Ristorante Vecchia Locarno in Locarno

Very nice Christmas market and many stalls selling crafts, food and Christmas accessories.

We wanted to go to lunch on August 23rd, 2022, it was 1110 a.m. there was no one in the restaurant and no one in the pretty garden. We then sat at a table for two and there was no table reserved. Then we waited for 20 minutes and then a waiter came and asked us if we had made a reservation, we said no, then he became even more abusive and went to have a look!!!! Then another came and threw away a sheet, a third put a handful of glasses of minetal in the kitchen. The first waiter was always discussing things with others and left us standing there for another 20 minutes. We got up at 1150 and left. Nobody was interested in us We ate a lot in Cittadella. We loved their good service and their absolutely top-notch fish cuisine, but the service has only become arrogant, cheeky and sloppy in recent years. I wish this company all the best with such bad employees at the front, but I'm convinced That the management of the company will notice at some point that they have to change something. Our consumption was around 250 fr with a good wine. For 2 people We won't be coming back.

Incredible service! Giorgio is simply unbeatable - it was our first time here and we already feel like we are REGULARS and definitely want to try it out!

15 degrees a cool. The Lady doesn't want to serve outside. Okay, I want to bring my coffee myself, refuse, why does he have to go out to clear the table afterwards?!?! A good policy!! He complains later when the customers aren't there. We customers have the choice, that lady has to live with us, oh NO....

The maid : I don't serve it outside, too cold.... What a service :-(
