It was OK, bakery/café quite nice and nicely decorated, the products nicely presented. As is the case everywhere, the selection is quite large, the hospitality and speed could be improved. Unfortunately, it didn't really impress me; I've already been to better places.

What a disappointment when I bit into frozen tomatoes in my tomato mozzarella sandwich today. Are sandwiches actually frozen here and sold fresh on Monday as if nothing were there? And of course it's anything but cheap?!

Very pleasant café with a good and tasty selection. Pizzas are made fresh directly in front of the customers at lunchtime. I found the service to be very accommodating. Super good coffee, which was even brought to my table (at 12.30!), which hardly ever happens in the "Agglo" these days.

One of the few bakeries that has apricot donuts. Thank you very much for that!

You have to ask why these bakeries in Zurich are so bad. Poor pay. Long commute. Well, I don't take it personally. We live in a time. It's no longer like it used to be when people were happy to give tips.

I have mostly tried their coffee, brownies and the burrata-ham sandwich. All of them have been consistently excellent. I don't have an opinion on the rest of their regular menu. Sitting in their local is always very nice, with a chill environment, good service, clean and tidy. Besides that, during Easter they make an outstanding Österchuechli. 1000% recommended :D

Prices are rising, the bread is becoming lighter and lighter, e.g. Pöstler bread initially 500g, a year later only 450g and this morning only 400g at a price of CHF 5.30. The weight isn't even listed in the online shop anymore. I'll buy the bread at the Coop again.

It's a shame that the food would have gotten 5*. Cheeskake was very small but very good. Unfortunately there is neither Prosecco nor wine so nothing to toast and linger longer. Although there is also pizza, there is no alcohol. The service was very special, nothing was allowed to be brought to the table and she only made the tea once we had paid. It wasn't surprising to us that we were the only ones in the restaurant the whole time...Prices were a bit overpriced for the small portions (the latte macchiato was also very small).

At lunchtime and despite the huge rush, the saleswomen were very nice, calm and confident. The sandwiches were warmed up...very very tasty. Quality great. Later a saleswoman came to us and asked if everything was OK and if we needed anything else. Untypical for a bakery service, but commendable. I would recommend it. Keep it up...

Producing the worst almond croissant in a country that is deservedly not known for its baked goods is quite an achievement. But apparently people still buy the stuff. The customers deserve an even worse rating than the bakery. Edit: In the meantime I got to know the lunch special - unfortunately. At 12.30 p.m. there are heaps of loveless bread with standard fillings (sandwich spread, ham/salami, egg, cucumber - you're lucky if they don't add tasteless industrial cheese in between). So I ask myself in 2022: Who buys this stuff??? And at these prices!

Great location, deliciously fresh pastries, and very welcoming staff. I would happily have my breakfast here every day if I could!

Great staff and quality products @ Schaffhauserstrasse 21 - I cannot understand why the average rating is only 4.0, unless it is for the overall chain. This store is of the best in Zurich for sure.

Cozy friendly staff. Large selection

I love this place. But today the service is way too clumsy, there are no custumers though all tables are dirty, no napkins on tables, coffe is barely warm.

A bit disappointed, the bread is good so much. The sandwiches are bland and very sparingly topped. The prices are high so I expect a little more. The saleswoman was nice but a bit slow, it took a full 10 minutes before I could leave the store even though I only bought a sandwich. I don't have to have it again, the competition has it better.

Visited shortly before 5 p.m. There were used dishes on several tables that had not been cleared away. Although practically no customers came, the tables were not cleared or cleaned. The waitress almost exuded disinterest. When the music stopped at 5:30 p.m., I thought it was probably closing and left the restaurant. As I was leaving I realized the place was open for another hour. But everything was done to create an uncomfortable atmosphere. It will be my only visit.

Unfortunately, I was served very unfriendly every time and the customer in front of me was very harshly reminded of the requirement to wear a mask. In my opinion, the prices are far too expensive for the mediocre quality of the baked goods. It's a shame, I won't be shopping there anymore, even though I live nearby.

Pastry products and coffee are very good as always. The experience was somewhat marred by the smell from the pizza oven. After 30 minutes in the restaurant, the clothes smelled like pizza. The ventilation could therefore be improved.

I became a loyal and satisfied customer of the bakery during the pandemic. The pizzettes are very delicate and perfect for a light lunch. The sfogliatelle remind me of the holiday seasons in Napoli 🔅🔅

Unfortunately the worst Black Forest cake I have had in my 56 year old life. Just biscuits, cream and very little jam. That's almost an imposition on the palate. This is where the accountant bakes.

