Good food in a beautiful location

We have already come to the castle restaurant a few times, but each time we have a great time! The dishes are delicious, very well prepared and always with seasonal offerings. The service is professional and courteous. In short, we come back every time! :)

I had very tender but cold wild boar fillet. I asked the waitress. Second cold too. The whole plate was cold, the vegetables and the meat. It's not cheap, and colder. No thanks. First and last time I set foot in your home.

I was recommended this restaurant. We arrived a little late, around 1:20 p.m., and that wasn't a problem. However, the restaurant was practically full. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and kind. We ate very well.

We ordered a very expensive dish for 2 with 2 services included. The cooked venison saddle was presented to us after a long wait and there was about 400g of meat. The dish returned to the kitchen and we had to wait more than 20 minutes for a first cold service with 3 tiny pieces of game, approximately 50g. This first inconvenience was communicated to the restaurant team. The second arrives again 20 minutes later and this time it's hot but the quantity of meat is still minimal. I suspect this restaurant has sold this dish many times without having cooked the necessary quantities. It’s just scandalous and the excuses from the cook who was overwhelmed are completely bogus. A shame, 200g of meat for 128 francs charged. I request compensation from the owner of this place.

In life, we often receive in return the consequences of our own behavior too...

Smiling waiters, good, well-presented dishes and a setting/decor that deserves a little renovation. First of all, the dishes are very well presented. I recommend going there for the meats (hunting period) which are excellent. The risottos and other dishes are good but are perhaps a little too fatty for me. We all came out feeling really full, even a little too much 😅 In terms of service, the servers are young and smiling but we had to wait a long time before receiving our dishes (there were 7 of us). As for the framework, I see potential there but not achieved. The decoration is really rustic and deserves a new decoration like something mixing old and modern. That would be great!! Overall it's a good restaurant where you eat well and which will suit most people but which could do with a little facelift :)

Waitress not smiling. She responds dryly. As someone who comes from the profession, I think she should do a career change. I will not come back. Also a tendency to forget.. we ordered a coke and we received a cold tea.

Food was excellent. Since we ordered the large piece of meat divided into two plates but the side dishes in the normal portion, we got what we wanted beautifully prepared and served at no extra charge.

A beautiful location for an al fresco meal. We had a great waiter who managed to keep us entertained during a long wait for our food and some confusion in the kitchen. The food was nicely presented but the pizza was undercooked and the steak tartare rather bland.

At the castle we eat very, very well, never disappointed. Whether it's the pizzas, the tartars are excellent and the service is very good therefore 5 stars... however when I made my reservation no one warned me that a music group was present that evening at the restaurant (terasse ) and the music was way too loud. We could no longer hear each other talking (we were in front) and despite the two requests to turn the sound down, I didn't see any difference. It was horrible... during the meal too bad... so 2 stars for the atmosphere.

I go back there often but always the same observation... The service is long, whether ordering or receiving the order. Which is a shame because they have a lovely terrace and the menu is interesting with creative seasonal choices. Unfortunately, the spaghetti alle vengole was bland.

The arugula was very sandy on the pizza and it ruined the whole meal. The service was very slow but nice, when we said that the pizza was sandy, we got a tiramisu for free. I recommend the restaurant if you have time.

Hello, I'm a Steiner student, but I don't like the minerals in pizza. The waiting time was forever to infinity. At least the tiramisu was without stones, very tasty and free (as an apology) I recommend it to you as long as you are a sand/stone lover and have time.

Aperitif on the terrace, very nice waiter, we sit down at the table... but what a disappointment... our new waiter takes 25 minutes to take the order, ok we can understand but there are 9 tables of 2 people in his row, we order 2 pizzas, and wait, wait, wait. The pizzallolo sits on the terrace with customers or friends. After 45 minutes we ask the waiters if our two pizzas are arriving, he will check... customers who arrived before us are served... we decide to cancel the order. The chef or boss arrives and tells us that he should charge us for the pizzas because they have been prepared.. we refuse to pay for the pizzas, let's pay for our aperitifs and leave. In short... tourist trap, avoid!

We were very poorly received by a waitress. In fact, we were kicked out of a table for 4 even though there were 2 of us with the argument that there will be people on the terrace and at this table. This table suited us because it was in the shade. Following the stubborn behavior of the waitress we ate at the restaurant next door where we were very well received. We were able to observe from afar that these places were not occupied and that the terrace remained empty during our meal. We do not recommend this restaurant…

Came with friends who had recommended this restaurant to us, a disaster, a very long wait even for drinks and although the restaurant was not full, the friends had a pizza, no taste, the bottom of the dough not cooked, and the worst of the worst, a friend found a huge hair in his pizza... Horrible... For my part the beef fillet on slate, very/too expensive and the morel sauce not great, the sauce with pepper also but the mushroom/truffle sauce, very good, we heard the table next door complaining, so for a first time, this will be a last...

The perfect restaurant! Great food, great service. The prices are not low, but we enjoyed "every penny". The waiter does his job with great passion and professionalism. May it continue like this. We will gladly return.

Hello, the welcome at the Château went well unfortunately no more menu I fell back on the wild boar medallions I had asked for on point despite the cooking problem it was royal a big thank you to the chef I will come back with pleasure! Continuation of my opinion on the castle the service and deplorable the welcome and zero from one day to the next the servers are not the same, and 20 minutes for an uncooked pizza frankly I paid but finished the castle I will never set foot again 🤬

Very nice restaurant that we have already been to twice, polite and friendly waiters, we ate very well! In particular a dish that you don't see everywhere based on fig/pecorino ravioli and shrimp with avocado sauce! Excellent ! Wide choice of ice creams topped with alcohol (or not) and some desserts. Several car parks are available in the surrounding area and the restaurant is a 5-minute walk from the station. We strongly recommend booking even during the week because it is full every time, but without there being a lot of noise in the room. However, given the crowds in the room, the service can be a little slow depending on the day, but nothing long, it's still a decent wait. Tables fairly spaced apart, so it's still pleasant :) we'll go back!

It is necessary to reserve even during the week. Warm environment. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The service is fast. The knife-cut tartare with pan-fried foie gras and truffle is the dish to choose, toast and fries as desired. A real treat. A large selection of open red wine and delicious desserts. Consider finishing with a homemade limoncello. The chef comes to say hello...we will come back to taste the bison.

We had mussels and fries, The fries were soggy The mussels had a horrible taste of slime, really not a good smell when we received the plates, in a few minutes they were cold and half were not opened so not edible, and at the bottom of the plate there was lots of gravel so poorly washed...
