I go there regularly because the products from the bakery, including the roastery, are great. You shouldn't expect anything when it comes to service: the waitresses have to ask because they don't listen, until the coffees are prepared you have the chance of missing the train. The ambience is so-so: customer guidance at the counter is poor because there is no clear queue due to the column. If you sit at a table, you have the choice of hitting your knees on the table leg or hitting your head on the lamp. Why do I give 4 stars? Because the products are great and regularly give me a great start to the day. PS: You can also order breakfast, which I have done several times.

Great coffee, great atmosphere, great desserts, and sandwiches. The only downside was when I asked for water and the guy wanted to charge me for Tap Water! Not use to that, specially if you are paying 6 CHF per coffee cup :).

Great coffee and high quality sweet and salty baked goods just a few steps from the Bern main train station west entrance. Nice!

Waited 10 minutes and wasn't served or ignored. Why are everyone working at the counter for the to-go guests and no one pays attention to the guests who want to consume at the table? Otherwise the baker is top, the quality of the bread is top notch. However, this is no reason to treat guests with arrogance.

Great coffee and super fresh quarkinies with lots of fluffy mixture. The cardamon coffee, which was new to me, also tasted great. Nice atmosphere and really nice staff.

Every time I go during my coffee break between 9:30 a.m. and 10 a.m., there's almost nothing left, especially not chocolate rolls, because it's already sold out. Please order a few more pastries!

We only got a coffee to go and sandwiches here. They were fresh n good. Not amazing, but it’s near the train station so it was convenient and quick to grab n hop on the train.

Coffee is good, just self-service. Picking up at the bar doesn't really fit in with the offer.

Fantastic selection of different coffee variations and delicious confectionery that you can enjoy directly from the shop window. Train tracks can be reached in 2 minutes. My tip “Berner Schale” and fine Reinhard nut croissants 😋 Top cafeteria 👌✨👍

The coffee gets 5 stars, the sandwich with tomato mozzarella gets 5 stars, the French apple cake gets 5 stars, the seed bread isn't particularly 3 stars and the waitress could be a bit friendlier - the young man was friendly and open

Coffee really good, nice place, bright, pleasant. For the staff, however, the guests seemed to be more of a side note or a necessary evil - they were more concerned with themselves and the latest news from their private lives. For this price (for self service) I expect a little more.

Nice café with the possibility of drinking on site. There are many types of coffee and typical local pastries, both to be consumed fresh and to take home as a gift. I tried the raisin bun, very soft and not too sweet. The staff is friendly and fast.

Worst coffee ever! Filter coffee was not drinkable.The quality of the bakery is however much better than the coffee.

Best coffee near Bern train station and a fantastic selection of baked goods and snacks. Personally, I love the Quarkini with coffee - but the breads are also of special quality. Only the seating could be a little more cozy and comfortable…

The coffee is still one of the best and so are the baked goods - BUT The new store design is quite laborious and there is no natural customer flow. It's confusing especially because the natural direction of walking is simply not where the servants are. That's a real shame, especially because it creates a strange atmosphere between customers and employees right from the start. And then the employees got it. Someone in the boss should think about this again 🤫😉

Bakery with delicious breads and other baked goods. With the collaboration of the roastery there is also the possibility of take-away coffee of better quality than anywhere else. Consumption is also possible on site, but there is very little seating. Coffee beans from the roastery are also sold.

I found this cafe when looking for some nice roaster in Bern. The service was excellent and very fast. They have some nice baked good as well which was really fresh and tasty. The coffee was very well prepared and also very good. The shop itself was very nicely designed but more around take away and less about sitting there which was also ok. I recommend you to try it if you are in the area.

Very nice atmosphere and delicious specialty coffee (priced accordingly) and pastry. I felt at home. They also sell coffee makers of various sorts, E.S.E pads of locally roasted coffee and cups/ecological mugs.

For a long time the Beck was inconspicuous in this place. And then the roastery came along. This impulse has done this place good and now it has grown into a cozy place for a great Kafi & Summiti in the morning. The team is friendly, relaxed, open and creates a feel-good atmosphere. Definitely recommended! I like being here.

Good coffee, pleasant atmosphere. If you're looking for peace and quiet - this is the right place. In addition, to the central location: Bubenberg Platz (in Bern) is an intersection for: University; direction to the old town; Monbijou; West Bern (West Silk). Worth a visit! It could become a (nice) habit.
