Service: very polite and ready to serve with professional attitude Mood: classic with lots of windows Food: the food quality is good. But I saw many similar dishes (with the classic concept ) in other restaurants. So there wasn’t wow moment for me. It would be great that they can find their own uniqueness for the dishes?

Definitely worth an experience. Our vegan menu was highly recommended. Much to our delight, there was even a matching vegan wine accompaniment to 1 course. We are already looking forward to the vegan summer menu.

What else can I write, I have read some reviews and am happy to share my experiences. The food, amazing from the amuse bouche to the Mini Berliner as a surprise at the end, the service, generous, warm, personal and competent, the atmosphere, friendly, nostalgic and simply beautiful. You feel comfortable and are well supported by the young team. You can feel the joy and the desire to offer guests something special. This was more than successful during our visit last night.

Yesterday evening we spent an unforgettable time in the Oberstadt restaurant. The food was simply fantastic! But it wouldn't have been the perfect evening if it hadn't been for the server and sommelier ALEX. He accompanied us for over three hours, fulfilled our every wish, explained every single course, recommended the best wines and had very interesting background information on everything. He took his time with us and was never intrusive. He had the feeling to “pick us up” from a long and hard day and welcome us into his world. We were able to quickly forget everyday life and let ourselves go. We will always have fond memories of this perfect all-round package. A very big MERCI, dear Alex!

Without question 5 stars - the garden is beautiful and the food is second to none. We particularly remember the crayfish bisque, the salmon with crispy fennel and the house-smoked spare ribs. We'll definitely be back!

This review refers exclusively to the prices. Service was really great! The food was okay - but not great either. But what is required here for tiny portions is effectively beyond good and evil. One of the people who were there with us has been working in fine dining for 20 years and couldn't understand the prices either. Half portions at double the price? Sorry, but a few more Gault Millau points or at least 2 Michelin stars would be expected.

Nice restaurant, a bit cold, but lots of space between the tables and an impressive 8-course menu. In this price range, however, Michelin must also be offered. Many courses were excellent. A few but surprisingly bland (the plaice was extremely lacking in flavor, I've already forgotten the veal and the last dessert is also available pretty much everywhere). The service is also so comfortable and inattentive that you haven't quite reached the star level yet. Nevertheless, a nice evening with a little (hopefully warmer) air in the air

Excellent food and particularly well-designed, modern & exciting dishes. The menu is flexible from 3 to 8 dishes (sizes are adapted and appropriate; we had 5). It's noteworthy that they also have a vegan menu with 3 to 5 courses. The evaluation of 14 points from Gault Millau is too low for the quality you get here.

All in all, the four of us were able to spend a very successful and cozy evening in this restaurant. The ambience is puristic, but very harmonious. A pleasantly warm and cozy atmosphere like at home in the living room and therefore very successful. The service made an effort, even if a bit chaotic. The friendly welcome from an employee meant that the aperitif order was immediately taken. The other service employee didn't realize this and wanted to explain everything again and take the drink order. However, the mineral water was only served to the table by both waiters after the third request. The sometimes nervous running around is also not appropriate for a restaurant like this. It is well understood that this can certainly be a good and efficient way of working in a bar, but not on the restaurant floor. As some restaurateurs have internalized the need to do all the work you see along the way right away, sometimes it's difficult to suppress this and do it maybe 2 minutes later rather than rushing around. So a somewhat hidden compliment with a wink and a little hint. Chatting at the highest level 😊 All in all, we felt very taken care of and well looked after. Now to the kitchen. Terrific!! A culinary highlight in Baden and I would be happy to recommend this restaurant. The dishes were produced with great effort and it is a pleasure to enjoy this beautifully prepared culinary delight. You can feel the joy and respect for the expert processing of the food. The prices are absolutely justified for the fresh, convincing products. Compliments to the whole team! It has been a long time since I have been to such a fine restaurant. Everything from the welcome, atmosphere, design, seating in the garden, the menu selection, food, price and wine was fantastic. We had the set menu, the individual courses were explained to us by the chef and pared with really great fitting wines, which we could taste before deciding on whether to actually have. We were made to feel really special. The service was superb - it was an experience I will remember for a long time.

This restaurant is a real gem! Personally I love this kind of concept of many little dishes in a 3-8 course menu as you are able to experience different creative tastes and flavours. The chef is very creative and you can feel the passion behind. Of course food is a matter of individual taste and someone might like one creation more or less but all in all the culinary is absolutely amazing and is changing monthly. What however has even exceeded my expectation is the incredibly friendly and excellent service. Every single one was very welcoming, warm and dedicated to the guests; dining in the garden in summer additionally gives a kind of vacation feeling. I will definitely go back and recommend Restaurant Oberstadt to all fine food lovers.

