Delicious fondue, potatoes, meat platter, wine, beer and salad! Highly recommend!

Not recommendable. The colorful leaf salad for the starter was a few green lettuce leaves, the dressing was at least delicious. The vegiburger was dry/hard, rusk-like. The “Sauce datin” is extremely sparse and has a cinnamon flavor, very special. The mayonnaise in the bowl had probably been sitting outside for hours and had turned dark yellow. Rösti Fries were ok. During the stay the fire alarm went off several times, very annoying The soda and coffee were delicious. Service was friendly. Overall we waited quite a long time.

Wanted to get fondue with friends. Experience took around two hours. Fondue was overrated and overpriced. Barely attended to by staff. Would not go.

Super slow service, staff was very rude, food was super overpriced would recommend Kabab instead way way better option.

USA couple eating lunch. Server was friendly and efficient. Somehow the menu confused us, our rustic fondue (with ham bits and onions) appeared to indicate 31.50 CHF per person, but they must have meant that you needed to pay a minimum of 31.50 CHF? Happily we were served a substantial amount of fondue, which would have been sufficient for 3 people or possibly 4 lighter eaters. And lo and behold we were charged a total of 31.50 which seems okay by Switzerland standards. The fondue was good but we think we would have liked the basic original fondue better, as the “bacon” (of the sort we in USA would typically call chopped ham not bacon) slightly overwhelmed the dish in our view. Believe the base level fondue would be more typical? Our fault. All one gets with fondue is bread unless you order sides, we ordered small potatoes, glad we did as those were nice to dip. We also got a starter barley soup (Bündner Gerstensuppe) which was super good (see photo). The restaurant is nicely decorated inside. Recommend this place.

Over the New Year's weekend, I had dinner in this restaurant, as you well know the prices in Switzerland are what they are, higher than normal but for those who live there they are normal for the salary they get but we Italians don't care about this, we are interested in the food of foreign traditions, discovering foods never eaten before and tasting every type of dish. We took the fondue for 3 people but there were 5 of us, we ate a lot of it, dipping pieces of bread and small potatoes with long forks, really delicious, plus we took plates with Swiss sausage and roast potatoes, dividing them among the plates, we spent a nice evening, very nice and welcoming place. They were very understaffed and so it took 30 minutes to get the check after asking. But the food was pretty good.

Despite our late arrival, we were able to be received and we ate very well. The staff was very friendly. The atmosphere is friendly with a very typical decor of the region

The smell of cheese inside may bother you at first, but the food and the fondue are legendary. The prices are a bit high. The staff is very attentive. There are special surprises for children😀

The Graubünden region in Lucerne lives up to its name. Very nice restaurant with a great ambience. The menu is very diverse and has a great range of Graubünden specialties. The fondue is extremely good and of course a Bündner Röteli at the end. The staff and service are super friendly and accommodating. As a resident of Graubünden, I wholeheartedly recommend a visit to Graubünden Lucerne.

Quaint restaurant with friendly service. The portion sizes were a disgrace. The schnitzel with side dish was at most a children's portion & the fondue for 4 was never 800g! In addition, the side dishes of the schnitzel were burnt! I definitely won't visit again. Tourist trap

The schnitzel would be too small even for half a portion. It also had a very unusual aftertaste... and that too for the price! I'm disappointed!

We booked Fabian Dumitrache from Bündnerland Lucerne as a caterer for our wedding. The preparation, service and food were impeccable. Everything went smoothly throughout the planning and on the day itself. Thank you for your commitment! The restaurant in Lucerne is small but nice and the food can only be recommended.

Really fun experience. Very traditional Swiss experience with the fondue. The waiter was extremely helpful and friendly. Didn’t have a reservation but we were sat down very quickly. Would recommend.

Eat: **** Presented in very nice dishes, the quality of the food was good - too little salt for my taste. But ladies and gentlemen, there is melange for something and, as we all know, tastes are different. (Bündner barley soup and Capuns) Thank you very much for your hospitality. I really wish I could agree with all positive reviews but honestly I can't. Dinner for 2 in a november evening, perhaps we have hit the wrong moment, but the overall result has been almost terribly bad. Daily special posted outside the restaurant was not available. Food quality absolutely under standard. And prices are not. I have been brought a small, greasy, badly cooked wienerschnitzel, with few potatoes also hypergreasy, julienne cut carrots were the only eatable thing. My wife had a soup, also very heavy to digest. 2 stars instead of 1 due to the nice environment and the friendly service.

