Restaurant-Pizzeria du Stand de Vernand in Romanel-sur-Lausanne

Very noisy and some small practical changes = 1 damp towel for the frog legs and prawns galore which are eaten with the fingers, no more finger rinse (water + lemon bowl) bqqq + efficasse, and no more plate to place the waste on so much so that we quickly find ourselves with 1 full plate, between the waste and the still to eat!!! Barely 9 p.m., the waiter already shows signs of annoyance when we ask him for the bill because we had to leave!!! I came quite a few times, brought quite a few people, recommended quite a few too, but there... oopssss!!!

The food is very good, it's worth stopping

We went on Monday night, three people, the food was excellent, the service very attentive. The decoration of the living room is very worn. The toilets are somewhat dirty and the stairs and the hallway to the bathroom are neglected and give the impression of being dirty. Recommended place, too bad, the place in general needs attention.

Everything was really great! Excellent welcome, service and product quality. A pleasant time spent with our friends. We will come back. THANKS .

A good value for money restaurant

Menu of the day: Horse steak with garlic sauce, excellent and very tender👍 however the fries were cold. 😢 The seafood spaghetti was very good 👍 We had dessert, unfortunately the ice cream had a little heat and had melted slightly🍧...she waited a while towards the window in the sun.🫣 Several menus to choose from and quick service for the menu, the waitress was very friendly despite the crowd,

Quality home cooking. Large free parking on site and the big plus, a playground with cabin, swing and sandbox.

Session (general assembly) in the Vernand stand room, capacity for 14-15 people around their large table. Pleasant service. Birthday meal on a Thursday evening, there were 26 of us, we had part of the restaurant privatized for us, it was great to have our own little corner. The waiter was very helpful and pleasant, the food was very good. Value for money more than adequate, thank you for the welcome.

Pasta carbonara is pasta with pork fat I think. Disappointed with my dish, however the starters and other dishes were very good.

We come every year with 20 people. This year will be the last. A ticket for almost 2000 euros, not even a free coffee or digestive and when I make the remark they laugh in my face. Too bad, it was a place I liked. The waitress was, however, very friendly. The food is good but there are a lot of restaurants that are minimally commercial.

We had a gallows menu. Starter consisting of shrimp was good and well seasoned. The quantity of meat was very sufficient. Good quality meat. The gallows came with rice and some vegetables. The quantity of rice was also sufficient but it could have benefited from a little more vegetables for our taste. As for dessert, we asked if we could choose it and the waiter told us that he would bring us the dessert menu but another waiter finally brought us a tiramisu without offering us anything else. We accepted it except for one of the people who asked for a lactose-free dessert. The waiter made the effort to offer a sorbet. We appreciated the effort. As for the taste of the tiramisu, it was homemade but the cream was not mascarpone and it lacked a little taste overall. On the other hand, nothing to say about the quantity once again. Concerning the service, the servers are attentive and smiling, even if there is a slight lack of organization. The restaurant is a little noisy due to its size but otherwise nothing to report. Its parking lot was very large. A good restaurant despite a few small details to sort out.

With friends, good brasserie, good meat for Chinese fondue, Burgundian and gallows. The owner's wine is very good and affordable. Large restaurant and terrace in summer. The big highlight is also the parking. As a couple I was less satisfied.

I recently had dinner at the Stand de Vernand restaurant-pizzeria. The pizza I tasted was good, although it is important to note that it was thin crust style, not wood fired. This will particularly suit fans of thin dough, offering a light and crispy texture. Although different from traditional wood-fired pizza, it was still tasty. The service in the restaurant was extremely friendly and efficient. The staff was attentive and ready to accommodate our needs, which greatly contributed to our satisfaction. They also offer a variety of other delicious dishes. We had the chance to taste the tartare and the spaghetti flambés, which were also very good. The flambé adds a special aromatic touch to the dish. Another positive aspect is the possibility of taking the surplus (Doggy bag) if necessary, which is a nice option for those who cannot finish their meal. To recommend without hesitation.

When you take takeaway pizzas, the price is random between 14 chfr or 16 chfr for no reason even if on their site it is noted as 14 chfr. But the pizzas are good.

The specialties Frog legs are to die for. Super friendly service. Big downside is the noise... the room being large we can't hear each other spoken, it's a shame we should perhaps try to install noise absorbing elements.

The location is ideal for gatherings as the restaurant is large and located not far from a motorway connection. The pizzas are very good, but the melted meat and gallows specialties are worth trying.

Great discovery! A very comprehensive menu, there really is something for everyone. The pizzas are very good and quite large. The carbonara pasta was excellent and rather well served! The service was very good too. We will definitely return.

We were very poorly received, no good evening, rude bordering on aggressive! The dish was very poorly presented, on an unsuitable plate and the quality leaves something to be desired! The next day I had bloating and diarrhea and so did my friend who had the same meal! Very disappointed with this establishment, I will not return there again!!!!!🤮

In the google map it is written that this place is open until 12.00 A.M which is true. However, they do Not serve food after some time that is not explained. We were there around 10.30P.M and the kitchen were closed but the bar was open . Also, they dont speak English.

I am a regular at this restaurant for these unlimited prawns, however this Saturday June 4, 2022 I was disappointed with the service. Indeed the restaurant was very full but we had to wait no less than 1 hour between the end of the 1st tray and the service of the 2nd, despite several requests from the waiter.
