ROK Klub in Luzern

Good evening, Normally an outstanding spot for long nights in small Lucerne. Good music, good ambience... Today, drum n'base... People were walking in lines back the same way they paid. Miserable

Unfriendly bouncers, but they leave you alone if you behave normally. Overpriced (20-30 Fr) and unpleasant atmosphere in the club. Music is ok. A small field castle costs 7 Fr

The theme of the music was 90s to 2010s. Was quite good. Just what you know and hear on the radio. 1 star deducted because unfortunately you had to wait about 30 minutes to hand over the jackets and bags because only 1 person was responsible for them. I don't even have to wait that long in ZH. 1 star deduction: in the end my colleague was given the wrong jacket and mine wasn't found. After explaining what my jacket looked like, it was found after all. 1 star deduction: It was Halloween and if you had a ticket you got a free drink if you were dressed up. That wasn't the case because they ran out of chips. In my opinion there are better clubs in Lucerne.

I wonder how many people cheat on them with the drinks. Aperol was 12 on the price list and the bartender charged the drink for 15. Just because we're in a club doesn't mean you can't take advantage of people just because you think they're drunk anyway.

Bouncer very angry and aggressive. Told myself I had to give my zip-up sweater to the cloakroom and pay 2CHF for it. Although it's quite cool inside the club and he otherwise didn't want to let me through. 1/5 stars because the bouncers “messed up” the whole evening.

Small basement club. Bouncers are a bit arrogant. Mixed audience. There is no dress code. Separate smoking lounge. It was dealt in public. Not crowded. Not much going on after 3:30 a.m.

Pretty nice club but the guy who takes the jackets is unbelievably incompetent and really rude. This makes the start of the evening already bad but the rest is totally fine.

Unfortunately, mostly very unfriendly bouncers, random selection at the door. I also find it rather questionable that nowadays only cash is accepted at the entrance to a club of this size…

I’ve visited the club a number of times by now. With confidence I can say, that the all over quality of the club is mediocre. The club staff is tremendously disrespectful towards its customers for no reason whatsoever. many of my experiences ended with a negative conclusion in many aspects. Some reasons: Wardrobe full before all people are in. Disrespectful and discriminating staff. For sure to many people for its square footage. tasteless dj‘s, unless they have some degree of fame. I hope that the club can improve in the near future and produce some drastic changes.

I feel very comfortable in the club, you get a friendly welcome and everyone does their best to please you, of course if you don't follow the rules you also have to bear the consequences for that. The club is for everyone, techno lovers as well as hip hop or 90's lovers 😍 Great club and for me it is one of the best in Lucerne!!

Very dubious basement. I got knockout drops a year ago. Was a driver and sober. I noticed it too, it wasn't even a drink that I hadn't paid attention to, the drops were just randomly sprayed towards the bottle in my hand, at first I thought he had spilled something. The guys stood near me the whole time and waited until I collapsed. It wasn't until I threw up in the toilet that I checked what was going on. I felt extremely unsafe because no one helped (after asking). Not worth it girls.

If you want to be really insulted by a lady at the entrance, you've come to the right place. Then they didn't go in.

The lady at the entrance was so unfriendly and arrogant that we still didn't go in after she insulted us so much. It's a shame, the security staff used to be decent.

They advertise that they are open until 9am. Security wouldn't let me in. I was on night duty and wanted to toast the New Year in the morning. It was just after 6 a.m. and I was sober.

Biggest letdown of last night. We had the tickets in advance and still had to wait in line for a very long time. After that we couldn't even hand in our jackets because there were no more numbers - catastrophe. The DJN was supposed to come at 1:00 a.m., then suddenly it wasn't until 3:00 a.m. There were so many people in the club that you just stood there and got annoyed. I wonder if it's even allowed to let so many people into these square meters?! Organization was poor and the staff were no help!!! The club is not recommended.

