We tasted the Peking Duck menu (to order) and were not disappointed. Everything was excellent and served generously. We left without feeling bloated. We can only recommend this family restaurant with smiling and friendly staff. We have been there before and we will definitely come back.

Jia Xiang in Geneva proved to be a delightful culinary discovery, offering a memorable dining experience that left us longing for more. Despite my initial desire to try the frog dish, my companion's preferences led us to explore other options on the menu. We opted for the beef curry, fried rice, and noodles, and we were pleasantly surprised by the exquisite flavors and impeccable preparation of each dish. The beef curry was rich and aromatic, while the fried rice and noodles boasted a perfect balance of flavors and textures. So exceptional was our dining experience that we couldn't bear to leave any leftovers behind, even without a microwave in our room. To our delight, the dishes retained their incredible taste even when enjoyed cold in the midnight hours. The restaurant's ability to deliver exceptional cuisine that transcends temperature is a testament to the skill and dedication of its chefs. With every bite, we were transported to a gastronomic paradise, making it difficult to bid farewell to Geneva knowing that such culinary delights awaited us at Jia Xiang.

Probably the best Chinese restaurant out there. Tasty cuisine with cordial staffs. They also have chef's special menu for each day for 19CHF, which is delicious. But you have to have time in hand as they take around 20 minutes to serve. They also close at 2.30 pm usually.

I've got a food poisoning here!! I was in this restourant on 30.08.2023 with my friend. I ordered tofu with pork. It was tasty, but next day early morning I was very sick. Will never do there again!!!

When we came that day, because the indoor seats were fully booked by tour groups, we sat outside. The waiter said that we should order first so that we can prepare our dishes first. Otherwise, there would be too many dishes for the tour group and the wait would be long, so we ordered one dish. I know it’s better to wait until all the food for the tour group has been served before serving us the food. It took about thirty or forty minutes and the quantity of food was too small, so it’s not worth the price.

Authentic taste, worth visiting!

There were not many customers at noon on Thursday, but there were seats inside and outside; the room was air-conditioned; the service was in place; I tried the fish-flavored shredded pork and beef noodles, and the portions were huge! It tastes good too! It’s just that water is expensive

Decent food, dismal service, cold dishes, rice arrived after eating and the last of the 5 guests received their cold dish 10 minutes after the other 4 had finished. Quarrel with staff. This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in Geneva. Delicious and reasonably priced. I have also seen large groups of Chinese tourists lined up here. It's not too spicy, so I don't choose a companion.

Extremely slow and unpleasant service. We arrived at 7:30 p.m. and left at 10:30 p.m. due to lack of attention from the staff. We waited more than half an hour for our dishes after finishing the starters (one of which arrived a quarter of an hour later and too salty) even though the restaurant was not even half full. The cuisine is rather authentic but spoiled by the service. Some of the staff were drinking alcohol and smoking on a nearby table with no regard for us. It's frankly disrespectful. I do not recommend until the service is greatly improved.

If Jay Chou's music is played, I will give it five stars.

Very good chinese restaurant with lots of Sichuan specialities. The food is great with authentic Chinese flavors, which is quite rare to find as there is a lot of “european-chinese restaurant” without real chinese taste. Service is fast and efficient. Well located close to the Cornavin station.

Nice, little cozy place. Nice and clean inside. Food was just ok. I ordered beef noodle soup and the broth was a little bland. I put some hot chili oil in it which made it a bit better. My friend ordered braised noodles and he said his was bland as well. He used chili oil too. Overall we give it an average rating.

If you want try authentic proper Chinese food, pop by this restaurant. The food quality is good, and they have a variety of item. If you like proper Chinese food, ask the staff for the 'chinese menu' and they would be happy to prep them separately. The portions are a bit small for the price, but it's worth it. The staff are friendly, and the owners are very accommodating for special orders and requests. Also, during lunar festival, the owner preps homemade lunar cakes 🥮, and they are good. Recommend the restaurant.

Every dish we ordered was uniquely bad. Either too salty or with unfresh ingredients.

