10 out of 10 points wüki – brilliant charging. The food was great, the steam was great and it gave off a lot of gas. If you are there, it would definitely be money.

The spareribs are absolutely recommended! The staff was very friendly and even though it was very busy, we still managed to get a seat. It's definitely not a bad idea to reserve in advance. The location right next to the busy Mühleplatz with lots of bars and access to the beautiful old "obere Hauptgasse" is excellent. Prices are reasonable considering the location and the quality of the food and service.

Amazing food with a very good price! Tasty cocktails and cozy interior. The service a little lenghty but it was also a very busy evening :) I really recommend the place!

The food was good and the ambience was good too. It was my second time there and unfortunately I was disappointed with the service for the second time. Both times we were served by the same server. Very unfriendly, almost aggressive. The restaurant and the quality of the meal were good, but unfortunately the service was absolutely not.

The ribs are great, tender as butter and marinated deliciously. BBQ sauce with it was incredibly good. In my opinion, the side dishes could be a little larger, especially the coleslaw salad is too puny. The service was very attentive and the atmosphere was appealing. It certainly wasn't the last time we were there. 😊

We were craving meat and reserved a table for two at Ribs at relatively short notice. On our last visit in summer we were on the terrace, this time in the lounge: because we arrived early despite heavy snowfall, we had it almost to ourselves. Very attentive service and simply a great atmosphere! As expected, the grilled pieces (1x beef and 1x veal) were the stars of the evening; but the sauces were also great! There is also enough choice when it comes to side dishes, only a potato gratin is missing... And for dessert, cheesecake and apple pie. Because the courses come pretty quickly, we were already finished when a queue formed from the restaurant!

Stayed at Krone Hotel Looking for a delicious restaurant The shop is very close to the hotel. Good atmosphere by the water The staff take good care of you even though there are a lot of people. The ingredients are very good. Very delicious, recommended for people who like steak. The recommended ribs are delicious. The meat is very good. The pumpkin soup is delicious and the bowl is very large. Like it, definitely come again next time.

Sensational food, great service.

Cool atmosphere, nice service, beautifully prepared plates. The food was okay, but disappointing for the price. The mini portion of Coleslow salad shouldn't even be mentioned on the menu, as it was more of a nice decoration than an actual salad accompaniment. The fries were quite greasy, and the two chicken steaks were small and bland. You don't expect a large portion of a mini dessert, but we were amazed at how small the portion was for 5.50 Fr. That doesn't make up for the beautiful decoration. We wouldn't go there again.

Positively special....food, presentation on the plate, service, ambience...all good. Not the cheapest (not mega expensive) restaurant but worth every franc. Always happy. Would reserve...

If you want to eat meat, this restaurant is the right place. Cool atmosphere (the music was a bit too loud for me, but that's a matter of taste), friendly service and delicious food. I can only recommend the ribs.

We ordered ribs, roast beef and starters. Ribs and roast beef were absolutely good. Was unable to take photos..since the food took a while to be served and we were really hungry already..:)

Burgers were not fresh, they were delivered about 5 minutes after ordering. Bacon was dried out. You could tell the burger had been under a heat lamp for a long time. There was no reaction from the service staff when they kindly pointed this out to you.

The taste is just like old ribs (at the level of pulled pork). Asians were made to sit in 10-person seats even though there were seats for 2. I found out later that this type of racial discrimination was widespread.

Ended up at Ribs via TripAdvisor. Despite the crowds, we were served quickly. After ordering our food, we received our food after 9 minutes, very quickly! The service was very cursory, which made it feel like they were very busy. The food was great and so were the beers!

Dear prospective visitors to the Ribs in Thun! We went into the cave full of anticipation! Then, without even saying hello, a 1 by 2 meter wooden plaque was handed to us! When we looked at the menu we felt sick and had to get a loan from the bank! After ordering we had to wait...a long time! Dust has already formed on my fork! My body was already starting to eat itself! The service is like a heap of chickens! E.g. A winemaker dripped wine through the cave. The whole time, music was coming through our ear canal that was like a party for the seemingly dead! After about 10 years we got our 2 ribs and they were actually quite good! Overall I wouldn't recommend this juice shop! I'd rather go to the MC 200m further back!

