Well, then let's take it easy: My trip to the "traffic jam" was really awesome, people! In there at midday, the sun is shining, and I think to myself, hopefully it will work out. And BAM, was I blown away! First there was this bruschetta. I'm telling you, so fresh and crunchy, just perfect to start with. But then came the real hit: the burger. Guys, I swear this was the best burger of my life. Imagine there's a fried egg on top that melts so perfectly with every bite - just awesome. The meat? A dream. Juicy, to the point, with that perfect medium-rare juice mixing with the egg yolk - it's got your taste buds dancing the samba. The ingredients were all top notch, and the sauces? Homemade and super delicious. And despite all the lunch rush, the atmosphere in the "traffic jam" was totally relaxed. The crew was really on the ball, super friendly and really took their time with you. Felt like a VIP, really now. In short, the visit to the "Stau" was not just a lunch, but a real revelation. Can't wait to go there again. If you're in the mood for an outstanding burger and cool vibes, you just have to stop by. Trust me, you won't regret it!

I stopped by this trendy location in the afternoon for coffee and cake with a group of seniors. Everything was great, including the service.

9:40 p.m. "The kitchen is ready" was the statement from the lady at the reception. No hello no nothing. Thanks for the arrogant way of treating customers.

Traffic jam? The restaurant was a third full today. Unfortunately we weren't able to order dessert or coffee for 40 minutes... the bus left afterwards. The livers were good as usual. A pity....

For 50 francs half a cordon bleu received 1 star from me

First-class food in a great atmosphere, but it also comes at a price. Unfortunately there is no lunch menu on weekends, so you also eat from the (evening) menu at lunchtime. A burger with bacon and fries costs an impressive CHF 34.50!! But because of the quality it still gets 5 stars.

Very nice atmosphere. Service catastrophic. Not friendly, not courteous, not motivated. You could see from a distance that the employee didn't feel like working. She thinks to herself, they're just tourists, they won't come back anyway, why be friendly!? Food OK. Was there on 2/2/24, 3:30 p.m.

It was a thoroughly impressive experience visiting this restaurant twice during my vacation. The quality and taste of the food was outstanding, the atmosphere was very inviting and the service was excellent. Unfortunately, on the second visit there was a mistake with the main course - something that can occasionally happen in restaurants. But unlike many other experiences, here we received a remarkable response. The chef's personal apology was a rare and impressive gesture. The team responded in an extremely generous and professional manner, which shows true commitment to guest satisfaction and deserves high praise. Overall, I can fully recommend this restaurant. The outstanding quality of the food, the inviting ambience and the impressive hospitality make it a highly recommended choice, keep it up!

Very nice service, who is also open to a little conversation. The food is also reasonably priced and fine. Next time we will definitely visit again. The boss is also a quick guy.

Nice ambience and friendly service

Nice setting with a very wine bar atmosphere, decent dish but not very plentiful... A little disappointed with the billing: we were charged 10 CHF for the two carafes of water even though we consumed beers and wine.. A bit tricky when it's not written on the card!

I was impressed by the friendly service and the tasty lunch menu! 🍽️. *highly recommended* I was in a “traffic jam” twice in a row because the food tasted so delicious. The selection on the menu is varied and seasonal. The portions are generous at fair prices. The atmosphere is very inviting. The volume of the background music is set just right so that you can have a good conversation. The service is friendly and attentive. We felt comfortable and welcome! Great service! Food but very expensive for small portions. Risotto would have needed a few more minutes and the saffron ravioli had no saffron flavor.

Statement from an employee: "A Swiss man is not allowed to pay with euros in a restaurant in Switzerland!" Funny, in three other places in Davos you could pay with euros!

Food very good. The salad dressing should have more flavor and be less watery. The waiting time at lunchtime, especially if you take the daily menu with salad, is far too long. Until the main course is served there is no time left for a coffee if you only have a 1 hour lunch break. Today we had very fine risotto as the daily menu. Unfortunately for hard working men the crowd was very small.

I was just here in the bar part for the last time. We consumed a few drinks and then asked for some tap water. This was charged at 3.- without any information, which I find a disgrace. If someone orders ONLY tap water, ok; but as?

Don't understand the good recessions. Very bad food, long waiting times and unhygienic conditions. A waiting time of over 65 minutes for two burgers!!! Our table faced the kitchen. The chefs drink without gloves while preparing and eat from the plates. I was sick before I got the food! I also have certain requirements for a burger that I order for 29 francs. Deserved less than one star, never again!!!

A young German waitress asked me quite briskly and somewhat snooty what I wanted. - The Swiss boss, who was about the same age, stood out because of her unusual loudness.

I spontaneously decided to spend a few days in Davos and decided to go there with our camper. I didn't feel like cooking, so I looked for a suitable restaurant and ended up at Restaurant Stau. I liked the coffee machine. An Eversys, anyone who chooses such a product also has to cook well and be a great restaurateur. It was like that too. The food was great. The portion size is perfect and the service was right and as a result so was the price. Yes, and the coffee? The espresso was great and put the finishing touches on the whole thing at the end. Keep it up!

We had burrata, beef tartar, ostrich filet, beef burger, calves’ liver. All beautifully cooked and presented. Service also excellent. Would highly recommend and will definitely come again!
