The only good thing about this restaurant is its location but the service is terrible, it takes a long time to order something and pay the bill. The waiters were very rude and there was a lot of unpleasant shouting coming from the kitchen. DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!!

We were warmly greeted on the phone and at the restaurant, but despite a reservation there was no table available when we arrived at the agreed time. We waited at the entrance door with the other guests until we could sit down. More tables were arranged and the waiters from outside (terrace) took this into the house. You could tell that the waiters didn't communicate well with each other. The team was nervous and stressful, this reflected on the guests and you could tell. The behavior in front of the guests and towards the team members was cheeky. The order was lost not only for our order but also for the other guests, we got this. I ordered a hot stone with meat, it didn't come as ordered, but I accepted it anyway. This was also communicated to the team. The team was friendly towards the guests. I waited half an hour for my starter and an hour for the main course. The food was good. Cold vegetables, the meat was good, fries too. The waiter forgot ketchup and mayonnaise, so I had to get up myself and go get it otherwise I would wait too long. They didn't want to have dessert because it took too long and the waiters were overwhelmed with the guests. Guests came who just wanted something to drink. They waited for half an hour and left the restaurant. This waiter came and wanted to serve the drink but the guests were no longer there. The waiter was upset. Beautiful view.

Large selection of lunch menus, top quality and the prices are fair

It's in front of the lake, so it has a nice atmosphere, and it's a good place to stay for about an hour after visiting Mt. Rigi. It's right in front of Weggis dock, so it's nice to see the cruise ship coming and go out. Above all, the food was delicious. I had lamb steak, olive pizza, and cream pasta. It wasn't too salty and they even added red pepper oil and cheese powder to the pasta. Of course, I didn't order carbonated water, but they poured it for me and it was on the receipt, so I paid for it... I guess it's the culture here. (For reference, I also ordered a bottle of wine.) It's perfect to take the cable car from Rigi Kaltbad to Weggis at 12:15, have lunch here, and then take the cruise at 2:05 to Lucerne.

The waitstaff's behavior was incredibly frustrating. I mean, there were just these two waiters in the whole restaurant, and it felt like they couldn't be bothered to pay any attention to us. So, at first, I thought maybe they were just super busy when I tried to flag them down for the bill, but there was no response. But it became clear that something was off. Our conversation went something like this: I said, "Hey, could we get the bill, plz” Again “Hi!" Then my girlfriend chimed in, "Hi, we'd like the bill, please." And I tried again, "Hi, can we have the bill, please?" But all we got from the waiter was a lazy "Umh," without any eye contact and they couldn't even manage a complete sentence when talking to customers. It was seriously frustrating, and honestly, we were both like, "What the heck?" And to top it off, it took them an excruciatingly long 20 minutes just to hand us the menu. They kept saying they'd come to us, but in reality, I had to keep trying to make eye contact with them, and still, no response. It was just unbelievable. I will never recommend this place ever and it's the worst thing a experienced in Swiss.

Went here for lunch after spending the day at Mt.Rigi. Sat at a table for about 15 minutes without being attended to. Only two staff were present and both were unfriendly, made no eye contact. We walked out in the end. Would not recommend this place unless you have ample time to kill and have a thick skin to digest arrogance from the staff 🙄

Despite a reservation, there was no table available when we were there at the agreed time, despite the fact that there were two small children when we made the reservation, there were no children's chairs available, and none were brought later. The food was ok to good, the service poor. Nobody needs ketchup and mayonaise with their pizza. Why do you have to ask for a plate when when you order it is already stated that the children will share the pizza? Price and location were ok.

Hit and miss. Depends who is your waiter and chef. Dined there twice and one night it was absolutely rubbish with unprofessional waiter demanding a tip and mediocre food. Two days later service and food at the top level.

The waitress' service was the worst. There were no customers, but the waitress made us wait by talking and chatting with the staff. When I asked to pay, they said the card payment machine wasn't working, so I waited for over 30 minutes. When I looked at other customers inside making payments, they came right away and paid.

If you're an American tourist, I would not recommend this. We have small stomachs and were treated differently after not being able to finish our plates, DO NOT ASK FOR A TOGO BOX! even after giving a 20% tip. Would not recommend!

Ugh, the pizzas aren't great, there's no tomato sauce on the base, the base of a pizza is tomato sauce. I counted six small pieces of chicken for the Dörfli pizza, plus a lot of dough, but almost nothing empty inside. I think it's a tourist trap restaurant who don't know how to make pizzas, even I do better, in short very disappointed when we're not happy we say it especially plus that it's expensive for what it is.

The tortellini were purchased for the hefty price of 32.90 ChF per person, and the sauce didn't taste like it was homemade either. It was simply too expensive for this dish with the promised huge prawns (which turned out to be very lean). I hoped for more from this restaurant.
