Iconic place in the region, especially in autumn for their legendary brisolée royale. Loyal to the position for several years now. However, it is a shame to see prices increase gradually, from year to year.

The brisolée was good and galore. There are a dozen different cheeses and cold meat dishes. There are also two cakes. The only downside is 43 francs, a little excessive. 38 francs would be better. Very friendly staff.

An authentic place with a magnificent terrace overlooking Martigny. Ate the grilled buffet once at lunchtime, very nice, as well as the brisolée with regional products, all of very good quality. Good-natured service, a bit "busy" atmosphere, but rather friendly overall.

Perhaps the best rösti and the best sorbet anywhere! The rösti is expertly done and perfectly crisp on the exterior and cooked through on the inside without being overly oily or salty. The sorbet was amazing with all local fruit (rhubarb, quince, cassis) and not overly sweet. I paired my meal with wine from the vineyard surround the restaurant (outdoor seating under the tree was magnificent!) and my girlfriend had local cider which was perfectly dry and crisp. What an incredible meal in an incredible place!

Excellent address with non-stop service! We were very happy to be able to eat a delicious cheese crust at 6 a.m. The service was very friendly.

Very nice, nestled on the heights of Martigny, you have the impression of getting lost before you get there. Local cuisine, daily specials, good regional specialties but not love at first sight. It is above all the location that is worth the detour.

it's a wonderful place to eat Brisole (chestnut, meat and cheese). The cheeses were all very good. But the differences between the different cheese factories were unfortunately very small.

Visibly very welcoming restaurant. Good cheeses, meats too despite the food hygiene conditions which leave something to be desired, rotten fruit with midges all over it, cherry on the chihuahua, the majority of chestnuts are charred! Disparaging remarks, did we raise the pigs together, or did they? The team needs to be reviewed. I was not invited to your establishment to be asked to do the dishes! Overwhelming... Some visibly annoyed and drunk customers take the liberty of calling out other customers for the bill! But where is the server?!?!? I brought her... Others allow themselves to “vape” on the 2nd floor. Beautiful place where you can have a pleasant time with your family, that's EVERYTHING!

Came with friends for the brisolée royale, the chestnuts were much overcooked, even charred and did not peel at all easily which was really annoying. The accompaniments, however, were all very good. However, the service really left something to be desired. Several disparaging remarks including questioning the price of the bottle of wine chosen, asking us if we didn't want to get cheaper (because we are young we can't afford it?!) as well as annoyance because I quote “you couldn’t have ordered me everything at once!” We felt like we were being lectured like children. In addition, one of us was relieved of his glass where 1/4 of his drink still remained... Finally, we were invaded by midges all evening! We were all disappointed with this restaurant and would certainly choose another place for our next brisolée.

Hello, this was a long-held dream that was supposed to come true yesterday at noon on a beautifully sunny day. A brisolée at the Plan Cerisier restaurant! in the vineyards. We came away very disappointed. The image we had of it has been obscured! Indeed, an otherwise provided buffet awaited us. There, nothing to say. This buffet was generous and well presented. The service, moreover, sadly leaves something to be desired. Our waitress made it clear to us that she was overwhelmed and nervous. It felt like we were in a factory canteen. We were thrown a salad bowl filled with cold charred chestnuts, most of them supposedly cooked over a wood fire! a young man, a waiter, didn't even know what a brisolée was!! In short, despite a splendid view of the Rhône valley, we had the sad impression of finding ourselves in a profit-making factory rather than in a nice restaurant. Move on, there are still nice little bistros in Valais Denis and Elisa

Great family runned business in an enchanting venue with a marvelous view over Martigny and amazing surrounding terroir of grape growers of Plan Cerisier. We tried the regional Beef steak with a nice old vinegrapes Sirah of Besse, service super friendly and efficient. I recommend the chestnut festival in Fall,been there and fantastic. Booking recommended as can be very busy given prime location. Thank you!

The buffet isi complete during the week with three hot dishes, several salads, coldcuts and deserts but for the price is a bit high. If however your want view and atmosphere this place is excellent.

Delicious brisolée with a good choice of cold meats and cheeses. Always very warm welcome from Sacha the boss, we promise we will come back very quickly.

Had the buffet on a Monday. All you can eat. CHF40 per person. We were disappointed: roaster chestnuts were very dry, partly burned, and probably cooked the day before. The two tarts were very poor: lousy crust. Meat and cheese were OK. Site is very nice with great view over the vines. Host gave us free coffee as she noticed we were disappointed.
