I celebrated my birthday in this restaurant and was able to be pampered: very good cuisine, great service and a pleasant atmosphere. The wishes of the guests are taken into account. I can recommend the 3-5 course menu.

I have been a guest at the Rebstock for more than 30 years. We celebrated many family celebrations there with fine food. No other restaurant suited us as well as the Rebstock. Now I went there again for dinner and was very disappointed. Mixed vegetables from the bag on the plate. I was shocked. All these years I have always been happy about the fresh and delicious vegetable side dishes. It's a shame, because the service and staff are still super friendly and professional! I'll probably have to find a new restaurant.

Essen December 25, 2023. There were 3 of us and we were seated next to a large group; it was loud and we could hardly talk. Food: the green salad was limp and drowned in sauce, simply loveless, you can get the fresher salad in a take away. The cream schnitzel was ok so far but nothing special was not well seasoned, just run of the mill. I had stomach ulcers at home. We will avoid this restaurant in the future.

We also found the restaurant to be expensive and there wasn't enough parking space. We were also served warm beer and the beef fillet was tough. It is unfortunate that the service did not meet our expectations. Friendly and attentive service is an important aspect of a successful restaurant visit. The food should always be served at the right temperature to ensure full enjoyment. It's disappointing that the restaurant was expensive and there was limited parking. This can affect the overall experience. It is a shame that our visit to the Rebstock restaurant in Seengen was not satisfactory. I hope we will have better dining experiences in the future.

Service friendly and quick. Salad fresh but watery. Venison schnitzel was good but red cabbage was a bit musty and Brussels sprouts were tasteless. Consequently, the price/performance ratio is unfortunately not right.

The Rebstock really has excellent cuisine. Today we went out to eat game and everyone was thrilled. The food is also beautifully presented to the eye. In terms of price, the restaurant is in the upper segment, but the price/performance ratio is right. The service staff is friendly and you don't have to wait long for service.

Today, Saturday, June 3rd, 2023, four of us wanted to enjoy an aperitif on the terrace at 5:15 p.m. We only wanted to stay until 6 p.m. because we were attending an event afterwards. The waiter brushed us off and sent us to the competition because all tables were supposedly reserved from 6 p.m.... Opposite in the castle tower we were served very courteously and warmly.

We've been there for dinner again for a long time. Since we came with children, we reserved a table with a bench if possible. We were assigned a wonderful place. There were already coloring pages and pens ready for the children. The entire evening was very warm and attentive. - Simply top service. Our food requests were also addressed precisely. The food was very good and in a good portion. We went home with a wonderful gastronomic experience and will definitely come back!

We have been visiting this restaurant for about 30 years and have not been disappointed once. Today we went there with friends for the first time after the change of ownership. And what can I say, just great. The food was first class and the service deserved 10 stars. Mr. Joder is by far the best waiter we have ever had. Conclusion from tonight, we will come back!

We were given a very friendly welcome and they even made sure that we were given a table in the lower area of ​​the Stübli, as our mother had difficulty walking and had a bit of trouble climbing stairs. It's a shame that this restaurant has changed so much for the worse. We called and made a reservation for 2 people (didn't mention the 3m old baby in Maxicosi, we never had to elsewhere and was therefore new to us). As a greeting, the boss pointed condescendingly at our child, smiled at us & snapped at us in a tone that said "And that, are those two people?" We tried to find a solution with him, it wouldn't be a big deal (baby on us, Maxicosi on the floor, window sill)...instead of listening, a table was moved around in annoyance and we were escorted to the seat. Other staff also had to add their two cents in front of other guests. Tell me, is it still okay? A normal conversation tone & note would have been enough. This is unprofessional & not family friendly. If everything hadn't happened so quickly, we would have left the restaurant! Food ok after a long wait (for salad & cordon bleu). Unfortunately, the atmosphere was still poor: We were served quickly, no questions from the service staff regarding further drinks or satisfaction, clearing away while someone was still eating. We have always been very satisfied and recommended the restaurant to others. Definitely not after this visit. That was our last one with you!

We wanted to order something “to go” on site. Response from the employee: “We are too busy at the moment and cannot serve you”. The guests who came after us and wanted to eat in the restaurant were then welcomed. Very incomprehensible to us, as in our opinion it requires less effort to "just" prepare the take-away food than to serve the guests at the table, take orders, set the table, clear away, clean, etc. We felt discriminated against and will no longer visit the restaurant or recommend it.

As always: Beautiful rooms, very pleasant atmosphere, friendly service and excellent cuisine.

After visiting Hallwil Castle, we decided to stop by the Rebstock on a Sunday lunchtime. No reservation but we still got a table. Very nice service and the game dishes tasted excellent.
