An absolute hidden gem! My recent dining experience at Gotthard-Mätteli was nothing short of stunning. Situated by a picturesque river, the location creates a beautiful ambiance. The interior exudes elegance with a touch of traditional Swiss charm. The menu was a culinary journey through Switzerland. From the refined fondues to the carefully prepared raclette, each dish oozed authenticity and flavor. The chef here truly understands the art of perfecting Swiss cuisine. The staff was exceptionally attentive and friendly, making the whole experience even more special. They offered expert recommendations and ensured we felt very welcome. And let's not forget the view! The riverside setting and proximity to the mountains provided a scenic backdrop for our dinner. Whether you're looking to savor local delicacies or enjoy a romantic evening, Gotthard-Mätteli has it all. It's a place where you not only relish fantastic food but also create unforgettable memories. This restaurant is a must-visit for foodies and travelers seeking to savor the taste of Switzerland.

Rude. The waitress made it clear to us that we were not welcome guests. We satisfied her and went to eat somewhere else.

Bad service! When we entered, the waitress had just finished her polite conversation with her acquaintances while pretending not to see us and barely greeted us as we approached. When we asked for a table, she replied rudely that we would have to wait. Shortly afterwards we tried to ask if we could sit at a free table, to which she replied indifferently that the tables were free, without looking at our faces as she cleared the table and without even smiling. We left immediately without sitting down. Never again!

Shortly before the top of the pass in a beautiful landscape. There's a really good CordonBleu here (with mountain cheese, herbs and garlic). Top!

The food was bad i couldnt touch the potato salad and the nuggets was burnt.. The service was bad when I asked to share my feedback with the manager they literally said “she is not interested to hear your feedback”

Three meals we didn’t touch any of it, “the manager is not interested to hear your feedback” quoting the waitress.. and we had to pay full price for burnt chicken nuggets, potato salad more like mashed potato and a bad beef dish
