Restaurant Kreuz in Rapperswil-Jona

Just ordered Pad Thai over the phone. It certainly wasn't "original". Cashew nuts forgotten and bland. The chef should have an original meal at a Thai restaurant! The delivery boy didn't have his wallet or card reader with him... Then at 27.- it's also 2.- more expensive than via eat. Why this? I wanted to do something good for the restaurant and order directly. A pity. But very friendly gentleman on the phone to say something positive.

The sushi was sensational, a taste explosion. Everything was great 🤩

A ripoff. They charged us 14 CHF for a small glass of "lemonade," which is actually listed under the mocktails on the menu (but they didn't tell us that). It's not even lemonade but just syrup and water. The pad thai was oily with barely a hint of soy sauce or tamarind, and they even forgot some ingredients. They serve Thai food with chopsticks in here, that's plain wrong. Plus, it's very loud because there's no acoustic treatment at all in the restaurant. Avoid if you can. There are better mom and pop Thai places just a few blocks further down the road towards Rapperswil station.

The restaurant LO in Rapperswil is simply fantastic!🍚🥟 The atmosphere is modern and inviting🏯🌱🎋, and the food is simply delicious. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, all made with fresh ingredients. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the visit a thoroughly enjoyable experience. I can highly recommend Restaurant LO!👏🙏

To be fair, the food is always delicious, but on Friday I was given expired tiramisu, which is really weak for the price of 10.-. This makes me question how fresh the food is in each case. I would like to end my review by threatening that I will never order from them again, but they are the only good Asian restaurant near me.

The chicken was changed to sweet and sour chicken. Not comparable to before! Price performance is a disaster. Delivery is good and friendly!

We bought tickets for an event and booked dinner straight away. The food was good, that's the only reason I gave it 2 stars. But the service is arrogant and unprofessional. The young waiter apparently doesn't know that such cheeky answers are simply wrong. Dessert (only upon request) was served to us 5 minutes before the event. Since the communication between the kitchen and the wait staff is weak, the dessert was still properly frozen. We won't come here anymore.

I just ordered food and it was delivered. I will continue to order there because it tastes really good there. Apart from the fact that my partner also loves to cook a lot, this is a MUST every now and then! I love the Tom Kha Gai, but unfortunately the rice wasn't included today!

We came here for dinner after a day trip. The location was very modern, but had something of a train station hall about it. The food came very quickly (we were only one of two tables occupied) and was also very good. We had spring rolls, pad thai and honey chicken. The portion sizes were more than sufficient. What the restaurant should work on is training their employees to be friendly. When we entered the restaurant we were initially told that next time we should make a reservation by phone instead of by email. A reservation was not necessary anyway with 1/50 occupied tables... When we then received a dish with the wrong meat, which we didn't let go back (and only commented on it in a friendly way), the waiter quickly came back and assured us in an annoyed tone that we had "100% ordered this dish".

The staff is very nice here and the bowl concept is cool, you get your food straight away. However, it has a new flavorless chicken that tastes soft and horrible. A response via email was responded to very nicely, but did not lead to any changes. In addition, there are now 2 mochi for the price of 3. So the customer saves money. It's a shame because the staff is really nice, but I'll rarely come back.

After asking, the waiter assured us that our order would come after about 5'. When I asked again after 15', he snapped at us and said "Well that's just the way it is now, bad luck". If I couldn't give a star, that would be it! Really disrespectful service!! Disappointing.

Very disappointing! The cutlery was forgotten during the delivery service and to make matters worse, my vegetarian dish had pieces of chicken in it! Something like that doesn't work! I will avoid the LO restaurant in the future.

Excellent lunch spot for either menu items or 'create your own' bowls. The Singapore Noodles, Pad Thai, and the rice bowls are absolutely delish. Prices are reasonable as well and the place is big enough with indoor and outdoor seating.

Actually a fan of the food, but this was about the 4th or 5th delivery that went wrong. There is a comment function for something when ordering, but you have to take that into account. That was one time too many, I will never order or eat there again.

Price/performance ratio absolutely crazy. Completely overpriced and the quality and portion size are the same best case scenario a 2/10. Bowl ordered with shrimps. Next time, use a teaspoon to scoop up the side dishes. Extremely stingy for this ungodly price. By far the very last of all the Asian restaurants in the area.