Worst experience ever! Bought Pre-Sale and waited over 1h in lane. Wardrobe was full at 12pm so another 30min of waiting. Club was overcrowded (like really, couldnt make a move without touching 5 others). Leaved the place before the mainact even started…

They wouldn't let us in after registering, which is what we did last week. The 'boss' said we had to leave!! Never again!!!! Thanks

We couldn't get in because we had 5 men and no woman with us.

The location and sound are really great. I have nothing to complain about there. The drinks are a little overpriced, but still within the Swiss range. However, the security staff are not at all professional and have caused more unrest in the club than the guests. Very unfortunate. It ruined the evening for many because the right people didn't have to leave the bar and the "troublemakers" were still in the club.

Good atmosphere in the bar and the security was very competent and friendly. I would love to come back in the future.😌💪🏻

Absolutely unfriendly and arrogant security staff. Turned more people away than let them in. However, the club was empty. It's a shame how people like that ruin your evening.

I was at Rok for the first time last Friday. As a techno lover, I wanted to explore something new. A friend of mine recommended the club to me and it was worth it from start to finish. The location resembles an underground club, but has a modern touch. The staff was extremely friendly despite the large crowd that evening. All in all, highly recommended and I will visit the club more often in the future.

The best club in Lucerne. I have always had positive experiences. Especially as a woman, I can say that I always feel safe in the club. The staff goes out of their way to make everyone feel comfortable, even though there are very stressful nights. In general, I can say that the staff and security are very authentic and nice. Simply top:) always happy!

Absolutely unfriendly and arrogant staff at the door, checkout, cloakroom and at the bar. Payment at the entrance is only possible in cash and the guest list is only valid until 0:30 - who can understand that?! You can't spend a good evening here. Conclusion: Very disappointing.

It used to be cool, but it's no longer fun anymore. Aggressive guests who fight in the smoking area and very unfriendly security staff. I go to a club to have fun, not to be bullied by arrogant bouncers. The mood is more of a chillie, unfortunately there was no mood to dance. It's a real shame, the location would be great.

Because of Corona, the ROK was divided into 2 sectors. Unfortunately it is not explained that sector 1 is at the front and sector 2 is at the back and unfortunately the sound quality in sector 2 is poor, no bass! I think this should be explained when queuing and not just rip off the guests for 20CHF!

Catastrophe! The staff is unfriendly, arrogant and self-absorbed. Bouncers don't have their job under control, but of course they're always super cool and stare out of the laundry and harass guests if their clothes are a little unclean. As the owner, I would change the staff as quickly as possible, otherwise I would see a black future for the store. Unfortunately you can't give zero stars - you deserve it. Never again, EVER!

A very disrespectful place showcasing racial discrimination. My friend and I tried to get entry here yesterday night(Saturday night) and even the day before, but were not allowed by the security person for no particular reason even when we had a swiss id permit. Everyone else in front of us and even after, were allowed to enter without any question since they were probably Swiss Nationals. On asking for a reason as to why we cannot enter, we were told that we just cannot enter even if we offered to pay for the entry which was otherwise free. Some of my other friends had a similar experience, turns out Asians are not welcomed in this club. I hope the senior authorities of the club realise their mistake if it is their decision or brief the security person about the same, if not. The club SERIOUSLY killed the mood yesterday!!

After countinous requests to the club security person, He did not let us in for no reason even though we asked the reason. They had no reason! And they were letting everyone else get in even when we had a Swiss permit and we were ready to pay and also dressed appropriately. This looked very racist and very disrespectful.. I am very unhappy for this. This created a very bad first impression of the place for me. I hope the security people should have a valid reason for their actions next time.

Couldn't get in, buddy had a vomiting attack in front of the club for 3 hours😂 still 5 stars, the bouncer helped a bit.

Basically an interesting location. We were at a Goa party. The decoration was ok, nothing special. The DJ selection is a bit monotonous. The employees (security/cashier/cloakroom/bar) were all in a great mood. The drink prices are okay and the beer is good. The toilets are adventurous. The people were just standard city clubbers and the average age was lower than usual, but it wasn't particularly troublesome.
