Great for a snack or quick lunch

Terrible welcome and service, it almost seems like a nuisance. They are asked several times for a drink that was never brought but invoiced. I do not recommend this place

Excellent terrace, limited menu, ok service

You can already understand from the numerous signs inside what you are in for. “Forbidden to do this and that, don't stop there, don't pay by card, etc.” And in fact the staff reflects this annoyance towards the customer. You really seem to be bothered if you go for a drink. The serious thing is that arrogance and rudeness are shared by all employees, even by young waitresses in their early twenties. The interior is ancient and shabby. It's a shame, S. Bernardino doesn't need this, hopefully with the future relaunch of the village there will no longer be space for places like this, with that tired and stale aura of a glorious(?) past now gone. Space for those who want to work, for those who love contact with customers and for those who want to relaunch this beautiful place!

The most total disgust! Disdained by the treatment they gave us to my family and friends. There is a gentleman, it was not clear whether he was the manager/deputy or a simple waiter who treats customers like beggars!! He wanted to put 10 people (5 children) in a table for 4 and was super rude, also he called the police because he felt offended by us. The manager was terrible and rude to say the least! Furthermore, the police agreed with them without even listening to our version... San Bernardino doesn't need this, absolutely! I highly recommend the place!

Not even in underdeveloped countries have we received such treatment. Rude and incompetent manager. They select customers when the place is worthless. Old and dirty. Absolutely not recommended.

Pastry shop with tables outside, in winter without a cover or cushion. Retro/tacky place. Got a miniature slice of cake (fr.6.-) a ROBBERY and a hot chocolate fr.4.-. Now the season is short and they have to squeeze as much as they can out of you.... Never again

I went in the afternoon after taking a walk at Lake Doss. I tried two cakes, grandma's and an apple tart with cinnamon, really very good, even the hot chocolate with cream was delicious. The only thing that was missing was the welcome from the staff, they seemed to be listless in serving us... too bad!

I stopped to drink a chocolate on the terrace Pleasant place with excellent views of the mountains and landscape. I didn't like the staff very much. I've heard discussions with customers. Self service is not convenient. Too much waiting.

Beautiful, sunny terrace with great views. Very hot in summer when the sun is blazing due to the windbreak. The umbrellas are of little help late in the afternoon because they are in the middle of the table and only shade the food. The kitchen is rather simple and quite expensive. The service was friendly, but I waited so long for the bill that I finally paid at the counter.

Delicious food. Amazing service and unique environment. The staff are warm, pleasant and very friendly. I particularly appreciated the terrace with a simple but relaxing and welcoming view. Furthermore, the best part I find is that the interior design of the place gives off positive vibes and the always smiling staff fuels the overall quality of the restaurant. I will definitely return, I highly recommend passers-by in San Bernardino not to deprive themselves of a chocolate and a Brioché in the morning and to try some good particular craft beer in the afternoon or at midday. You can very well ask for advice from the staff who are always willing to put you at ease and serve you in the most appropriate and respectful as well as fun and cheerful way. 5 stars.

One young server was polite, the rest were curt and had a very loud and inappropriate conversation in front of the customers talking about, of all things, being rude to customers and how he was going to sack one of the girls if she did it again. Didn't bother saying goodbye when I was leaving, even though I had had no particular problem with them while there. I got the side eye when I sat alone on a couch even though i thought it best to sit in the back as i was going to have to breastfeed my baby and sitting up in a glassfront doing my motherly duty did not tempt me. It's the second time I've been here, and I just thought the first time it was just my imagination, but no. There are better places in this little town.

Nice Tea Room. Ham and Cheese Panini was fresh and tasted fantastic. Facilities were very clean and in great order.

Friendly service. Hearty food. (We had steak with fries, gnocchi with salad and a large Graubünden barley soup). Our children really liked it, and so did we. Nice terrace!

Very welcoming...spacious both inside and outside!!! Today, returning from holidays we went to the tea room again for a quick snack!!! It's very nice and spacious inside, they have a display case with pastries, which is also very good!!! It is located near Lake San Bernardino. It also has a nice large terrace outside!!! The owner is very kind!!! I highly recommend it for lunch or a good snack!!! They even make thick chocolates!!! Furthermore they have their own outdoor parking spaces!!!

Beautiful, very well-kept restaurant, there is a small lounge corner, everything was very nice and intimate, a panoramic part overlooking the sports center which was all covered in snow which gave it a magical touch. We didn't eat I only tried a portion of the alp cheese which was fabulous. Very friendly staff and always smiling.

San Bernardino, a charming mountain village, can be easily reached by exiting the 13 - E43, before entering the tunnel of the same name. Excellent opportunities for winter sports and walking. If you want to eat, have an aperitif, or a snack... the La Terrazza Bar Restaurant is highly recommended. In the center, with a small car park reserved for customers.

A 2cm wide apple strudel was served for 9.50. Not particularly friendly service.

What ways... you say hello and they don't look you in the face. After a few minutes of waiting for a seat you ask if you can sit at the free table and they arrogantly reply that you have to clean it first. We went to the place opposite, totally different ways, how kind here.

Very high prices and based on the moon of the waiters having a very small dog, you become a series A or series Z customer. The week before we were welcomed without any problem in the main room, the week after if it suited us we had to sit in a nearby corner at the entrance because I don't know what had changed, but we could no longer enter the room because there were tablecloths, thus also implying that they don't change them at every service....Given the costs of €6 per slice of cake and disproportionate prices for everything else, to be uncomfortable, we preferred to leave and certainly despite having been their customers for several years, albeit not regular ones, now they will never see us again...

Well the place is in a spectacular setting... but two adults and a three year old child and the child is served last... after lunch we ask you to leave the car in the reserved car park to look out for 5 minutes and see the river there nearby (half-empty car park) and they reply "as long as it's 5 minutes". I hope it was a joke!!!!.. otherwise everything is ok!!!!

A tradition in San Bernardino Village. Open every day also in low season. For workers as well as tourists. Simple dishes , good cakes coffee and drinks . A perfect place for kids. Parking (free )available .

The only positive note is that it is open on Tuesdays. Simple restaurant and not very clean, upon entering you noticed the uncleaned tables and the bathroom was dirty for both men and women. Cold and unhelpful welcome, we had asked to have lunch outside but they couldn't do so because it would have created a precedent...... even if we did it self-serve as indicated on the terrace. Surely in this way the tourist is attracted... to go to the first free bench and have a PICNIC. San Bernardino is really getting worse year after year both in terms of hospitality and availability of open public businesses. Compliments !!!!!!

Service was slow and dessert was not really good.

Not the best service given that for 4 simple orders plus the wait and at 3 different times. (2 ice creams+ 1 toast+ 1 coffee and a cake) Environment definitely in need of renovation...
