Very good service and delicious food. 🍽️👍 My visit to this restaurant was an exceptionally positive experience. In addition to the very good service and the delicious food 🍲😋, I was impressed by the cozy atmosphere and the appealing ambience. 🌟 The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, which made me feel very welcome. 😊 The dishes were not only excellent in terms of taste, but also visually very attractively presented. 🎨🍽️ I can without a doubt recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a top-class dining experience. Definitely worth 5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Today we were guests at Brasserie 98 for the first time. No matter whether when making the reservation or upon arrival, you can tell that every guest is welcome. Regardless of whether it's the service staff or the kitchen, you can tell that everyone is passionate about their job. Despite the many guests, there was no noticeable stress. Great, cozy dinner from A to Z: + Family business + interesting decoration + friendly and accommodating + a top chart for my taste and created with love + historical + fine food + you are asked whether you have had enough + and with its own King Of Pop Museum the perfect experience after dessert for a crowning conclusion + various homemade schnapps + The hosts also have time for a “chat” with the guests about interesting, current and past topics. Conclusion: Simply awesome and highly recommended.

Update June 11, 2023: Were there again yesterday, still perfect, we sat outside, ate and the small rain shower couldn't spoil the experience. Update July 30, 2021: Still perfect. We wanted to spontaneously grab something to eat on the way to a concert and admittedly we were late at the restaurant. It was also full and we had to wait a bit (but that wasn't a problem). After the boss realized that we only had 40 minutes left, everything suddenly went really quickly and we were able to enjoy an incredibly delicious meal and then see a great concert. Thank you for that. 2018: Perfect and original restaurant with a couple of hosts who successfully invest their heart and energy in entertaining their guests and the kitchen. At lunchtime there are a lot of regular guests for dinner.

Rustic, cozy and, above all, Swiss gastronomic culture. The boss greets and says goodbye to each guest personally. The staff is attentive and courteous. You feel at home from the start. There are different “dining rooms”, each with its own beautiful character.

Great and very fine restaurant. The food is fabulous and the prices are fair. The vegetable side dish is the best I have ever had in a restaurant. The only drawback is that you wait a long time until you get something to drink or someone comes to the table again and asks if anyone would like something else to drink. There were always several people at the table who were in front of the empty glass. The dessert menu was on my table for 40 minutes until I was asked what I wanted. Unfortunately it was already too late for me. We all agreed at the table that we would all have left more money if the service had been a little more attentive to generate sales. Nevertheless, the service is not bad at all. Some time ago I was there with a nursing child and she immediately offered me a quiet place to breastfeed in peace. (But she didn't get the point across that I wasn't allowed to do that in public; there was just a lot going on and I was grateful to have a quiet corner.) The children were offered straws on their own initiative. You don't get a truly top experience everywhere. The food is just so delicious and you always enjoy coming back to eat there. It's a shame we live so far away otherwise we would be regular guests🤩

When asked: “Are you an engineer?” An interesting conversation began with the innkeeper “Fränä” about a Swiss original Cordon Bleu. The question about engineering came from this: each piece of Cordon Bleu is supplied with as much cheese as it needs, no more, no less! This restaurant always remains true to its line and tradition. Anyone who is in the mood for heart-warming dishes based on grandmother's style (higher French cuisine) will discover a real gem here. “Fränä” and its brasserie are down-to-earth but at the highest level in every respect. The success you have had over the years also gives you the right to do everything well. But don't you think that Fr. 9 for a liter of Steffisburger tap water isn't rather too high. We went out to eat game. A treat for the palate every year. The portions are large. But you can also have half portions. The innkeeper comes to have a chat and at the end there was a schnapps on the house. Highly recommended.

July 9, 2022: Saturday evening, nice weather, terrace filled to capacity. Despite the amount of work, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The meal was excellent. I will definitely recommend the restaurant and will definitely stop there again.

We visited the brasserie again on Friday, June 17th, 2022. We ate very well and inexpensively and drank a fine Dole. Thank you very much, see you soon. Traditional restaurant with enough parking spaces behind the house. The menu is varied and original. There are menus with dedications. The food was, as always, very good. The wine list is rather small. The service is friendly and the host couple is present. Gladly again, thank you.

If you like nostalgia and want good food, you're in good hands there. The old pans on the wall of the old cigarette machine. Just beautiful to look at. Come back

4.8 stars I had the musician steak Positive: -The steak was well done, but still tender. -The variety of vegetables in this menu is very good. There are 7 different types of vegetables on the plate -The bacon coating went perfectly with the steak and brought out the flavor beautifully. -The sauce went well with the vegetables as well as the meat. -The atmosphere in the brasserie is to my liking, it's a bit crowded at times, but you don't feel like you're sitting on your neighbor's lap. -The portion size is decent and it fills you up well -The service is nice and you immediately feel at home. Negative: - Neutral: Due to the rush of guests, it took a while before we could order. But it's not a big deal since the waitress apologized for the wait. So the problem has been solved :) Inputs: What's on the menu is highly recommended, but perhaps the menu could be expanded to include 2.3 dishes :) I recommend this restaurant to anyone who would like to drink a beer in peace or enjoy a tasty meal. For my part, I can always relax in the brasserie and feel comfortable there.
