We arrived at 14:00, the sign on the door says they close 14:30 but yet we were turned away. Not accommodating at all. Found a better place to eat across the road

We went to the Brasserie Ratskeller for dinner. I have to say, I have never waited so long for the service staff. We asked for the menu and the waiter said: "Big kitchen is closed" but everyone around us ate. After 15 minutes we asked again. Then it worked. The tartare was delicious. The burger too. My partner asked for ketchup and when the waitress came the fries were already cold. So service definitely needs to be improved. Attention.

The main courses are stroganoff and entrecôte. The entrecôte was served in a Café de Paris. The entrecôte was tough and partly. not edible (chewable). The meat was of poor quality and riddled with tendons. The stroganoff was also not as tender as usual. I pointed out to the waitress (who was extremely friendly) that the meat was tough and inedible. She reported this to the kitchen and the boss. Neither the kitchen nor the boss found it necessary to come to our table and discuss this. The two main courses cost just under 50 CHF each. The entire meal was over 200 CHF. When we finally paid the bill, the waitress asked us if we would come back. I found the question very special.

We waited an impressive 75 minutes for the food, with two hungry children, while other tables that were occupied later had long since received their food. After about 30 minutes I asked for a potato salad as a starter for my little one. (However, it was sold out, so bad luck.) It was only after a good 50 minute wait that the waiter noticed that the receipt had been wasted in the kitchen, meaning the food had been completely forgotten. Nothing happened other than a verbal apology. No “greetings from the kitchen” or a basket of bread to make it easier for the children to get through the waiting time. Nobody even came up with the idea of ​​a small compensation such as a desert for the children. It wasn't even noticed that most of the drinks were long since empty. Really sad! The food was okay.

Zum Zweiten Der erste besuch war einfach überwältigend. Bedienung absolut Top Speisen hervorragend. Jedoch waren wir am Wochenende nochmals Essen. Der Service war nicht ganz so zufriedenstellend wie beim ersten besuch wir waren etwas enttäuscht. Ich denke dies war Stress und Corona bedingt. Trotzdem war das Personal sehr Freundlich und Professionell Fondue etwas überteuert aber das essen war sehr gut. Einen Besuch lohnt sich auf jeden fall.
