Avoid this place! The (fresh?) owners are amateurs. I arrived on a Sunday at 7pm and the place was empty. I asked if the kitchen is open they said of course. After I got my drink they said they have some pig or cordon bleu but that’s it. No menu no options. The cordon bleu was served with lime rather lemon due it is Sunday(?), the potato was old and tasteless as they later told me because it was Sunday (?) again. I don’t know why are they even open if they don’t have the ingredients? They offered ketchup but then they realized they don’t have that either. At the end I asked the bill and… I received a peace of paper with a hand written number on it. Thats it! Then I could pay with Twint!! No bank card! Honestly don’t know if they this amateurs or they rather want to run a pub then a restaurant but the evening was surreal. I’m definitely not going back.

Be careful when pre-ordering tapas: I pre-ordered six different tapas for three people by phone. We were served food for about 6-9 people (at least we were able to take the food with us). This really surprised me because I emphasized several times on the phone that there were three of us and asked how many tapas you should usually order. I wouldn't eat there again because I didn't like the atmosphere either. I give two stars because the food was homemade.

Lunch with customer and business partner. Starter soup was not my taste. Forgot salt and some of the noodles were still hard. Ended up being warm water with noodles. Lasagna was ok. Was served very hot. It has to be like this. Dessert was very good. The service still needs to improve. You always serve the lady first.....😏 All in all ok.

Was in the Stadtkeller with a small group. We were welcomed and served very nicely. Super “Läberli” crispy Rösti as it should be. Everything fine. Old-fashioned restaurant with that certain something... will definitely come back...

I'm passing through and I end up there by chance one autumn evening. Typical atmosphere of these Swiss-German places. Nice customers at the stamm-tisch, a big plate of tasty mixed salad (I still have 250 km to go this evening...I have to stay light) but other customers treat themselves to nice dishes.

Very tasty food! We had a pizza prosciutto and a huge cordon bleu, both great! Staff very warm and accommodating. Inside there is a games room with a boxing machine, table football and more! There is also enough seating outside and enough parking behind the restaurant.
