Very tasty food and good friendly service.

I made a special reservation for five people and when we arrived the reservation wasn't even confirmed, it felt like we had ordered it and hadn't picked it up...😏 The restaurant is very nice and nicely located. Unfortunately, the service only understands minimal German. The food was okay, I really expected more!! The pasta dishes are drowned in oil or sauce. Cook better at home sorry... it's a shame the price wasn't right for us at all.

The food tastes wonderful and the service is very attentive. The restaurant is run with a lot of passion and the location in the middle of the countryside is fantastic. Tip: An overnight stay is worth it. The brunch is great!

This property is a part of a large golf facility and offers a small and comfy rooms with a private bath, with excellent restaurant offers all 3 meals as well snack and coffee Parking is free and EV chargers are available The room is extremely clean with good furniture but no coffee set available in the room The location is very good just few minutes drive to Appenzell and near by main attractions

After we arrived, no one paid us any attention. About 15 minutes later then one came Lady, we ordered drinks, then we waited again for 15 minutes to order our food. The salad was forgotten at the neighboring table, the waitress just said, oh, her salad didn't come? A little later a waiter came and said oh my colleague must have forgotten her. We now waited almost an hour for our food. The quality of the food didn't make it good either. We wanted to pay and no one came, after 20 minutes we went in to pay. My conclusion: I have given the service and the food a chance three times now. Never again.

We stayed one night at that location which bids a couple of rooms. The room was very cozy, the view was beautiful (on the hills surrounding the location) and we ate at the restaurant, where the food was delicious and the staff very friendly and helpful. Plus, the location is great: 7 minutes ride from Appenzell and 25 minutes from the cable car to go to the top of the Säntis. We highly recommend the place!
