It's a shame, the Schwanen used to be a cozy country pub with Rosmarie and Werner, where people liked to stop and discuss horses and the world. Unfortunately, the pub is now being misused for political purposes and you are confronted with opinions in the rain or in the tent you don't want to hear.

Very fine fondue chinoise was eaten in the heated tent in the evening with mixed salad, fresh vegetables, great meat, fine sauces, mini tortelini and fries for only CHF 36.50 per person. Very friendly host couple. You just dress warmly and it's so comfortable. It's nice that "ALL are welcome". We drove from Zurich to Altnau especially for this. We'd love to come back again and again!
