Always top lunch menus. Very friendly staff and chef. My tip: homemade pasta and the homemade veal ravioli, a dream. Moderate prices and good portions. I am very pleased! 💓

Great service, cozy atmosphere and fine food. Large selection of seasonal menus and the usual traditional classics. Huge covered patio when the weather is nice. Bonus: dogs welcome. Gladly again!

We were there for the first time since the reopening and it was great. Finally a restaurant that offers good wines at normal prices. The food is just as impressive as the service and the prices. We would love to come back! Still great in 2024, everything homemade and super delicious!

Sensational! Had a beef stroganoff from the daily menu. It came buttery and soft, prepared a la minute with homemade spaetzli. Reopened a year ago, the “Waldegg” still offers traditional Swiss specialties, but with “a little more love than perhaps normal”. e.g. with game directly from Uetliberg. Tip!!

The Restaurant Waldegg is an old traditional restaurant. Home-style, simple, typical old restaurant. Homely atmosphere, the menage is on the table :-) After being closed for a few months, the restaurant reopened about a year ago. What a joy I had yesterday... a sooooooooo nice couple who run the restaurant with a lot of dedication and friendliness. And last but not least, we ate above average. I have rarely (without exaggerating) had such a good cordon bleu. The restaurant used to be very authentic, not bad, but not 100% recommended either. But today it's definitely worth a detour. I'm already looking forward to a fondue in winter. Keep it up!!!!! thank you very much serge

Yes, the Waldegg restaurant in Uitikon is great: a small, time-honored restaurant with a tiled stove (!) is a gem, definitely! Very friendly hosts, the food, home-style cooking as you know it, simply wonderful! Reservation in advance is recommended 😉👍

We tested the NEWLY opened Waldegg and are very satisfied. Good, clear menu with fair prices. The service deserves extra praise, friendly and very accommodating. We'll definitely be back! A little less salt, but maybe the chef is in love ;-)

We were there and it was previously well maintained, in the old frame. 5. new very clean toilets!!! (Parking spaces 👍 behind the house) 6. Food, we had Wienerschnitzel Röschti was good average. 7. Services impeccable, even prepared for dogs. 8. Some improvements could be made ; Part restaurant for quick service for working people and 9. equip the left part more neatly with e.g. fabric runners/napkins... the Uitikoners (the Üdiker😀) would appreciate that! 10. Nice welcome, we were there at lunchtime, the food was good and served quickly. We'd love to come back. Very convenient near Zurich. There is private parking.

Food is ok. Staff is a bit unfriendly and inflexible.

Not recommended as the food had a strange aftertaste. When we complained about this after a short time, we were treated harshly by the boss. “They have never had any complaints and we have to pay for the drinks and there would be nothing left for us to eat.” I have rarely experienced such customer unfriendliness in a locality. Serious disappointment.

Been visiting this restaurant for years. It has a cozy atmosphere, a large parking lot and also an open and a covered outdoor terrace. The food here is home-style, with a selection of 12 to 15 daily dishes. A separate, demarcated room in the Biedermeier style is often used for family events. There are dishes à la carte here. The simple menus, which are not made in the Nouvelle-Couisin style, are affordable for everyone. The service was quick and friendly!

Unfortunately there was hardly any choice for vegetarians. And the spaghetti was a bit carelessly prepared.

Came here with 3 kids: fast service was a life saver. Basic food but good. Not a fancy place but great if you want something good, uncomplicated and relatively fast.
