A real shame and expensive to boot. :-(

We had dinner at this small restaurant after choosing it thanks to the good reviews. We ordered the dumpings which are the restaurant's specialty and they were excellent as were the BBQ pork and the prawns. Everything really great!

Good serving, enough for sharing. However, dumplings tasted like something bought from the grocery store. Too much flour. Food description in the menu was misleading, like the Butter chicken, we were surprised to be served with a “curry” like chicken dish. Taste is average, not too appetising. Fried rice was slightly wet in texture.

We were recommended by friends and saw many good reviews of this place, so we tried it. I have to say I was disappointed. The dishes are all written in authentic Chinese names, which raised my expectation in getting some really authentic Chinese food. In the end, they were not that authentic... Also the Xiao Long Bao 小笼包 or Shanghai Bao 生煎 tastend ok, but have way too thick dough. The portions are so small. Bad experience!

Got Chicken Katsu from their foodtruck, it's really a greasy chicken and some rice with little salad, and especially almost no sauce. I was thoroughly disappointed, there are much better Asian places in Zurich.

My boyfriend and I ate there last night. We had the pekin style dumplings and the crispy beef. The dishes seemed fine but we have now been deadly sick all morning. Not gonna comment on the taste or quality because no food is worth getting this much sick over. I'm not trying to drag this place down but to prevent this from happening again. Please check the quality of your products and how you conserve them.

Well, it was a pretty disappointing meal... Only the Shanghai Baos (with pork) - tasted somewhat okay. The other dishes we ordered were, firstly, below average in terms of taste and the price was far too high for the very small portions. It was also interesting that they don't sell a single portion of rice (that's what we were told when we asked), but they do sell fried rice for almost 20.00 (what a cheek!)…

Absolutely fantastic dumplings.

The dim sum in the food truck is overpriced and is warmed up in the microwave. The beef filling consists mostly of rice. The service was unfriendly and the food was carelessly thrown into a box.

Located right outside one of the entrances to Zurich HB train station with a few outdoor tables. Crispy pork dumplings were good - I thought I was ordering the crispy pork steamed buns though so that was a little disappointing. They were also very expensive at 18 CHF for 8 dumplings. The singapore noodles were tasty but not very authentic - the curry flavor was not strong enough but they gave a good number of shrimp.

Food truck food was really bad. When it came to the dumplings, I had the feeling that they were leftovers from the night before. Some of the dumplings were also colored blue. I didn't finish it because it made me sick. In terms of price, 18.- for 8 dumplings is simply excessive - lost money…

Nice but having rice for dinner would be great.

Worst Chinese food experience in Zurich and heavily overpriced. Go to Achi or Beyond for more authentic food where you will actually also see Chinese people dining. For DimSum/Xiao Long Bao, visit Uncle 7 instead (although I have yet to find a good XLB place in Switzerland... Would rather wait for when I am in Asia and eat Din Tai Fung). If you like europeanized fusion food and don't mind to pay $$$$, visit Wesley's.

Dumplings Sunday lunch. In two we took: Peking Dumplings, Xiao Long Bao, 4 Shangai Bao (2 filled with shrimps and 2 with pork). Finally, 2 Pastel de Nata. We really liked everything and the prices are quite honest for Zürich. So I would recommend this restaurant

Very expensive, tiny portions and the crispy beef was inedible… and not crispy at all! Chicken katsu was delicious, but 17 francs for a small chicken schnitzel without any side dishes is a bit cheeky!

It's not bad, but it's overrated. Price/performance is not good. 80 CHF per person for a rather quick dinner without a bottle of wine or cocktails is too much with this level of service. Not everything we ordered came and we ended up with too much on the bill. The food is OK, but it didn't blow me away. Maybe they had a bad day today, only been there once.

Wesley's kitchen is best described as "inventive", "exciting" and "unexpected" - all of which I mean in the best way! This is nothing like your typical Euro-chinese restaurant. Instead, you delight in small plates of deliciously complex dishes that reinvent chinese cuisine in a modern way. All you order can be shared with friends, as this restaurant's concept is a little bit like tapas. Prices are okay, for Zurich levels anyway. We were three people and spent 98 francs. Had we been very hungry, it would have cost more though. Overall, it was very much worth it...just stay clear of the beers!

Rarely have Chinese food been so good

Food quality was alright, but in my view you can get much better value at other places (eg Khujug). Was curious since it seemed quite popular, but I suppose it's because it seems more approachable to non-Asian customers compared to some other places.

The food is ok and heavily overpriced. Plus, they don't know what hospitality means. We went for dinner, and we wanted some rice in addition, but they don't serve rice for dinner. You need to order fried rice with shrimps (3-4 pieces) for 28CHF. Even though we spent nearly 250CHF for dinner. Is it really so difficult to boil some rice if your guests asking for it? Well, we won't go there again.

Very tasty food. It has to be kept in mind that most of the dishes are served as "tapas" and all or most are not served with sides which have to be ordered additionally.

Service: poor, had to wait over 40 minutes for food the last time, even though there weren't many people. Food: generally very good. but unfortunately not consistently the same quality. Please improve the service; the speed! It can't be that you have to keep asking. especially at the rather high prices. nevertheless we will go again; Then hopefully I can give more stars again.
