Reusszopf in Luzern

I have no idea about Eritrea, Ethiopia, Somalia and all the surrounding countries, but the food seemed very authentic to me. We ate it with our hands, of course, you can also order cutlery. You empty the pot onto the flatbreads and then pick up the food with scraps of flatbread. The flatbreads are reminiscent of creppes. We later googled that you shouldn't lick your fingers and only use your right hand when eating. It was an experience and very good. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you don't get anywhere with German, French will help.

Unfortunately, the restaurant has not been reachable by phone for days.

Attention, this is no longer the Pizzeria Reusszopf, even if the restaurant is still advertised as such. Now there is very tasty Eritrean/Ethiopian food here. We were very satisfied: friendly service, fair prices, parking spaces in front of the house. We were practically the only guests not from Africa, which seems to be (still) an insider tip. This is certainly helped by the fact that the restaurant cannot be recognized from the outside for what it is.

RAENA GmbH in the Reusszopf restaurant is recommended. Something else. Different culture and fine food. It also has predatory properties.

Für ein offenes, großes Bier (5dl) verlangen die im Restaurant 7.- (sieben Franken)!Es war einmal eine schöne und gute Pizzeria. Nun ist es voller Eritreer.Schön dass sie ihren Platz haben, aber sie machen vermutlich für sich günstige Preise und für Schweizer das doppelte...Schade um das Lokal, welches ich seit Eröffnung kenne.

The food was fantastic. There has apparently been a change of ownership and the restaurant is now run in Eritrean style. We received a delicious traditional menu and the service was very friendly. Definitely worth a visit!

Very slow service. And opening times always change. You want to have lunch at 9 a.m. but it's closed. Not 1 week before. Open again after a few weeks?

Quiet place. The food is also very good. Very friendly service. You stay like this 💗😘😘
