The food, from the salad to the pizza to the veal steak, was very good (morel sauce was simply delicious :) The service was very attentive and friendly, even when the house was full! Thanks to Remo and his team… we'll definitely come back!

The fondue was very flaky and runny and no one liked it. Even a ready-made fondue from Aldi is better.

What a beautiful restaurant. There are 3 different rooms. We stayed in a really cozy one with lots of wood and beautiful decoration - an excellent mix of old, original furniture and new and I also found it very romantic. The service was very nice and attentive. Our food, capuns and cordonbleu were really delicious! A very successful and beautiful evening.

Went to the Spengler Cup between the afternoon and evening games. Reservation worked. The Cordon Bleu were very well proportioned and tasted very tasty 👍. The crew was probably prepared for the rush and the short period of time. Service including payments went smoothly and we had no stress at all for the Spengler Cup classic HCD-TEAM CANADA. First of all, a clarification! There has been a new tour of the restaurant since November 1st, 2023. The bad reviews were before the new team!!!! We had dinner with 10 people at the weekend. Even though it was busy and we had made a spontaneous reservation, the staff always provided friendly and courteous service. The food was excellent and the price ratio was right. Great atmosphere for a nice, relaxed evening. If I'm near Davos again I would go there again in a heartbeat. Is highly recommended!! Thanks to the whole team.

It is under new management and absolutely fantastic. Their specialties are pizza and fondue , but the other dishes were quite good. The wine selection is really nice as they have some special local wines. The white wine from. Malans Was especially Good. I would definitely go again and recommend dinner

As a group of 10 people, we were served courteously despite the house being full and registration at short notice. The food was excellent; Gladly again when traveling in Davos!! P.S. There is new management on the restaurant, so there are old insufficient reviews that are irrelevant.

The hotel was a bit old, but it retained its charm and was clean too. OK for 1-2 nights, but nothing more. Sorry.....

Held my birthday dinner here last weekend. Unfortunately our group was split onto two tables even though we made a reservation for our group. To add to this, we were charged CHF10.50 per bottle of water that came in a carafe, not a labelled bottle but rather just a regular old carafe. In total we paid over 120 francs for water. This is not normal for Switzerland. When asked why this water costs so much, they informed me this is because they filter the water themselves. Suffice it to say, I was not impressed by this baseless statement. I would recommend that they improve their strategy on this as it left a lot of people annoyed. As someone who own a restaurant themselves, I really hope you take this as constructive feedback. Reading through the other reviews here makes me think you don’t learn/adapt, however I can only hope that you improve your services from now on. I will most likely not return nor recommend this establishment to anyone I know.

We had the fondue, which unfortunately was far too little. We got a pot of cheese with 5 people, the table next door got the same with only 2 people. But bread was brought as much as we wanted.

Food is okay but actually too expensive. They are very picky with the reservations and you still have to pay for individual missing people if you don't give them 72 hours notice, that's not what I call hospitality.

Good pizza, fine food and friendly service!

Absolute favorite restaurant!! Homemade Cordon Bleu, pizza from Holzoffen, various cheese fondues, great lasagna and much more. For children you immediately get crayons, children's cards and children's cutlery :) I've eaten here several times and have always been very satisfied. The service is super nice and accommodating and the food is always delicious. The restaurant has a great ambience that invites you to linger. I can only recommend it!

The fondue tasted very strongly of alcohol. Tap water costs 10 francs per liter and we had a reservation for 11 people and there were 10 of us. We still had to pay for 11 even though we said at the beginning there were ten of us instead of 11. Bad unfriendly service. The crème brûlée was soft and the other desserts weren't worth the money either. Overall an unsatisfactory experience. Definitely cannot recommend this restaurant. There are much better ones in Davos.

The candles almost burned my hair as I turned to the window, definitely not a place for children. The food was ok, although very expensive for what it was, especially the dessert which seemed industrial. Coffee (5 chf) and tap water (10.5 chf) an insult, rather let the profit fall somewhere else, an insult. A disgrace to Davos tourism, go elsewhere.

The staff was very unfriendly and the prices were absolutely overpriced. We also had a reservation for the meal, unfortunately a friend got sick last minute and we still had to pay 50 CHF for her even though she couldn't come.

The staff is extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. The bottle was knocked over by the waitress and you don't get a replacement and the blame is instead placed on the guest. It doesn't work at all.

Cordon Bleu was still raw inside. I can't recommend it.