We paid over 25.00 for take-away bowls that were puny and of poor quality. Shabby small portions for the price and quality. The chicken does not appear to be chicken breast. Not recommended at all, no love in this food.

The bowl was of poor quality at this price… Nothing special in terms of taste for almost 25CHF. There are better Asian restaurants in the area (200m). e.g. Suvarnabhumi or Ninjanoodle.

Friendly service, delicious Asian food, what more could you want. The Bao Bun Pulled were a highlight. Also enjoyed the lovely atmosphere.

The food is very tasty - but the service is an absolute disaster!! When we wanted a table for 4 people, we were asked to sit at the bar for a moment so that the table could be prepared - even though the restaurant was almost empty. After 45 minutes at the bar we were finally noticed again and were able to inquire about the table. Visibly surprised that we wanted to consume something, we finally got the table. We had extremely long waiting times between courses, even though several of the waitresses were just standing around. For example, unused wine glasses were also cleared away while the main course was being consumed. After the main course we didn't finish our meal for a long time, even though we had all finished eating. A waitress even walked past us, saw the empty plates with cutlery and still didn't come up with the idea of ​​clearing the table. When we were allowed to place our dessert order after another long wait, the waiter first had to clarify whether this was still possible because the kitchen was closing in 2 minutes. He could have mentioned this when handing out the dessert menu and taken the order without such a long wait. The food was very tasty and the selection of vegan dishes was also good.

I ordered food. It took 1h30 minutes, the delivery location is 10 minutes away from the restaurant, the website says delivery time is 30 minutes. When I called, the employee on the phone told me there had been an accident on the highway. However, I look at the highway and there was clearly no accident in sight. The food is very delicious and I will continue to consume there, but hope that time management improves and such an incident does not happen again.

My first and last visit... There is so much to say: -The menu has been changed, but the old one is still on the website. -Then the wrong food was delivered to two of our group (8 people). -The waitress visibly struggled to serve so many tables, which resulted in very long waiting times and sparse service. -the reorder of a glass of red wine was never delivered. -The one meal that was declared not spicy was really tasty for the Swiss palate (estimated at 5,000-10,000 Scoville) -Ultimately we were charged too much for the food because he had calculated the wrong menu. The money was then refunded, but there were too many mistakes for a visit to the restaurant. The only reason it gets the second star is because my food was good.

We checked into the LO at the end of September 22! because we were booked as a band at ZAK. The rooms are great and the beds are super comfortable. Everything is clean and the toilet is great. We had a lot of fun with it. lol! The breakfast was also great and the staff was friendly. We have to deduct two stars for the location of the hotel. Unfortunately, there is a church tower in the immediate vicinity, which regularly attracts attention with its ringing bells. The aim of an overnight stay is to be able to sleep in and relax, especially if you are traveling for business or on tour, sleep is just as important away from home as it is at home. However, if you are woken up regularly (every 15 minutes and then a bell rings, etc.), it is very unpleasant and disturbing. Of course we also know that the LO! There's little we can do about the ringing itself, but we have an in-house suggestion: offer offensive LO! Earplugs on. Then you get full marks. Best regards

Very disappointed with the delivery service! 1st order to Goldingen was delivered on time. Ordered again today, worth 140.- Order made online around 3 p.m., delivery time 5:45 p.m. 5.40 pm call from Lo "everyone wants to eat at this time, we don't deliver to Goldingen" We had to take the meal from the chauffeur in Eschenbach, of course at the full price! If the delivery cannot be carried out like this, why not call earlier? Other companies are happy to deliver to Goldingen.

To be fair, I only come by every few weeks in the afternoon and have a Doppio (double espresso) - especially today. But the coffee is an insider tip in Rappi/Jona (good basic coffee and professionally prepared) and the waitresses are always so friendly that I would be happy to come back at any time.

We went there because they have allergens marking on their menu and we have one celiac in the family. They indeed have good awareness and understanding. But the gluten free food was quite tasteless, as if they just made it without the soy sauce or so. It’s a shame as it is quite easy to find gluten free soy sauce or other gluten free sauces. Also, it was not clear why all the noodles dishes cannot be made gluten free ad they use rice noodles. So eventually we were not very satisfied with the quality of the food. But the place is nice, the atmosphere is great, and the service was good. I wish they improve their gluten free offering as we live nearby and would have been happy to return.

