Great food, very nice and thoughtful staff.

We've eaten here several times and have had mostly good experiences so far, but unfortunately something went wrong this time. But service was friendly. The distribution of the starters was a bit mixed up so that in the end almost everyone had to pass their plates to the right person. Starters themselves were good. Unfortunately, the wine and IceTea were a little too warm. There was a complete mess with the main course... instead of the 3 pinsas we ordered, there were 3 pizzas, and one with the wrong topping... as an apology there was at least coffee and limoncello offered, but still only a "it can happen". But food was otherwise good. The seating at the table was only practical/comfortable to a limited extent. The seat cushion band was a little too low for comfortable eating at the table. Would definitely visit the restaurant again, but maybe. not exactly in the near future.

Very good, if he eats very well.

Poorly washed, unchopped lettuce with too little, tasteless sauce. The spaghetti very much! al dente with boring, bland sauce drizzled very sparingly over the pasta. The plate reminded me of canteen food. Without the slightest decoration. Just another pizza/pasta restaurant without innovation, without imagination, without momentum. Nothing special.

Nice pizzeria with very good food and nice ambience was there with friends.

Very tasty, Pins is preferable. It's sensationally tender and served on a black board. This is also good for cutting. And the whole thing is still inexpensive. I'll definitely go there again.

Spontaneously picked up a pizza on a Saturday evening. We were happy to respond to individual requests. The staff were friendly and accommodating as usual. Charming pizzeria where dining both indoors and on the terrace is recommended. The food can also be picked up spontaneously or after a call. Food and service was good. Only I wouldn't be sitting on the bench for the next few weeks. The bench is too deep or the table is too high for eating. Not pleasant!!! I'm not that short 1.65🙈

Unfortunately, my experience at Da Vito Restaurant recently was not as pleasant as I expected. The new boss, who seemed obviously unfriendly and overwhelmed, contributed to the visit not being as enjoyable as it could have been. It was unfortunate to see how she dealt with unexpected problems, as she often did not have an appropriate solution and instead reacted arrogantly. Although the food was still tasty, better leadership and a friendlier tone would have greatly improved the overall experience.

Good restaurant. I regularly get various take-away dishes such as risotto (1A), pastas and mostly pizzas. The pizzas are quite good, but get an award for being the smallest full portion pizzas in the world. I've never seen such small pizzas anywhere. Not even half a portion. The take away box is therefore a lot smaller than that of all Italian restaurants and delivery services. That's why when I'm really hungry and want a pizza, I prefer the competition. If you're not hungry, this isn't a problem

Very friendly and attentive with good food. The Frittura di Calamari would have to be served separately from the French fries. Otherwise you get French fries with calamari and not the other way around. We will order that next time we visit.

I ordered pizzas to take away over the phone today. At the end everything was repeated again because I noticed that the other person didn't speak German properly. Unfortunately I didn't check the order, it later turned out that only 1 pizza was filled correctly. The rest of the pizzas were not as I ordered. The anger was great.

Very good food quality. However, terrible service. Was waiting for 45 mins for 2 pizzas and 1 portion of French fries. The staff is prioritizing up their friends coming later and being served first. If you hug the waiter, wave to the manager inside and know the staff, you will be served first. Family on the table next to mine came 20 mins after my family and got their food well before us. Of course, they hug the waiter, know the manager. Very unprofessional staff and management, destroying enjoyment of very good food.

The service is really not good, people are more annoyed and try to be fake friendly. The ambience and the food are of a very high standard and there is nothing to complain about here. A good Italian.

The food was very fine. The staff is very motivated and absolutely friendly. The ambience is great. When the house is full, it is very loud inside and the steam vent in the kitchen is not optimal or does not extract properly.

Probably the best pizza in Bern. The restaurant is usually very busy and therefore a little louder. The staff absolutely does their best. It's best to pre-order pizza, pick it up yourself and enjoy it at home if you prefer to eat in a quieter atmosphere.

Super service, excellent food, good selection, nice wine list. The only small negative point = little parking space - we still come back again and again (see above) - reservation even makes sense on Monday.

Superb experience, delicious pizzas and daily menus always reasonable (4 different each time) and very good (salad as a starter then a main course, and a dessert for menu number 4). The service is good, the atmosphere warm and the waiters speak Italian and German. I recommend ! NB: Takeaway pizzas are much cheaper than on the menu.

Server not pleasant at all, frowns, not a smile. They made a mistake with the entry too! The food is acceptable but nothing more. Sells Italian but in a “tourist” way. Poor experience! I do not recommend!

The food was an absolute disaster! I ordered fried calamari rings with fries. The rings and fries were completely oversalted and seemed like they came from a kebab shop. The price didn't match the quality, the waiter said they weren't good either and charged me for them.

Great classic Italian restaurant. The service is very attentive and friendly. The food was really very good. When deciding between pizza and pinsa, I would definitely recommend a pinsa. The selection of different variants is huge, so everyone will find their favorite topping. If you don't want pizza or pinsa, there is of course a large selection of different pasta dishes.

The terrace area was converted into a winter garden WITH gas-powered patio heaters (hello energy crisis..?). In addition, long waiting times due to double occupancy of the full restaurant and winter garden. It's a shame.

We've been there several times. Pizza always top! Today I wanted something different. Spaghetti Carbonara… I thought that in an Italian restaurant the carbonara was edible. I was wrong! Ugh... the egg on the pasta was thick like it was divorced... The taste? Oof.. Never again. I told the boss. He just said...if I said it sooner If they had, they would have cooked me new ones 3 minutes later the waiter was there with the bill. Which we hadn't even ordered yet. My impression of August 2022: When ordering, the waiter didn't want to tell me the drinks they offer at this restaurant. They weren't listed on the map either. But I wanted something other than Cola, Rivella or beer. When it came to eating, I also wanted to have something I didn't know before and ordered the fig and honey pinsa (pizza with special dough) listed further down on the menu. It was really good and unknown to me before. Despite the slight dissatisfaction when ordering a drink, the rest of the evening was in a good mood and the service was good. The seating outside was a bit tight at times, but the overall atmosphere outside of the restaurant was pleasant.

Delicious original Italian pizza

Once again we enjoyed a wonderful evening at Da Vito! The atmosphere is what makes it, along with good cuisine and ideal wine. Our waiter MIRAT also contributed a huge part to this with his friendliness, competence and attentiveness! Eating out is a lot of fun: THANK YOU.

Really really good pinsa and soft pasta, we took two to take away which were the bomb. Not recommended in the evening as it is quite complicated to digest

My pizza wasn't good at all. It was pizza crust with salmon coarse onions and greens on top. The seafood riso was very runny with little seafood. Only my son didn't like the spicy pizza that much.

And then pizza is angry. Nr 1 Europe in Naples or Caserta in Naples by Michele and in Caserta masanielli di martucci.

Wonderful food. Unfortunately it was quite cold in the beautiful winter garden! That was a shame for a great evening... But we would still like to come back...

Five well-deserved stars. We had a spontaneous meal at Da Vito. The staff is friendly and attentive. The menu is diverse. We ordered two pizzas. Wow, we haven't eaten pizza this good in a long time. Price-performance is completely okay. We'll definitely be back.🥰
