Hidden Gem in Lucerne! We had the best evening and best food !! We could choose from a buffet what to eat, take as often and as much as wen want for CHF 15(every Sunday!)! The service was phenomenal, everyone was so kind and we received some tea as well to try 🥰 Can’t wait to be back there!

Food was great, highly recommended. Staff friendly and accommodating. Prices are appropriate for the selection and individuality of the restaurant.

Exceptional Eritrean/Ethiopian atmosphere, friendly service, reasonable prices and great porties. Then get het vermogen about sphere en design te verbetern. We hebben like gegeten. Delicious Eritrean/Ethiopian food, very friendly service, reasonable prices and large portions. They have the ability to improve atmosphere and design. We had a nice dinner.

The food was very tasty and was prepared quickly, which is not common for Eritrean restaurants. The employee was very friendly and you could enjoy the food in peace.

Super tasty injeras, beautifully prepared food. It's a shame: unfortunately the placemats are stained, the service is inattentive and unprofessional. (E.g.: In other Ethiopian restaurants, water and towels are handed out with hands before/after eating)

I really liked the food and the experience feels authentic.

Authentitic and great food. They are suuper friendly and welcoming. We are usually the only "european" folks in there - so it really seems to be a hidden gem. We love it and eat there frequently 🎉 They also deliver to the lucerne region.

Very tasty Eritrean/Ethiopian food, friendly service, fair prices, parking spaces in front of the house. We were practically the only guests not from Africa, which seems to be (still) an insider tip. This is certainly helped by the fact that the restaurant cannot be recognized from the outside for what it is: the restaurant is labeled "Pizzeria Reusszopf", so you shouldn't let that confuse you.

Absolutely GORGEOUS dinner My girlfriend and I visited Raena for the first time aftee years of trying all kind of international food propositions within Switzerland and abroad. From all our trials for Eritrean and Ethiopian cuisine Raena proved absolutely outstanding. Very humble in appearance, together with an amazing good heart on the chefs’ and waitresses’ side, the food that was served was so delicious and healthy (we have also experienced unfortunately how unconscious non healthy foods may ruin a meal). Abbiamo scoperto questo piccolo locale per caso cercando un eritreo su internet. Diciamo che non è facile da trovare e bisogna andarci di proposito (non è nelle zone turistiche della città), inoltre l'indignazione inganna visto che ha ancora il nume della vecchia pizzeria, comunque la fatica di trovarlo ne vale la pena. Presto molto accogliente con una bella terrazza e ampio spazio interno. Cucina autentica, tiro il personale è eritreo e quando siamo andati noi anche tutti gli ospiti!I piatti sono solitamente servito come da tradizione in una grande certa centrale con all'interno del pane tipo crepe sul quale sono adagiati i vari cibi. Si mangia con le mani servendosi del pane appunto. Si richiesta si possono avere piatti separati. Appena entrati una ragazza gentilissima ci ha illustrato il menù e portato dell'uva appena colta dalla terrazza. Prezzi ottimi (un mix vegetariano e una porzione di manzo, 2 vie grandi e un acqua minerale meno di 60.-)porzioni più che abbondanti.Assolutamente consigliato!