Yes. The visit is a bit difficult to judge. We were there for the first time today (Sunday evening). I had the ribs burger. A burger named after the restaurant should actually give you a wow feeling. Unfortunately he didn't. The meat was good, the rest was okay. The bun wasn't toasted and tasted like it had been bought cheaply. There wasn't enough rib sauce on the burger for my taste. The same applies to the ribs sauce as to the whole burger. I thought it was okay, but I didn't get the wow effect. Onions could not be found on the burger, the bacon was placed on the burger. The fries were good. All in all, I would give this a 4* if... yes, if the waiting time hadn't been too long for the result. We waited over 30 minutes, which would have been okay even for me if guests who ordered after us didn't get their burgers and steaks and spare ribs before us. All in all, a down-to-earth meal, my burger not bad, but not wow either. I can't say anything about the steaks and ribs, but the platters that passed us looked good

Very fine ribs to eat. Friendly and competent service.

Had dinner in this establishment with my wife. Was seated at a table that had a faulty ceiling light turning off and on during meal. Staff were aware but still sat us there. Wife ordered a White Russian cocktail. It was anything but a White Russian. I had a taste and was like drinking water. Wife took it back to the bar to question staff and they were not surprised when they saw her approach. Obviously didn't know how to make it even though it was on the drinks menu. They offered to have another try but wife didn't want to risk it. Wife ordered ribs which were great and I ordered steak with baked potato. The steak was small and sinewy and not worth the 36CHF price. Cannot recommend this restaurant based on our experience.

I recently visited Ribs Restaurant and would like to share my experience. Overall, I have to say that I was a bit disappointed with my visit. Although the ambience was pleasant and the service friendly and accommodating, there was nothing special to discover about the food. I ordered the ribs, but unfortunately they weren't anything special and didn't really impress me. The side dishes, such as fries and coleslaw, were okay, but not particularly noteworthy. Overall the food was pretty average and I felt it lacked originality and taste. I'm sorry I can't give a more positive review, but I think it's important to be honest. I wouldn't necessarily recommend Ribs Restaurant unless you don't have high expectations for the food.

Small, fine restaurant in the city center with a compact menu, with a focus on fine meat. I think the atmosphere in the restaurant is great. Unfortunately I forgot to take photos of the food. Stupid, now we'll probably come back and catch up on this. ;-)

The atmosphere and decor are good, but the service is very stressed. You wait a very long time for your drinks (we waited 25 minutes) and our food took 70 minutes. Not really hospitable, because we didn't get a wine list either. We had to look this up on the internet ourselves. The food is fine, unfortunately it is not freshly prepared. Much comes from the freezer, which can also be tasted. Compliments on the wine options. Excellent wine list with great options. Unfortunately for us, never again.

7,5/10 The staff (the lady) is friendly and very enthusiastic💯 I couldnt eat much so we just ordered tartare, and beef entrencote. The tartare is really flavorful which serve with crunchy bread. However the steak was a bit bland. Probably it wasnt marinated long enough. Overall it was good experience

The food is very tasty, the spare ribs are amazing. But the ingredients and desserts are also absolutely recommended. There are only 4 stars for the service, not everyone is friendly and accommodating... I like the atmosphere, I like the furnishings. Tip: Don't seat too closely, very uncomfortable if the neighbors can/have to hear everything.

Dear Ribs employees, I heard that your restaurant is known for its delicious ribs. However, I was very disappointed to learn that the kitchen closes at 9:00 p.m. even though their opening hours are supposed to last until 12:00 a.m. I couldn't find any information about kitchen opening times on your website, so this was very surprising. As someone who enjoys eating out and trying new restaurants, I find this very unprofessional. I hope that in the future you will ensure that your customers are informed of any changes to opening hours and that the staff is able to provide your guests with a pleasant experience.
