Very good food and friendly staff

The most important thing, namely the food, is really delicious. Reasonable prices, reasonable portions. The actually very nice restaurant is, for my - only my - taste, a bit overloaded with "junctures", hence the 4 stars for the ambience. The one star deduction for service is for the minimally unruly instructions given to newly arriving guests when there is a lot of activity 😉. Basically a big GO!

It was an atmospheric evening. Beautifully decorated hotel, cozy, charming atmosphere, very, very friendly service. The saddle of venison was not only beautifully presented, but also deliciously prepared. Dessert is super delicious! The most incredible cordon bleu I've ever tasted! Lots of ham, lots of cheese and all in a delicious, tender schnitzel shell.

Cozy atmosphere, great service and delicious food

The visit to the Kurhaus Ohmstal restaurant was a very nice and wonderful experience. Deserves the name adventure restaurant. Great location in the countryside, large parking lot and garden restaurant, beautifully maintained surroundings, rooms furnished with a lot of skill and passion. Hospitality from A to Z is maintained here at the highest level. Warm, friendly, courteous and attentive service from “Claudia”. Very tasty, enjoyable and beautifully presented dishes. Price/performance ratio top. There is a lot of joy and sunshine in this house. We felt “very comfortable”. I would be very happy to see you again.

Place located on a hill with a beautiful view. Kind and courteous staff, the owner often wears traditional Swiss peasant clothes. Inside the place there are typical and characteristic objects of the place, in the garden where it is possible to have a drink or eat there is a wooden house inside which there is a nativity scene that can be viewed all year round.

We had nice places on the side of the terrace. A great view!

Food and service very good - always worth a trip

The selection of vegetarian dishes is limited, there is only 1 warm dish (baked potato with vegetables). We also had to limit our choice of food as a group so that the kitchen staff would not be overwhelmed. Some of the staff are very unfriendly.

As a Swiss abroad, back in my old homeland. And then off to Ohmstal with my mother. An absolute “must”. And no one creates such a delicious farmer's bratwurst like the Kurhaus. And by the way - the great staff and the rustic atmosphere create an unforgettable stay. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Switzerland ;-)

Super friendly staff and delicious food. However, the Pfännli with chicken is not really recommended, as the meat arrived at the table practically completely raw. It takes 20 minutes for it to be cooked at the table... Then the side dishes are no longer available 😉. All in all, you are always in great hands here and receive friendly service.

I was here and certainly not the last time. From the welcome to the service to the boss, everything is perfect. The kitchen conjures up fine food and the dessert is a poem. As a not-so-lover of desserts, I took a burnt cream and was simply thrilled. The menu is well stocked and the atmosphere in the individual rooms exudes a homely feel. Come and you will be amazed. By the way, the toilet is worth a look even if you don't have to go there. I can only suggest the detour there and you too will be thrilled.

The food was excellent and highly recommended. The entire ambience is also worth seeing, even in the toilet. In summer, when the weather is nice, you have a view of the Alps from the terrace. A walk nearby is definitely great too.

We enjoyed a perfect chocolate cake and enjoyed the hospitality. Hospitality is given a lot of heart here. The hostess radiates a lot of joy and can count on a competent team. The rooms also offer interesting offers for groups. We particularly liked the old cellar.

September 2021 Today we came from Graubünden to the Kurhaus restaurant. Excited to see what awaited us, we found ourselves in a loving, rustic atmosphere. The boss showed us around the premises. Each Stübli has its own charm. We were amazed at the harmonious design of all the details and could hardly stop being amazed. But it wasn't just the ambience that convinced us, but also the food. And everyone put their heart and soul into it and served us very friendly. Yes, we can definitely recommend this restaurant and we would be happy to come back! October 2021 And because it was so nice and good the last time, we were able to spend a lovely evening here again, this time with a couple who were friends of ours. Very good food, nicely presented, good selection of dishes, friendly staff. The reaction was a bit strange when we asked about a change of seats. It was cold and drafty because the door was open for service on the very busy terrace. She couldn't understand why it should be cold. After a short rescheduling we were allowed to change places, which was again very nice. Thank you. The restaurant is very nicely furnished and decorated, great ambience. The toilet is original, but I always struggle to use it. I find the wooden toilet surface and the unfinished wood of the door very unhygienic. I would replace the wooden bar that everyone touches in the toilet with unwashed hands with something washable...