After the Gnädinger on Schaffhauserplatz closed, I was looking for an alternative. The selection of rolls and croissants is extensive and they are very tasty. It is also positive that confectionery products are available and the shop is open on Sundays and public holidays. But the prices are outrageously high. The staff is generally friendly, but sometimes behaves very strangely. When I was once overcharged for a croissant, I was cheekily asked whether I wanted another croissant or a refund for the overpaid amount. Not a word of apology. Another time I was packed with a crippled (i.e. smaller, lighter) roll without asking me first or giving me a discount. It would also be a sign of the customers' appreciation if, when there were several customers in the store, the employees put aside their other work and served the customers first.

Tip top products, quality and service

Good pastry, the schoggi quarkinis are the best!

1. Way too expensive. 2. They are always out of chocolate croissants and dinkel plus bread. Seriously, how difficult is it to plan the baking when you know you have a huge demand of a specific product? 3. It takes too much time to order and this is because the workers are incredibly slow. 4. Nobody speaks A WORD of English, so when you takeaway, you'll end up with flavored croissants you didn't ask for. This happened so many times I decided to write this review.

We have been to the Wüst Bakery several times now, as we live directly across the street. Unfortunately, the rolls were always very dry and carelessly topped. I just expect more from a baker. You can also get better cakes in any Migros/Coop. The only things I can recommend are Swedish cake and panna cotta. I hope that this review will help the quality improve in the future and that I can then write a better review.

Our daughter wanted to buy fresh rolls from the bakery for Mother's Day. She went there alone and waited a relatively long time for her turn. She was turned away by the staff and said she didn't have any vegan rolls/bread. Her disappointment was great. When we asked over the phone, it turned out that they had absolutely vegan rolls. This is now the second time in this bakery that the staff didn't feel like reading the contents of their products...

Was here today for the first and last time. Prices tend to be on the higher side, but the staff at check-in were unfriendly and I had ordered a small calzone, which was supposed to be warmed up, but was left cold and carelessly on the table! The service staff apparently wanted to eat themselves and had a warm pizza served from the oven. When I asked her if she would eat her pizza cold, she said she had warmed the calzone in the oven for 2 minutes.... It would be nice if she did Guests will be treated like this... never again!!!!

As a bakery it's okay, as a café/restaurant it's a bit cramped, expensive, loud. The pizza, however, is excellent!

The staff doesn't even deserve this star... I gave it a chance every time but nothing has changed, unfortunately. (Woman with black hair and glasses) was very unsympathetic today, shouted at me from a distance which sauce I wanted, even though I already said... she also seemed very unmotivated and stressed. Last week I had breakfast with my friend, we ordered at the counter and paid. They told us they would serve us what we bought at the table, after 30 minutes of waiting it worked, but the croissants were missing. Of course we complained about it back to the counter after a while they served it to us, no excuse, nothing, just put it down and continued... Nevertheless, good luck!

This review concerns the café and not the products that deserve 5 stars: We regularly and actually really enjoy coming to this café on Sundays to have breakfast. In principle everything would be there: cozy atmosphere and delicious butter croissants. However, as a guest you have to fight hard to get your order. Table service? No, you have to wait in line at the checkout for a long time to order a coffee and croissants. The goal of having breakfast in a café is, among other things, to relax. You have to earn it for the first time. If you then realize that you could still use something, you can wait in line for a long time again... This has already happened to us three times. Dear team, you're friendly, that's great. But you just have to offer your guests a better experience. How about a breakfast menu and dedicated service for the café? We would leave more money and come regularly. It's up to you. I hope I can convert the 2 stars to 5 soon :)

Delicious food & good coffee. The waitress (1 person, blonde with glasses) behaves catastrophically. She shouts at the guests across the entire store: as long as they don't pay, they won't get anything. Thanks, that was the last time. This can also scare away the guests and the cozy atmosphere.

It my be a bice place to have a coffee or something to eat, but be prepared that your dog will have to stay on the cold street. So if you are a dog owner DO NOT BOTHER to go to Wüst. To make a comment I had to leave a one stare , bat really for me big „0“. Agatha

Well-kept location, range is manageable, prices are in the higher range. Atmosphere appealing except for the constant, rather intrusive radio broadcast with lots of advertising (Italian stations), would really appreciate more peace and quiet in this regard.

Completely overpriced. The croissants are hardly better than in Migros and for a Nutella portion of 15g they charged 1.20 (which corresponds to a kilo price of 80.-) and then you don't even understand when you complain about the price. Overwhelmed service, quality ok, price miserable.

Bakery, pastry shop, coffee shop, baking courses also for children's birthday parties. Simply delicious. Unfortunately it's not exactly cheap either. But I can recommend a visit.

Nice bakery opened on Sundays. Great to go for breakfast, read the newspaper in a nice relaxed ambience. On Sunday u can buy there the newspaper to take home too.

Great selection of fine things, the best plait, also has spelled plait, giant nut croissants, quarkinis and even open on Sunday mornings. The best: baking classes for adults or children!