Surprisingly, the dried tofu in stir-fried shredded pork with chives and bean curd was sour. The chef deliberately made it very salty to suppress the sourness, but it was too salty! Maybe salt is used on dried tofu, so the beef in sour soup has no salt and no taste at all. 3/4 of Malatang are vermicelli, and they are lumpy vermicelli, not worth the price at all, and the stir-fried beef is not authentic, the meat is Fried until very old, there was no pickled vegetables in the pickled pork fried rice, and the bacon was not Chinese style bacon. It was very salty. It was the first time I ordered all the dishes in a store and they were not delicious. When I came at 6 o'clock and waited until 7 o'clock, I only got one fried rice. A small stir-fried beef, the serving speed is really slow

Very good authentic Chinese cuisine

From the outside, it looks like a small and basic Chinese restaurant. But then you pass the door and enter and beautifully decorated place and you are welcomed by very nice staff. The food is really excellent and the service is perfect. Quantities are more than enough and price very reasonable. A great place I will definitely go back to!!! Thank you

This is the sister restaurant to Xiang Yu (the best Chinese restaurant in Geneva in my opinion). There are slight variations, but the two places are more similar than different in both price and quality. The dishes are authentic and tasty. The prices are a bit high but par for the course in Geneva. Overall, a great option for Chinese food.

Such a nice restaurant in the middle of the bustling city center. Their newly renovated place looks great and clean, and we were welcomed with their very friendly staff. The food also exceeded my expectation, so we will definitely be going back!

Hidden gem of Chinese in Geneva not far from train station (cornavin) this is like an old restaurant and not that fancy but food they have is one of the best. Very reasonable prices and great choices to pick from. This is a place where one can eat once a week. Excellent dumplings specially prawn one. Great hot chilli beef and tongue tangling chilly chicken. Excellent noodles and mix of other dishes to choose from. Do go to this place to get your flavour & spicy cravings get answered.

Tried the hot pot / Chinese fondue here for dinner for CHF 45 per pax, and the mala and normal soup taste legitimate good and authentic. The meat, seafood and vegetable were also give generously and they were freshly prepared. As tourists from Asia, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience of being able to steamboat by the road. Also, their jasmine honey tea was so good we ended up ordering 5 cups for 2 persons.

The taste is okay personally. But the environment is very noisy and noisy. The store was obviously only half full, but I had to wait 6 times to pay the bill, but no one came after a long wait. Very disappointing, we ordered fried rice and chicken (I don't remember the name) The rice had no taste and worst of all we found a staple in it. Then the chicken was the only thing that was good, the waiters were nice but we made no gesture even though we almost ate a staple, really very disappointed despite the kindness of the staff

Ordered delivery for the first time. It came on time & correct. The aubergine was excellent. Chicken Kung Pao was delicious & spicy. Noodles were not homemade but still very good. Crispy beef, so good!

The four of us ate noodle soup, roasted duck rice noodles, Guilin rice noodles, toothpick beef rice noodles, rice noodles, so delicious. I am very grateful to Geneva for having delicious Chinese food. I look forward to coming back next time 👍

I went to eat on April 29 with someone (better late than never ;)). As a starter, I had rolls (2, it's a bit light and small) and she had a spicy soup. Then, a salad, magnificent! I chose fried beef and rice. I wasn't disappointed but not thrilled with the meat which was a little too rubbery. The person with me also found it not great. To apologize, she gave me the option of changing and having the sweet and sour chicken and there, really nothing to say. Very fresh and very good. The person with me had shrimp noodles and it was also very fresh and very good. I would have given it a 4.5/5 but not possible but 4 is far too low and the quality and service was magnificent despite the small ones. I recommend !

Good food! I tried the hot pot with friends and I enjoyed it! My favorite thing about dinner though were these amazing buns with meat (I don’t remember which one) but they were so fluffy and delicious! Prices also okay 👌

Fake Chinese food. They served soy source to dip dumplings which was super weird. Dumplings should normally be served with vinegar. Guangzhou duck was fine. Overall everything was overpriced.

Amazing authentic Chinese food! Probably one of the best priced restaurants in Geneva, with no sacrifice in quality of service or taste. They give 10% off for students too! Just make sure to ask. I had the Sichuan fish stew, the mapo tofu, and the morning glory with garlic.

JaiWei is one of the best Chinese in Geneva. You can order a takeaway, delivery, or these days eat outside on the terrace. The sizzling chicken with basil is fantastic. I also recommend you shredded crispy beef, noodles and tofu dishes. Prices are also reasonable, and staff are friendly. They maintain their quality consistently.
