We received extremely professional advice during the preparations. In the evening itself, the staff stood out for their extraordinary friendliness and attentiveness. From greeting guests to refilling drinks, adjusting music and lights, and clearing the buffet, the staff was always helpful and attentive. The size of the location was perfect and the facilities left nothing to be desired. In addition, the location was very easy to reach, which made the journey easier for our guests. Thank you, dear resident team, for the unforgettable evening! :-)

Our January experience at Resident was simply phenomenal! We celebrated a surprise birthday there with around 36 guests. We rented part of the Resident exclusively and the room layout was individually adapted to our needs. From the first moment we felt very comfortable and in good hands. The entire team was really very friendly! Your kindness and professionalism made our evening very special. The location, the organization and the service were uncomplicated, simply great and far exceeded our expectations. A huge thank you to Carlo and Sun and the whole team! You did it really well and with enthusiasm! Another highlight of our evening was the external catering for the Tavolata, which was incredibly good. Not only the birthday child, but every single guest was thrilled by the event - and that is not least thanks to the fantastic team. We would definitely like to come back and would be happy to recommend the resident at any time. For us it was not just an event, but an experience! Thanks again!

Good central place for Events close to the tram

We recently celebrated our wedding at the Resident and were thoroughly satisfied. From the first contact with management to the last drinks at 4am, everything was handled with great commitment, professionalism, kindness and patience. We are very grateful and can recommend the restaurant with a clear conscience, especially for weddings.

We have reserved the resident event space for a company event/final party with around 70 participants. The location, the organization and the service were uncomplicated, absolutely top and exceeded our expectations. A big thank you to Sun and his team. You do it brilliantly and with enthusiasm! We had our summer event there and have rarely received so much great feedback. The location is attractive and relaxed and offers a great ambience. The service was exceptionally friendly and motivated. The working places are very professional and can be reached quickly in the building - we had rented additional rooms in addition to the main location. Everything went very well and professionally. There was a good atmosphere all day and the final aperitif was a success for everyone involved.

Celebrated my graduation and 30th birthday in the residency. All of them exceeded my high expectations! The organization in advance was very professional and yet very relaxed and easy to handle. Location could be rented exclusively, room layout was made individually and adapted to my needs. The external Caterina for the aperitif was incredibly good, and there were several trained chefs present - all of whom were enthusiastic about the quality and presentation of the aperitif nibbles. The rest of the evening was also more than wonderful - especially the bar manager Grace. All guests were speechless with their service orientation and their use of charm and humor, but still very professional. She had her eyes everywhere, saw when glasses were empty and even addressed guests by their first name if she could catch it just beforehand. All in all just TOP! Can highly recommend the location.

The Resident is a unique bar in the beautifully located Seefeld in Zurich. The lavishly decorated rooms set the perfect environment for your occasion. The bar staff is high spirited and vibrant. The manager of the Resident does an excellent job. The owners are often on site, which will make you feel highly accommodated. A wide range of music sounds out of the newly installed speakers. The perfect mix between new & old, indulge in a trip down memory lane :) In addition, Resident supports Zurich's music scene and is aware of how important it is for a city to create a space for its local musicians. During Lockdown, a series of intimate concerts took place here. Alongside big names such as Domi Chansorn, you could enjoy music from many new talents. It is a place that is run with a lot of passion and makes you feel well right at home. This is the place.

In addition to the “response from the owner” below, the organizers of the event were also contacted to request that this comment be resolved. From my perspective, this comment is factual and mildly worded given the circumstances. I have no understanding of the call to delete this comment. The criticism is also correctly addressed, since you (owner) are also responsible for the behavior of the security, because external security company or not, you gave the order.

Very nice and pleasant place, excellent service, nice atmosphere

Discovered this gem by chance while driving past and was then able to organize a great company party (80 employees) there, including a band. Communication with Sun was uncomplicated and courteous from the start. Everything was possible and was implemented wonderfully. Great location with a feel-good atmosphere, cool furnishings, all the technology and options available. We definitely recommend this event location and would be happy to come back.

I had a great party with 50 guests and we had a great evening. Everything was perfect: the catering was excellent, the service was great. We had a live jazz band and a DJ. Best acoustics for partying!

Perfect location for a Company event in the heart of Zurich . A pleasantly lived-in environment in which one stays in touch with the world around. The informal meeting room allows the audience to feel part of the event . The staff is prepared and very efficient. Excellent food and drinks . An ideal mix to turn the event into an evening that many guests would have extended well past nine o'clock in the evening .

Security accused my colleague of doing coke in the toilet without any evidence. When I authorized the confrontation outside and filmed it from a public angle, my cell phone was physically stolen. Because I knew my rights, they then offered to delete the video and let me back in. No thanks. Be documented :)

Cool event location with friendly staff

I celebrated my birthday at the Resident and was completely satisfied. From the organization by Sun to the evening by Grace and her team, everything was perfect. The location is ideal for smaller and larger events and you basically don't have to worry about anything unless you want to. As in my case, I organized the food and dessert myself and having this flexibility was very pleasant. I would celebrate there again at any time ♥️🥳

The owner is extremely cheeky and aggressive. Not recommended. If I could give 0 stars I would do that. I would simply be ashamed if I were the operator. The only nice person there was the bartender.

Parking spaces are available around the building. Brilliant location & super friendly staff.

Awesome event location, celebrated my 30th birthday with a theme party here and had the best time. The place has a really cool atmosphere by itself and the staff is so friendly too. Very fair prices for Zurich aswell and very central in town! Would definitely recommend 10 out of 10.

Very chill interior and people. Cool to go there for a few hours and work :) Haven't tried the food, but I can recommend the iced tea!

Fondue area inside is cold and uncomfortable. A mute movie is playing on a large screen in the background reminiscing of shabby restaurants in south east Asia. Fondue overpriced and the only place in Switzerland where you leave hungry or have to order and pay an extra portion.

Design: cool Service: very, very friendly Food: Portions too small and therefore too expensive, taste wasn't really my thing either. Conclusion: More of a place to work and have a drink after work.