Horrible, so disrespectful waitress, we was one of the very good clients, put not anymore. Discrimination to me and my husband, not recommended at all, we showed our Covid freaking pass but we didn’t have our Id with us, and also as we work with police I know perfectly it TOTALLY ILLEGAL TO ASK FOR SOMEONE’S ID, not even a police can ask you for your ID if you’re not suspicious in a crime. So now any kind of waiter can ask you your ID and feel the power to do that knowing that’s absolutely wrong, it’s totally illegal and ridiculous. Lost 2 good clients.

What has to be said, shrimp were cooked to perfection. The food in general tastes great! What I find really amazing, however, is the price/performance ratio. For the entire portion, 4 shrimp. And you can get really tasty food at Bamboo, more and it doesn't hurt your wallet.

Dear LO! team When we ordered the food this evening, the first thing I noticed was that 2 out of 3 dishes had several hairs in the food, which to me indicated unhygiene. The third dish was chicken and we noticed that the core of the chicken was still pink... I'm horrified for a total amount of 65.- to be presented with a menu like that is simply bad. The positive thing about the order was the quick delivery time.

The location is very nice and modernly furnished. The food was breathtaking and the staff was very accommodating.

Lunch bowls very tasty! Keep it up. Beef was still on offer in the past.

It was good until the card was shortened. Robata is no longer delivered to your home or offered at all? Children's menus have also been shortened (no more salmon). Various popular appetizers... disappeared. Too bad, it was probably the last time.

Take Away Fast delivery and everything received correctly as ordered. The vegi momos with the dip provided and the mojis are super delicious 😋 The papaya apple salad lacks bang 💥 it is hot with the chillies but no acidity, sweetness and fresh note (ingredients are all very fresh and top) unfortunately poorly seasoned. The same with the Singapore noodle dish, unfortunately everything was very bland and far away from the taste that the spices can provide. As I said, it's not about spiciness but about taste and spice. Overall grade Good but not more, a shame.

What's happening that you guys have decided to cheap out on ingredients but still charge the same amount? When I spend CHF200.00 and get burnt food I have a reason to be upset. Please go back to using prime ingredients! Your Pepper Beef Wok is the reason I introduced your restaurant to friends and family. Have you guys got a new cook? Please bring back the old one... Super delicious vegan food. Large selection. Been there several times, but today I ordered home. I live on the 4th floor without an elevator and the young, friendly woman was upstairs in seconds with a smile. Even greeted my curious dog very sweetly. Very friendly. Definitely keep this great lady!!

We got the chicken MoMo as an appetizer (it was not the best), however our entrée saved the day! We were both were happy with our meals. I got the singapore noodles, it could use a bit more spices but it was still enjoyable. My cousin got the Hoisin Glazed pork and she said it was really yummy. I'll come back again if I'm ever in the area.

The restaurant serves really amazing Asian meals! The taste is authentic and very sophisticated. The atmosphere of resturant is also great. You can enjoy the meals in a cosy manner, but you can also have fun at the bar counter and a big hall. I do recommend visiting there and feeling the true quality of Asian food :)

During the lockdown I ordered food a few times. Delivery was very quick and usually faster than stated. And it is very tasty. It is also one of the few delivery services that also offer gluten-free dishes in the region. What I also like is the environmentally friendly packaging. No plastic is used and everything is in cardboard packaging.

Unfortunately, the first time after the opening wasn't a hit. Nevertheless, we went by again today. And now it's even good. Fine food, good atmosphere and friendly staff. The punch is recommended.

The restaurant is modern, the food is Asian (not traditional but good), the staff is polite and courteous. What really bothered me is the character of the cafeteria. You have to order the food at the checkout or you can choose to have a bowl put together at the kitchen. I find it annoying to always have to get up for dessert, etc. to order at the checkout. I don't think the prices are appropriate for that either. They would be if there was table service like a normal restaurant. Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but for me a nice waitress is part of the culinary experience!

At the LO! LO is capitalized. LO on service, LO on hospitality, LO on everything. The food may be okay, but the concept is unfortunately weak and the staff can tell that they don't want to work. The fact that you have to order everything with your cell phone is not a feature, but the main reason for a lazy evening. You do not gain any benefit from the procedure, you are left to struggle with the ordering process yourself. If you feel like configuring your cell phone after a day at work, this might suit you. Sorry, LO! You still have to do something about it. My two stars go to the papaya salad and the gin.