Quality of food/service very good. Ambience excellent. No go: no cloakroom, asked at the service - I think it was the first restaurant where I experienced this...we had to hang our very expensive, long winter coats over the chairs, which then lay on the floor.

Delicious!! We walked in randomly because of its lunch time and our kid was hungry. It turned out we made a good choice! The food was so yummy and our kid finished her plate! Service was good as well.

A very good experience at Restaurant Bündnerland Luzern! It’s not easy to bring my family of 11 pax to find a dining place. The only handsome guy in the restaurant helped us with opening and setting up tables and menu for us. Explaining to us what’s on the menu and accomodate to our taste. ( we are a group of 11 from Singapore) because of culture, some of us can’t have beef and he made pork steak for some of my folks. And constantly making sure the food is good and tasty. Thank you for your excellent service and we will be back for it when we visit again!! Great food, great service, great ambience!

The food was very good but it was way over priced. So I am torn because it was delicious but I have a tough time justifying paying that much for a half bowl of cheese.

I’m so sorry, but last year I gave this restaurant 5 stars but since then something bad happened. Service was very slow and the “pizza” we got was undercooked.

Nice Ambiance, fresh food that seasoned well! I took my parents here for dinner, dad likes the draft beer and potatoes (he usually dislike potatoes… but he complimented on how fresh the potatoes are and how well the onion sauce goes with them). We also got a green salad, beef fillet, bratwurst and burger. I love the fries, but I do think burger patty is a little bit dry (I like shake shack extra greasy burger) but that’s just my taste😂 We really enjoyed our dinner and will recommend this place to our friends~

Looking for a good cheese fondue and following the recommendation of our hotel, we went to Graubünden and were not disappointed. The house wine, a riesling, is also very delicious and the service is top! Gladly again!

I only went to the restaurant and it was very good! Cheesecake 🫕 🧀 very good! Although if you order it with meat it is not worth it, it is not meat as you can imagine. With potatoes 🥔 and bread 🍞 it is very delicious.

Lovely lunch in a prime location in Lucerne. Atmosphere was cool and chill, staff friendly and attentive. We had a high chair and a place for pram when requested. The entrance has a small step - okay for us but not wheelchair friendly. No nappy change area but they kindly lend us a bench. Food was nice and juicy, the wurst was delicious. Not too keen on the carrot side, but thats obviously depends on personal taste. Good portions sizes. Would recommend.

Had the vegan option , too sweet, impossible to eat. Our waiter was very cool tho. -What a bad experience it was when they found out I didn’t like the meal. There are better ways to treat your customers. You shouldn’t yell at them. You should be more open to receive feedback. Feedback is what will make you improve.

Aweful place to stay. They are not only racist but they make sure that your entire vacation goes in vane. The food at restaurant is aweful too . The or max 2 make it more worse specially the hostess at the restaurant and the lady who owns the thing. We came , had to wait 6 hrs after checkout time and to add more essence to it the restaurant lady mocked at us and was not willing to contact host and host was not reachable thrugh the contact number given to us. When we finally got room , the elevator is only until a floor and have to take stairs to reach room and the elevator can accommodateoy one person and it got stuck another day all the guests we stuck inside for half day

The review is for the restaurant. Service was top. Food was okay. Maybe not picked out the highlights either. Guests were mainly local tourists. Every table had a cheese fondue in front of them. But we had salad, tarte flambée (Swiss style) and chapuns. The courts were OK, but were not convincing.

Were seated for lunch at the restaurant without a reservation during the weekend. Indoor and outdoor seating with friendly staff. Food was decent and the size reasonable. The fries were a very positive surprise, super super crispy and yummy.

Fine food but the portions are rather small. There are also some vegetarian and vegan dishes.

We ate there twice. Super tasty, especially if you love cheese. There's nothing to complain about when it comes to service either. The owner is also very nice and accommodating. We will come back in any case.

I was referred to this place by a hotel staff and my family was excited to try the cheese fondue. However, the service was extremely poor. Staff was inattentive and rude during our visit. It was not explained to us that there was a minimum order of 3 portions for the cheese fondue. Since we ordered only one portion, we were charged extra, and there was also another charge for plates, as explained by the staff. This is the first time being charged for plates. We have had meals at other restaurants throughout switzerland, but we never came across a restaurant that charged for plates. We were a group of four, and yet we struggled to finish the food ordered. The food was good and nice, however, the service spoiled our experience. Would have appreciated if extra charges were communicated upon ordering.

