Chez Lin in Genève

The beef with black bean sauce from the Chez Lin restaurant is excellent, it is the best in Geneva.

Good but overpriced, especially the sides like rice, drinks and desserts.

One of the best restaurants of my life honestly, the service was wonderful there was only one servant for the entire restaurant. I recommend the wonton noodle soup, it’s so worth the price and the wait wasn’t long! it was so good I took it to go

Chez Lin, in the heart of Planpalais, is a Chinese restaurant that exudes authenticity and tradition, as if it has been passed down from generation to generation. Here, dishes are prepared with special recipes that evoke times gone by, making them even more special. The staff, and in particular the waitress, is a real charm: always smiling, friendly and willing to help at every step of your experience. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with decor that transports you directly to China. The menu is so extensive that you will get lost in the options, but what a delicious dilemma! The dumplings (“délices à la vapeur), the pork with si-chuan sauce and the beef noodles (“pâte de riz sautées au boeuf”) are simply delicious. Accompanying your meal with a Tsing Tao beer completes the experience. As for the prices, they are in line with the Swiss market, and for two people, with a starter, two main courses and two beers, the cost was around 70 Swiss francs. In Geneva, Chinese restaurants are numerous, but Chez Lin is definitely one I highly recommend. Also, for those who know how difficult it can be to find a restaurant open on a Sunday, here's a pleasant surprise: Chez Lin is open on Sundays! I can't wait to go back!

Walked in around 8pm for dinner. Hours say open till 11pm. Older man sitting there only spoke french. Told him we don't speak french. He asked us if we wanted something to drink or to eat. We said eat dinner. He said I don't serve you then, only drinks! So we left.

Chez Lin, although the restaurant does not have a very ostentatious decor, the welcome and kindness of the owner remains well above average and the service does not lag. If the cuisine is not really original apart from the chef's few specialties, he is very knowledgeable and only serves dishes of impeccable quality and freshness. Finally, the price of the bill does not in any way make you angry and has a serious taste of “come back” 😀👍. Good luck and above all see you soon.

Restaurant tranquille si vous allez manger en couple. La patronne est à l’écoute et rapide. Toutes les fois que je me suis rendu dans ce restaurant je n’ai pas été déçu. La fondue chinoise à volonté est bonne, ainsi que les soupes aux nouilles. Je crois qu’il y a un soucis avec les horaires marqués sur internet. Une fois je me suis rendu au restaurant et il était fermé alors que selon les horaires ça devait être ouvert... Des toilettes propres! Et prix accessibles! Je recommande

J'aime bien aller manger dans ce restaurant chinois. On y propose divers plats du jour avec entrée et plat principal à choix à des prix abordables. Il existe aussi de nombreux autres plats à la carte. Pour finir la propriétaire est très serviable et très aimable.

Service très souriant et patronne efficace, ça traîne pas!Nous avons déjeuné en commençant par des nems bien croustillants et bons pour continuer avec poulet aux cinq épices et crevettes à l’ail sur ardoise accompagné de riz cantonais. Classique. Pour les crevettes à l’ail ne prévoyez pas qu’un seul chewing-gum clairement pas suffisant !Le décor n’est pas top ,un peu vieillot, mais toilettes très propre. Après l’avantage des deux petites salles c’est qu’elles permettent un peu de discrétion pour les couples. Bon appétit !

Just strolling through the city, we walked in this Chinese restaurant so as to have a quick dinner. The food was very nice. Especially delicious dumplings as a starter. As to the service, it was very fast and the staff/owner was extremely polite and helpful. We’ll definitely return to eat in Chez Lin when we feel like having some Chinese food.

Tres deçu ca ressemblait vraiment a du rechauffé. Les serveuses sont sympa mais passent leur temps sur leur smartphone... Difficile de les appeler.