The restaurant is slightly off the centre of Baden, where it fits perfectly with its cosy atmosphere. The food is delicious. While it fully qualifies as fine dining, the atmosphere and the crew are absolutely not pretentious, although well trained, making for a very pleasant all-round experience.

We were able to enjoy a great dinner in the cozy garden. The food was creative and very tasty, especially the water buffalo tartare with the peppy salsa. Some flowers from the garden could also be found on the plates. The service was competent, humorous, courteous and uncomplicated. Just the way we like it. Great! We look forward to the next visit.

We were in Oberstadt yesterday Sunday evening. We were allowed to sit outside at a beautifully set table. The table was in a cozy separate area in the truly unique garden. The service was extremely courteous and the chef also competently explained the individual dishes to us in detail. The food was excellent and we had a great evening! The restaurant is highly recommended!

I attended a business lunch in Oberstadt with “NetWorking Baden”. Two beautifully set tables awaited our 17 guests on the cozy terrace surrounded by trees. The freshly cooked, seasonal menus were beautifully presented and tasted impressive. The service and kitchen processes are well-rehearsed and the staff was friendly. I would like to mention the advanced online reservation system with email reminders. A practical thing!

The restaurant is located in a quiet, cozy area of ​​Baden. The accompanying garden is fantastic. The menu consists of 2 menus (normal and vegan) as well as individual seasonal classics. It can be combined to taste. I chose the vegan 5-course menu. The staff was courteous, very nice, but sometimes a bit unfocused when the red wine was poured into the white wine or it was difficult to decide which side should be served. The "normal" menu was very good in terms of quality and value for money. But not the vegan one. The portions were small and the dishes were not complete. A trio of artichokes is not a main course! Salt and spices were missing in every course. There's still a lot of room for improvement here, because a vegan menu doesn't just consist of side dishes!

I am a photographer and was allowed to accompany my bride and groom with my camera as they spent the entire evening there with their company. First of all, the food from the Oberstadt restaurant was incredibly good! I would say that the whole company was overwhelmed! The whole team was really very open and organized. It didn't go unnoticed by them that I didn't have time to eat a few snacks myself during the aperitif. Every now and then a young gentleman came and handed me a couple of snacks (which were absolutely delicious, by the way) The rooms, details and the lighting atmosphere were also very, very beautiful! I will definitely come and visit you again soon with my family.

Was ich an diesem Restaurant vor allem liebe, ist das tolle Ambiente, welches einen in das authentische Italien versetzt. Wir hatten zwei Pizzen, welche beide sehr lecker geschmeckt haben. Auch bei früheren Besuchen waren wir immer sehr zufrieden. Einzig der Service könnte etwas aufmerksamer sein, was je nachdem aber auch in Zusammenhang mit den fehlenden Deutschkenntnissen steht. Diese wurden jedoch mit einem Lächeln wett gemacht und irgendwie ist die Verständnigung auch so immer möglich.

Die Pasta in Parmesan sind hervorragend, wenn auch ein bisschen teuer. Das Filet super. Kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren zu dritt, die 3. Person bekam ihr Essen erst 10 Minuten nach uns.Die Sosse meiner Pasta war zu schwer und nicht geschmackvoll.Der Gipfel war aber der "Rauswurf". Wir wollten kurz vor 22.30 Uhr !! noch etwas zu trinken bestellen, da durften wir hören, dass sie jetzt schliessen und nichts mehr servieren. Die anderen Gäste waren kurz vorher gegangen und anscheinend wollte der Wirt seine Ruhe haben!Dieses Restaurant habe ich einmal besucht und werde es sicher keinem weiter empfehlen.