We wanted a great Fondue in an authentic restaurant away from the crowds and this small but charming restaurant was perfect. The chilli fondue with the meat platter was gorgeous. My sons had the burgers who said they were equally as nice. Its not cheap (30 chf each for the fondue), but then nothing is Switzerland is! I don't mind paying for quality and good service. We would eat there again. Just need a couple of years to save enough money to afford Switzerland :-)

First thing - the lady who was serving was very nice. Even though we didnt know any german, she was very polite and tried to explain everything that we need to order the food Secondly- food was great! The fondue was delicious. We ordered two different types, both were good. The portions were great. Also! They have kids menu! It is located a bit off from the main street, but i would totally recommend going off to this one street and you can see it right away. We were able to sit by ourselves in the corner of second floor, which was very private. !

We had a cheese fondue that was good. But they ran out of bread (gluten free) which meant we could not finish the fondue. The restaurant was full and there were only 2 people serving which was not enough. The staff was friendly which is amazing given the stress they were under.

Went there during the summer season, if you don't have a reservation, not possible to eat in at a restaurant in Lucerne. Opened a bottle of house wine for 53 franc

We were looking for a good fondue spot and it was raining pretty badly outside. We found this nice cozy spot close to the water. We ordered the fondue and it was relatively affordable compared to the waterfront places. Also they were okay with fondue indoors while some other place told us we'd have to sit outside. The fondue was very filling and we all shared. We ordered the reclettes as well and they were good. Glad we found this nice place.

The food and service were Excellent. 🏆 Tatjana is an excellent server. As Americans, we asked a lot of questions about the food. When the food came out, we were excited to dive in. 😋 As anticipated, everything was GREAT. The food was fresh and had lots of flavor. The Elephant Bay Mango Pineapple drink was so good, we had 2. ✌🏽 We did not stay at the hotel.

Didn't manage to take a photo when the food came as it looked too appetising we digged in right away! Ordered the ice tea which taste somewhat like roselle tea and was not too sweet, also the hot plate beef fillet which was tender and good!! Came with potato sticks somewhT like hashbrown which was rly nice and a carrot salad!

Enjoyed the capun, something traditional and different! Otherwise found the Pizokel was too creamy and tasteless, and the bratwurst lacked flavour. Iced tea delicious. The staff was lovely and friendly!

This is a must try! Found this place wondering through the old town. We were sat very quickly and the waitress was very friendly. We had a seat on the patio, however she recommended we moved inside if we ordered the fondue since any sort of breeze would blow out the flame. We had the rustic fondue for 2 and added the potatoes. The dish is huge with plenty of bread to dip in it. Overall I’d definitely recommend this place a try when in Lucerne. All the other dishes from what I could see from the tables around me looked delicious!!

Location: near the wooden bridge, but a bit winding. Restaurant: I was able to sample from 5 different menus and found each of them unenjoyable. URGENTLY DISCOURSE: Capunz (the vegetarian and regular). Toilet: was small but clean Waitress: she was nice, but spilled the entire tray of drinks (including beer) all over my jacket. The restaurant ignored all requests and thus refused to pay for the 21Fr cleaning after we consumed for over 250Fr. Conclusion: I will definitely not recommend it to anyone, because besides the billing debacle, the food was simply not bündnerland-worthy.

The Bündnerland burger was absolutely delicious, especially paired with the Calanda Glatsch. The atmosphere is very cozy with the wooden details! Service was great and our waitress was very kind and welcoming - they had English menus as well.

We are grateful we stumbled across this restaurant while in Luzern as the staff were super friendly and welcoming, which was much needed with after a long day out with our children! We had fondue, despite being summer, which was delicious and overall a very positive experience.

If you are looking for very good, reasonably priced German/Swiss food, this is the place to go in Lucerne. Also has good beer prices. The Capuns are excellent!

We only ate in the restaurant. The Bündnerland burger is great, my girlfriend's schnitzel is also great, and the beer is also delicious. So you can recommend it with a clear conscience!

Lovely service though the one waitress was obviously overwhelmed with the amount of customers. Long wait times, food was expensive and there were a few mistakes made with our order.