Food is ok, nothing exceptional but ok. However the tap water for 10.50 CHF a liter is the craziest thing I saw in a long time! And they kept bringing them without even asking us… sorry but I cannot suggest you to come here.

They seem to have learned nothing despite Corona. Very unfriendly owner, snaps at guests. Long wait for the food. Very narrow rooms and poorly ventilated. Never again.

Very authentic but also very dated.....

Almost didn't go because Google Maps said the place was "temporarily closed". It was a happy coincidence that we were passing by this restaurant on our way to a different place and saw that it is actually open. The atmosphere inside was super cute, especially at the bay window tables. The truffle fondue was great.

What a dream of a restaurant! Wonderful food in a rustic atmosphere. There is still a lot of emphasis here on hospitality and high-quality food. We have rarely feasted like this and enjoyed a fantastic view at the same time. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back. Thank you!

We stopped at Pöschtli with friends and 2 children. The service was very friendly and attentive. The children were immediately given crayons to paint with. We had tomato soup with gin - pizza - homemade lasagna and tartare. All very tasty. The lasagna is very gourmet and would easily be enough for 2 people. You can choose dessert right at the table and start feasting - I think it's really great in this form. All desserts were served in a glass. Gladly again

Only recommended. Quaint bar with a very nice barman, homely atmosphere and delicious food. Pizzas are delicious, as are salads and soups, and they come with wonderful pizza bread sticks. The staff is without exception friendly and very accommodating. At first we were very unhappy with the table assigned to us. Although the restaurant was completely booked, the nice lady tried very hard to finally assign us a cozy, beautiful and super great table in a cozy corner. The evening was simply perfect and a culinary dream! Thanks!

Great ambience! However, the fondue was mediocre for the price. The plastic forks for the fondue were terrible and the side dishes, onions, cucumbers and corn served in a water glass, were well... In the end, almost 190 francs lighter for ok food... The staff, especially the young girls, were very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the boss seemed very stressed...

The restaurant was fully booked. However, the service was still quite quick. But the main course didn't come at the same time for everyone. It was a bit annoying, but since the food was really tasty, we overcame it. But then came the surprise: although all the service employees had their hands full, the service manager apologized first and then the waiter too. On top of that there was a delicious, free dessert. Mistakes happen, no problem. But the difference is clearly made by how it is handled and how it is reacted to. And that was perfect, thank you very much.

The restaurant is ideal for groups. But it is also very great for a meal for two. The service is extremely friendly and accommodating. The menu is very diverse and ranges from cordon bleu to cheese fondue to fondue chinoise. The Nüsslisalt as a starter is highly recommended, as is the Cordon Bleu.

The food is mediocre, the service is rather unfriendly and likes to make decisions about the guest themselves. We made a reservation for 8 p.m., later the restaurant moved this to 8:30 p.m. and when we got there we were allowed to wait until 9 p.m. When paying, the lady herself decided that we would divide the bill by the number of people and not pay individually and in a not very friendly tone.

Bachelor party with my girls at the Alte Post was just perfect. Nathalie is the boss and already knew what we wanted Prosecco and Mineral. She really cares about her guests and tries to offer you a great evening. And then the employee forgot his name, he was very warm to our women. As recommended, we all had salad and then pizza - absolutely perfect dinner for our evening. The next day we went back to the Alte Post and ate fondue. It was also very tasty and we definitely had enough. Thank you for the perfect weekend and we'll be back. Keep it up, dear Alte Post team.

I have never experienced anything like it. 3 out of 10 orders were forgotten, 2 orders were wrong and then we argued that it wasn't on the note from the waiter... Apparently the checkout left the register... When we spoke to the boss she bitched at us... Never again.

Very long waiting time. The boss is arrogant and rude. Criticism is met with an answer of “I won’t let anyone yell at me.” We recommend another local.

We were 4 ladies and waited 1.5 hours for a table, decided to drink a bottle of prosecco to pass the time in the bar and then we were told that there was only pizza left. Where is the hospitality? We're in another local!! I don't recommend it

My personal opinion: 170.- for fondue for 5 people. Almost 2 hours of waiting time (the boss warned us that if we ordered anything else it would be even longer!!!!! That's why everyone had the same thing), for about 2 portions of cheese (regardless of whether 5 people or 2 people ordered fondue). You don't get enough bread and potatoes. Then I have to wait forever for repeat orders. The boss is super arrogant and says something about children who are starving. Never ever again.