Wir haben kurzfristig nach einem Tisch für 2 mit Kleinkind angefragt und haben uns auf einem gelungenen Abschluss eines herrlichen Tages gefreut. Das Restaurant macht einen guten Eindruck und das Ambiente ist gemütlich. Kindersitz oder Wickeltisch sind nicht vorhanden und so wurden wir mit dem Kinderwagen in einen Nebensaal gelotzt der bis auf eine Frau mit Kaffee leer war. Meine Frau bestellte einen "gespritzen Sauren" und erhielt von der Serviererin welche kein Wort Deutsch konnte ohne Rückfrage ein Bier in einem Weinglas. Nach längerem Warten durften wir endlich bestellen und nach weiteren 20min erhielten wir dann unseren Salat (welcher eigentlich gut war). Bis wir aber unsere Pizza erhielten mussten wir ganze 2h warten (ab Betreten des Restaurants). Meine Frau erhielt nicht die Pizza welche sie bestellt hatte und wurde danach auch noch dafür zurechtgewiesen das dies ihr Fehler sei weil sie extra Büffelmozarella bestellte und doch klar sei das Mozarelline Büffelmozarella sind (steht nigends) und die Serviererin daher davon ausging das sie eine andere Pizza meinte als die die Sie bestellte (?!?). Der Fehler lag klar nicht bei der Bestellung meiner Frau und das sie hierfür beschuldigt wurde ist eine Frechheit. Der Fehler wurde korrigiert indem hastig noch ein paar Zutaten auf der Pizza verteilt wurden. Die Teig der Pizza wie auch derjenige der Calzone waren nicht durchgebacken. Da unser Sohn bei der Hitze im Raum nicht schlafen konnte und wir unterdessen sehr frustriert waren, haben wir das Essen vorzeitig abgebrochen (machen wir sonst nie). Eine Entschuldigung oder einen Preisnachlass erhielten wir nicht. Ich kann mir vorstellen, dass das Restaurant gut ist wenn man Glück hat, denn es scheint Potential vorhanden. Wenn man jedoch Pech hat, ist es eine ganz miese und überteuerte Angelegenheit. Für uns und unsere Bekannten defintiv das letzte Mak, denn das Brunello und auch das Adesso haben weitaus mehr zu bieten.

Das Restaurant hat für meinen Sohn, welcher 10-jährig ist und nochmals Supplement bei Gnocchi wollte, noch einmal den vollen Preis verlangt. Nach Erhalt der Rechnung von CHF 320.- habe ich höflich beim Chef nachgefragt, ob dies wirklich richtig sei für einen Jungen von 10 Jahren CHF 55.- zu verlangen. Es hat ihn nicht interessiert und er hat mir migeteilt, dass er niemals über den Preis diskutiert. Wir waren 3 Erwachsene und 3 Kinder ohne Vorspeise mit Pizzen und Dessert. Ich werde dieses Restaurant nie mehr betreten und entsprechend auch so in meinem Umfeld entsprechend promoten. Well done grosser Chef mit leerem Haus. Jetzt weiss ich auch weshalb.

Das Ambiente gefällt mir sehr gut. Die Beleuchtung ist sehr dezent und man fühlt sich wohl. Die Tische sind mit einem weissen Tischtuch überzogen, was auch einen gepflegten Touch hergibt.Das Essen war aber leider sehr enttäuschend:Der gemischte Salat war zwar schön präsentiert, aber die mir bekannte Fertigsalatsauce aus 08/15-Restaurant schmeckte mir gar nicht.Die Garstufe beim Rindsfilet hat zwar bei meinem Mann gestimmt, aber bei mir war der erste Drittel durchgebraten, obwohl ich medium bestellt hatte. Die Sauce wäre nicht schlecht gewesen, wenn man sie nicht mit billigem, ranzigem Trüffelöl verschlechtert hätte. Der dazu servierte Risotto war versalzen und bissfest.Zu einem gutem Stück Fleisch hätten wir auch gerne einen guten Tropfen Wein. Es ist nicht so, dass ich eine ausgesprochene Weinkennerin bin, aber der Wein im Offenausschank ist billiger Fusel, der teuer verkauft wird.Wenn die Qualität stimmt, bin ich auch bereit etwas dafür zu bezahlen. Aber hier stimmt sie nicht. Man bekommt das Gefühl: teures Essen, billige Zutaten. Schade um das Lokal.

Wir waren schon mehrmals im Borgo Antico und nie hatten wir was zu bemängeln. Service und Qualität Stimmen. Preislich sind sie im oberen Durchschnitt, hat den Vorteil das nicht zu überfüllt ist und der Service die Aufmerksamkeit auf die besetzten Tische lenken kann.

Innern und im Freien sitzt man gepflegt und dich gemütlich. Haben sehr gut gegessen, getrunken, Bedienung ist freundlich und perfekt. Grosses Lob eines wohlwollenden, aber auch kritischen Gastes.

Die location auf der Terrasse lädt zum verweilen ein und ist sehr schön und angenehm. Das Essen ist spitze und die Geschmäcker authentisch gekocht und sehr schön präsentiert. Wir waren super zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder!
